DSR_T-800
https://youtu.be/nubn_QpkHnI?t=819 DCS please make this happen <3. P-47 looks so good in formation flight. Notice the AOA the P-47 has to keep to fly with Corsair. Edited December 22, 2017 by DSR_T-800 http://i.imgur.com/LYvIQFB.gifv

Greb
I love all the WWII era aircraft but the Jug is by far my favorite WWII prop airplane. I'm dying to see it in DCS!

A very clever observation with an attached question that we are doing a little bit all, what happened to the new damage model?
foxl
Just a question. Was it not much harder to find documents on the Bf109 K4 and FW190 D9? given their rarity and so few was produced and used in combat? Compared to the P47 that still fly at air shows etc, the current P51 was based on a plane that someone in the ED company owns if i remember correct? cant the same be done on the P47 if someone who owns one want to share that information.:pilotfly:
DefaultFace
Not 100% sure but apparently availability of documentation was one of the reasons the K4 and D9 were chosen over Gustav & Anton. Although I can't imagine why this would be the case either. 9./JG27 "If you can't hit anything, it's because you suck. If you get shot down, it's because you suck. So while there are docs out there, they are harder to find, and for a PFM, there is a certain level of documentation they require. German documents were captured by the Allies at the end of WWII, and most of those are now stored at the NASM, makes for finding documents for FMs much easier. Does this mean there is enough data for ED to make a 109G/F / 190A?? ... pretty please.... :P 9./JG27 "If you can't hit anything, it's because you suck. If you get shot down, it's because you suck. DefaultFace
Yes... more specific teasing please :music_whistling: jk Hopefully some of it will be in our hands sometime soon... or at least announced so that we can see where DCS WWII is going (/drool over it while we wait). Still hoping that the online community can grow beyond the same 10 people on 2 servers playing airquake atm. 9./JG27 "If you can't hit anything, it's because you suck. DCS - especially the 109 FM - already killed my flying experience with prop a/c in every ohter sim i know. It would be highly sadistic to stop here:megalol: Main Module: AH-64D Personal Wishlist: HH-60G, F-117A, B-52H

nick10
We’ll probably get Leatherneck’s Corsair long before we get our P-47! http://leatherneck-sim.com/magnitude3-new-years-update/ Wow. Didn’t realise the F4U was that far progressed. I’d be tempted to buy that if I could see some sort of reassurance the damage models and the rest of dcs ww2 were being worked on. Weta43
Wow. Didn’t realise the F4U was that far progressed. After visiting that page I'm glad they've solved the FPS problem with a temporal fix. If they'd spill the beans on the methodology, I wouldn't mind temporally fixing a few things during my university studies some years ago... Cheers.
