couple qeustions to Wags: is this true Matt that you are going to make/release 3 types of new MiG-29 6DOF cockpits (or more) ?

just like the current ingame-FC3 Fulcrum A/S/G cockpits ?

 

do you have any future plans to make/facelift new F-14, F-4, F-5, F-111, F-117, MiG-25, Tu-95 etc. models ?

 

how's going the new 6DOF Su-25T cockpit 3D model development ? - some WIP images would be nice again :thumbup:

Wags/ED, can you comment how stuff works in steam after this? Right now you can buy stand-alone modules of A10A and SU25 but after this can we buy all FC3 modules one by one or is there only one FC3 pack available? Just asking because there is a lot of people that have A10A and Su25 on steam and I don't think they would want to spend another 50€ to get other modules that they are missing (even though it's cheaper to buy that 50€ bundle). Or does stand-alone FC3 modules just get moved off?

 

I think it's a market strategy that for someone who likes playing only one or two aircrafts (f15c su27) does not need to purchase the whole package and never touches others (su25...a10a), and can also save $20 or even more. To someone else, who likes all, buying the packages can save tons of bucks.

Probably because it´s not really part of FC3. Based on the images we were shwon a while ago, I´d guess it can´t be much longer than the Su-33 and MiG-29.

Maybe not part of FC3, but it is/was the foundation for FC.

Or once the AFM comes to the main fighters and a couple realistic crash landings.

 

That trailer is old, no A-10C and UH-1H arent in FC3, but they are in DCSW to interact with..

... So I already bought A10A and SU25 and was waiting for the standalone F15 to be the next one to buy. So now if I buy the whole DCS FC3 pack I will have the A10A and SU25 licenses twice. Can I at least give them to a friend ?

 

Technically, you can - have your friend create an account with digitalcombatsimulator.com first.

 

Identify the keys on you have for A-10A and Su-25 in the Module Manager

Log onto https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/personal/licensing/

 

Check details on each key and unbind them from your login.

Give them to your mate of choice, and get him to activate those keys on https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/personal/licensing/ under his login.

i just did fresh install of DCS openbeta with fresh install of 1.2.6 and have FC3 w/o install LO FC2 - and everything work fine!!! Didn't tried 1.2.6 yet

Just a question to ED/Wags: Will my current FC3 install would also receive the updates and features that DCS:FC3 will provide? (No more LOMAC installation prior FC3, 6DOF pits,...) or do I have to purchase a new key?

 

Also, during the 'transition' time between FC3 and DCS:FC3, I find it will be a bit confusing to distinguish the versions since they have very similar names (I rejoin Zaelu on this one).

Don't you think it could be more 'slick' to use the name DCS:FC instead? It's also a continuity to use the name format you use for the independent modules (A-10a : DCS Flaming Cliffs; F-15c : DCS Flaming Cliffs;...) => just DCS Flaming Cliffs (so the bundle of all the FC level flyable aircraft)?
