-MadCat- Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 So we are talking totally fictional now?! I'd throw in the Sa-2 Samson from AVATAR. Or, for a little more combat oriented, the lighter Scorpion gunship from the same movie. Or, if that's impossible, I'd be more than happy with an AH-6 Little Bird :music_whistling: Greetings MadCat Link -> Stateful button commands for many DCS modules

Angbor Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 MH-53 Pave Low. The electronics in that thing would be so much fun to fly around with. Plus doing AtoA refueling in a helicopter would just be a whole nother experience. But those same systems are probably why we won't see a DCS module of it, at least for a while. I still keep my hopes up though. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sikorsky_MH-53
Ali Fish Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 (edited) well if its fantasy, planes are out. Iron Man mk2 suits are in ! Vulcan, buccaneer, jaguar, harrier, arkroyal and a Nimrod would be a nice appealing historic flight sim avenue to take. edit: forgot the Victor. Edited January 15, 2014 by Ali Fish [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
docfu Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Definitely the Mig from Firefox with Clint Eastwood. That thing was something else. Not really special, but just something else...
BigMotor Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 B-36 Peacemaker, F-105 Thunderchief (Thud), Grumman Cougar, and the Harrier. Sheesh, guess I've revealed my age here.
joey45 Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 If it's true fantasy we're talking about them it has to be only one this....... G.U.N.D.A.M. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. "Me, the 13th Duke of Wybourne, here on the ED forums at 3 'o' clock in the morning, with my reputation. Are they mad.." https://ko-fi.com/joey45
tomcatter Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 been said, but with no doubt, mine would be THE BLACKBIRD. A fantastic, revolutionary machine, and soooo sexy. I imagine just the start-up on a SR-71, and i go mad.......would pay for that. And try to imagine the skills needed to fly a 8 hours mission with 3 or 4 refuelings, 3 or 4 supersonic jumps, taking pictures with your sensors while you are navigating your plane at 80.000ft/ 3.2 MACH .... WOW
NoCarrier Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 The Sikorsky S-67 Blackhawk, the sleekest attack helicopter that never was.

WOW I agree with this! Plus you could have a map "extension" that is basically just an airbase far away from the actual map, take off, refuel, fly over, take photos, taunt Mig31s... That would be simply awesome. Osprey would definitely be cool too, and interesting to fly. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Shein Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 I read through the whole thread, amazed no one said it: The RAH-66 Comanche. Most of the info on it is declassified; I'm friends with the lead test engineer. Really cool dude. I got to sit in it at Fort Rucker's Museum 2 years ago. Both finished prototypes are in back in storage, rotor blades removed and up on jacks. To this day, that helicopter is still 20 years ahead of its time... and it was going to be in the field by today were it not canceled in 2004. Well... supposedly. I guess it was pushed back A LOT. See my avatar if you don't already know what it is.

winchesterdelta1 Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 This is the fantasy plane i want. Unique aerodynamic properties depending on how you fold it and very unpredictable when flying. Go in close, and when you think you are too close, go in closer.
Abburo Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 What about a module with this: Romanian Community for DCS World HW Specs: AMD 7900X, 64GB RAM, RTX 4090, HOTAS Virpil, MFG, CLS-E, custom
PLP Posted January 17, 2014 Author Posted January 17, 2014 I feel that we are missing... DCS: Santa's sleigh. Although I'm not sure ED could pin the flight dynamics down with so much data that's still classified. And then accurate reindeer coolant temperature management would be hard for any simulator to achieve... Maybe if they made a deal with the North Pole DoD for a santa trainers contract? :music_whistling: [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
gaspuch62 Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 (edited) Command & Conquer aircraft such as the Banshee (fighter?), Orca(assault craft, fighter, bomber, gunship) , Firehawk (fighter bomber), Venom (patrol craft), Apache, Vertigo (stealth bomber), and Harpy (attack helicopter.) I know, it's a lot of aircraft that would probably need EA licencing. Also: Mikoyan Project 1.44 Edited January 28, 2014 by gaspuch62
