Gonzo01 Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 Dual Core means two, what if you already have six (i7 990X). Maybe the question should read two or more?

Vault Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 i7 2600k. Dual cores are starting to struggle now. You really should of upgraded to a 2500k for gaming or 2600k for gaming and video/photo editing by now. The 2nd gen 1155 socket will also be compatible with Ivybridge. The current price of 2500k's that can be clocked well over the 4ghz mark is a futre proof no brainer. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Pilotasso Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Got one at 4.5GHz and under-volted to 1.24V. :) .
