FC3 A10A RWR, AIM9, Salvo ripple, time, and amount

 

Rwr contacts are invisible but I hear the cue sounds of radar nails and search radar, but no RWR indication.

 

Aim9s do not lock the MI24s..

 

Left SASA toggle switch activates up and down when RWR is detecting search radar contacts.

 

too me it looks as if you guys are doing an AFM A10A with clickable cockpit?

 

Salvo: ripple, time and amount is not working.

It seems that with each new up date it getting more bugs then before! When does it stops and can we get a final product! Because with the amount of money I spend on DCS modules I getting bad results.

A-10A stil no weapon-system functions,

F-15C landing gear,

Heat blur function is always on even when disabled,

Mirrors are still there when disabled,

FPS are still low even when set at low settings,

Plus all the above threats bugs report that stil not fixed!

Don't get me wrong here I still think that DSC is the new Combat Flight Sim of the future. BUT I'm thinking to ground all plane and wait a year and mean wail go fly in ARMA 3 that is worth the money! Because they are in Alpha and it is great shapes, here and there a little bug. But the gaame-engine is superb and I have a mind-rang and I'm getting 30-40 FPS in a busy bases fight with 30 people in multiply!

When I fly FC3 I'm getting in cockpit 5-25 fps and out side 10-20 fps.

And still don't get me wrong I find the new 3D cockpits, the plane-models

and the graphics really awesome but I'm a bit disappointed in the big picture of the hole DCS.

But I'll wait for that moment when it is finished.

 

P.S. 1.2.1 was for me good enough for FC3.

Right, the FPS in 1.2.4 are really terrible.

From 60fps in 1.2.3 to ~ 20 during demanding scenes...

 

Btw: I see much higher fuel consumption in Su27. Maybe not a bug...

I wish I had a FPS of 20, I would sign for it!

But when I look around here and almost everyone here has a mid- or high end pc.

And some of them (the majority) has problems with FPS in the game. And some of them are looking for tweaks to over come that issue. And some of them find it. But why would you, because it is still in beta... Right?!(FC3?) But why is it that a lot of peolple that having a problem and come to here for questions getting answer like;'It is probably your settings' or 'What are the spec's of your rig, because the problem could be in there' or 'Do you got the right driver for your graphic card?'

Most of the gamers here knows what they do and have other games that they play. And some have them have FS9, FSX, BF3, CoD, Crysis 2 or 3, Far Cray 2 or 3 and Arma 2 or 3!

And they have no problem with these game in FPS. Why is that? And when they play/fly DCS W/A-10C/FC3 they have bad FPS!

With all do respect. I like this game really and I'm a big fan from the beginning with Lock On Air Combat Simulation my first flight sim.(ok microsoft flight combat was the first but that comes with the pc that I bought back then and that didn't count because that was really terrible!!) Any way my piont is....! Fix it please because there is no sim like this!

I think I have a couple of new ones:

 

- SA-11 SR not working (doesn't show on RWR, Phantasmagoria, SA-11s fire only on relatively short range when TELAR radar takes over)

 

- AI command "Search and Destroy in Zone" not working.

 

- SEAD targets prioritization and weapon choice not working.

 

- AI command "Attack Group" excludes ARMs from being used (AI attacks a SAM battery with guided and unguided munitions, but not ARMs).

 

As a general comment, AI SEAD routines should be given a bit more attention - as it stands now, SEAD enroute task will make an AI engage every single piece of AAA along the way, and it will use guns even in completely suicidal situations. However, with SEAD task turned off, AI will never use ARMs. This should be taken care of with target prioritization, but alas it doesn't work...

Today I noticed some A10-A in cockpit sounds missing - landing gear, speedbrakes and bomb release. Also, the single/pairs release modes are still not selectable...

Correct the Single pairs select not working

 

Also the AI seems to beable to lock with Aim9s but humans can not.

FC3 A10A

 

another report

FC3A10A,

 

Sound for cockpit open and close is way to long, does not sync correctly.

 

A10A model the Slats still stay open. Nevermind there still not working. I can see the A10C is in, but when the user looks at his plane there out, when I look at my plane there out....

 

The 3 rack HE rocket tubes are still low polly textures..

