It seems to me just absurd to flush those years of hard work to the toilet :doh:

 

If Beczl Studios are in those serious trouble as beczl said, they should be able to get some further investments or sell their WIP to someone else... Maybe ED could get involved? Maybe some negotiations already started :smilewink:

Guys, I dont want to get too deep into trying to analyze what happened because we just dont have much in the way of facts, I think enough damage has been done here that I would rather people just show their support for the team and the module and hope for a fast resolution, I hope you all understand where I am coming from with this.

You're right, we can't do much more than this to help them out . But, 'cause I really cannot do anything else for them besides showing my support, then all I wanted to say is:

Damage was not done by us. We always showed support for the module and the team. Why go in "hiding" on SimHQ?

 

Anyway ... very excited to hear March 30 release is within grasps (that means the project, regardless of release date, is still a go).

No one is "hiding" on SimHQ, they obviously have a following on those forums as well and Cobra just wanted to keep the people in the loop just like on these boards here...

Damage can be done by us, by assuming, guessing or such on what happened or who is to blame, etc... I dont want to play the blame game or try and figure out what has happened or the cause. Just show your support and hope for the best outcome.

I do very much agree, but one can´t really expect people not to jump out of their seats and start speculating when they read something like the confusing bits that have leaked to the public out of the blue and without any further explanation.

 

The silence now is only understandable, but as one of the initial backers I have always shown patience, support and tried to share constructive criticism whenever I did comment on anything. Right now, I can´t help but feel a little like someone who has been left standing in the rain. I am saying this not to assign blame and I guess the mdoerators do understand this as well, but still... This already is a (PR) fiasco, no matter how it will turn out in the end.

Beczl will do everything he can to release the MIG-21 BiS, be it on time, or at a later date if necessary.

 

That's the only thing we know for a fact, the rest is as usual speculation.

 

As for the silence from Beczl, two reason's;

Issue needs to be resolved

He currently has very limited internet access.

Well I really feel bad with this Show. The Team should think very well what they want to do for the next modules, because they have 3 super important proyect for the could war escena.

 

I dont like this proyect with a problematic Team. They should Change for a stable and strong Image.

I prefer to read updates about DCS: MiG-21Bis here and not on the SimHQ forum. After all, this is home base and the team is very welcome here ... all of them.

On a slightly more serious note; it has been shown that organizations that communicate openly with their customers/fan base generally fair allot better in the long run. I would think that since this is Beczl's Studios, Beczl would select an official communications person to liaise with his fans/customers as, lets be honest, his english is atrocious.

 

Just so that u know Beczl I'm still rooting for you ...
