Given that diagram above, I may try seeing if I can get an extra 5 AoA on the aircraft when I'm flying the E and have it perform equally to the "hard wing" in this campaign. Only at the 3rd mission (just learned Lag Pursuit, Lag Roll and Butterfly Setup), but it's a fantastic campaign so far. Great job.

Any ideas? I've been unable to play DCS for a few weeks now because of this issue.

Using VR and haptic since 6 years ago aprox. DEfinitely both mandatory for me to fly. The haptic for helis is great specially for feeling VRS. For engine startups is a really nice addition to inmersion. For Huey, you will notice whenever your left of right crew engages with their guns, with stereo effects. Also worth mentioning, the PRO version for HF8 is apparently and massive improvement regarding confort and performance, according to online reviews. Good thing is, you can buy the item on amazon, try it for 30 days, and make a decision. Back in the day, when non-haptic friends came to test the haptic, we fire up DCS and, after 5 minutes flying with haptics ON, I silenty turned the device off(yhey were wearing VR). Then all of them complained what jhappened, the sim feeling numb and lacking.

Not in DCS. The ground game is very lacking and rarely gets addressed. I use the illumination flare trigger to simulate illum rounds. You set up a trigger zone for the areas you want the rounds to be at and can set the altitude they "deploy". They fall pretty slow.

I wonder if F-35 drop, we get thread like: "allow F-35 to be visible on radars" becouse stealth gives unfair adventage on servers, and is not balanced, just a little realism option, what's wrong with this?

Bonjour, Je viens de prendre le JF17 et franchement je me trouve super bien. J'adore et je viens du F16/F18. Malheureusement les bug, sont vraiment dérangeant. Sur le pods surtout et celui du laser pour le roquette qui est pour moi, sont point fort en strike. J'espère que sa sera résolu rapidement. Le bug du pod date déjà de quelques années. Je croise les doigts qu'on n'oublie pas ce module. Car général ED, font énormément de MAJ sur le 18/16. Mais se module arrive dans les oubliettes.

No idea, and without a track file its tough to say. first thought was brightness rocker mapped to something unintentional. Or IFFCC being switched off somehow. Resetting IFFCC or going to IFFCC test would be a better idea than your generators or CDU.

Why not? It was flying with Phoenix from the start in the 70s. Sorry you feel that way but here's reality kicking you hard. Haven't you expect this to happen? Didn't you read the thread: A lot of things work differently. Rules of the game have changed. Either adapt and learn it or keep flying FC3 verison but you can't expect to have good results when flying the aircraft in missions that are simply not suitable for this airframe - trying to force it as SEAD or BVR machine vs Fox 3 is just tormenting yourself.

Ich habe die Home Version, und bin sehr zufrieden damit. Du musst dich halt etwas im Internet umschauen & dich fragen: Benötige ich die Features die Pro mir bietet, bspw.: Ich hatte zuvor Win 10. Das Upgrade auf Win 11 Home war im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes ein Kinderspiel. Lief ohne Probleme durch. Zu deinen anderen Argumenten: Ich kann dich verstehen. Ich bin aktuell dran meinen PC hier nur fürs Zocken auf Windows zu lassen. Meine anderen beiden Laptops aber auf LMDE umzustellen. Und diese für alle anderen Arbeiten zu nutzen.

I have a similar setup. Probably not the same issues you're having, but last month my Gigabyte 5070 TI OC started randomly completely turning off while running DCS missions, all screens would go black - I'd have to do a PC reboot. I did trouble shooting with both ED and the PC's manufacturer. Looking at data from HWiNFO, the GPU seemed to be overheating, fans going crazy RPMs, and then shutting down. ED thought it might be due to the GPU being factory overclocked by Gigabyte. They said factory overclocking sometimes caused issues with DCS. They had me run the GPU with Nvidia Debug mode turned on via Nvidia Control Panel - this temporarily resets the GPU to original Nvidia specifications and turns all overclocking off. Doing this cured the crashing, but I had to do this every time I started DCS, so I replaced the 5070 TI OC with a basic Gigabyte 5080. Everything is running cool and smoothly now.

You misunderstand me. You can say that you don't understand at all. Apparently, it's really about the language barrier. It's better to leave this argument. I just repeat that I am against simplifications in modules that are not related to Flaming Cliffs 3.

Why is it important that only at F1-16 ED? Other aircraft modules/AI missions are not so good ?

Hi, I've started flying on CW:Germany with a date before GPS, so having to rely only on INS navigation. There's obviously some drift after a while and the advice from the manual is either to update position using a waypoint over a recognizable feature, or use the tacan database. It seems that the Tacan database is only populated on Caucasus and unpopulated on all the others I could test (Cold War Germany, Marianas, Persian Gulf, Sinai). Manually adding a TACAN at the beginning of each flight will rapidly become old, so is there a way to populate that database differently? I assume at some point there will be a DTC interface for that but it's not yet the case. I can see the maps have a Beacons.lua (or beacons.lua) file defining those so I'm unsure what would be needed. It'd be really useful for those CW scenarios.

Nice to see the replies here, as a newbie to systems i dont really know too much. I did however buy at the time the best i could for dcs to get the best graphics. I may not bother doing this then. Im running a nvidia 4090 with 7800X3d and use HP Reverb G2 Vr, personally thought about replacing the reverb with a pimax crystal light for better visuals..... my be worth doing?