 

The CBU 97 almost hit their intended targets, first canister still fall short. I think the piper for set ups might be off?

 

When set up for 2 bombs release if your short one weapon you change to a new weapon the

unfinished salvo release's an aditional weapon from the new selected weapons..

 

i.e. you have 3 CBU97 but you release first pass with 2, then second pass you still have 2 set up

but only 1 left, then switch to rockets or additional CBU 87 it drops a weapon.

Salvo set up still not working.

Yes SEAD is not working well :cry: In the F15 Campaign FC3 Bear Trap, the mission 5 and 6 needs a clean from SEAD otherwise strike will not be able to do their job. But SA10 engage SEAD and kill all of them. Or SA10 engage the SEAD and they drop their missile...so they become useless.

I saw F16 fire AGM-88 against a SA10 radar and hit it...70% of the SA10 life bar was remaining ! :huh: Really ?

 

So must fix the damage of agm 88 AND the AI of SEAD please :)

Is normal that target cricle so high? Maverick circle behaves the same way.

no love for the A10A's still grounded..:thumbup:

 

ok the Salvo mode is working but the selector Knob is not, so you can set up sngl prs if you can remember how many clicks of the hot key press to make to get sngl prs, and sngl, and pairs.

 

CBU87s work only if you get a direct hit. a Light armor, and medium armor.

 

all CBUs still fall short of Targets from the A10A pipper or Pave penny, I place pipper over the target and they still fall short....

 

Also the slats show open client side, all ways open. MP they are showing closed from PVP but if client looks at his own plane slats are open.

SU27 in Ver 1.2.4 Air to Ground CCRP mode not working correctly..weapons release as soon as the pickle button is pressed.

 

After flying the Pipper to the target and pressing and holding the pickle button, weapons release immediately and impact grossly short. The usual process of the time to release cue and "Fly the tail to the director circle" just doesn't happen. As soon as press and hold the pickle button the Time to go arrow races to the bottom of the TTG scale.

 

CCIP works just fine.

 

MIG29 CCRP works as advertised so its an SU27 issue

Not exactly the Bug I have about CCRP with all Russian FC3 aircrafts (Su-25T as well).

To me, the problem occurs when I pull / hold the Trigger : the diamond target marker appears "lower" than the aiming pipper position (should be at the same position, right ?).

Seems to be a aiming / marking problem "only".

 

After that, everything seems to work correctly : the arrow is going down on the time scale and the bomb is released in time to fly to the exact diamond marker position.

+1 Fouga good testing.

 

Based on your post I re visited CCRP in all the Russian aircraft. The SU27 is clearly the worst affected. When you press the pickle button in the SU27 to designate the target The diamond does indeed drop way short of the Pipper designation point. CCRP then works but the bombs impact the false low designation point. i.e. the diamond which is always grossly short of the target. its easy to test. Just Press and hold the pickle button with the pipper on a specific target. Then push the nose down to see where the diamond sits .... well below the desired target. Its repeatable on every CCRP pass.

 

The MIG29 does the same but the designated point (diamond) does not drop quite so short as it does in the MIG29. Bomb impacts are still short at where the diamond ends up.

 

The SU25 is a little harder to test as you don't get the diamond on designation, however weapon impacts in CCRP seem to be ok.

 

The SU25T is similar to the MIG29. The diamond drops about 150-200m short of the designated point. below the designated. Weapon impacts then occurring at this point.

 

I tested all types using FAB500.

 

Like you Fouga I think this is a serious bug that needs addressing.

Is this a Bug ? I'm not sure.

Having some Gunzo dogfight with the Su-25, I was able to use the Aiming pipper from CAC mode [6] and the Fixed reticle sight [8] at the same time ?!

I thought the [8] reticle was just a backup mode that replaces any other HUD indication.

 

EDIT : True for any combat mode, Ground [7] or CAC [6], with the Su-25 only ; no way to have both on Su-25T or any other Russian fighter.

I just wanna let you guys know I just tried Su-27 with CCRP mode and although I saw the dot on piper is missing, the bombs did fall on piper designated area for me. This is mind you in latest test build so it might have been fixed... I will test bit more tomorrow and over weekend, if I find it to be still buggy I will report it... (I'll then try Su-25T and MIG-29S also)
