  2. Out of curiosity, what type of DCS installations are you all using this software with? Is it DCS Steam Edition or the standalone version?
Hab mich also für PRO retail entschieden.
  4. Yep, I see what you mean. I think you are very close with the eyepoint/pilot setting. The second picture shows the pilot sitting back relaxed, and there would be roughly two more "heads" to touch the glare shield/gunsight. The last picture has the pilot sitting quite high, but the gunsight reflects onto that high mounted reflector glass. It would be interesting to see how much the pilot "looks down" to see the instruments. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  5. If it resets all your points for a pilot to zero, you have a bug/mod somewhere. It's supposed to give you zero points on that particular mission due to the fratricide, which is "fair", not remove all your points. It was a little confusing for me at first too, but then I checked. Cheers!
  6. Love me my gull winged killing machine....
  7. Maybe it isn't even lack of trust. I absolutely trust my inadequacies in Chinese/Russian/Sinhala to not even try! Sri Lanka is a fantastic place by the way. I'd love to go back, they have whole valleys smelling of tea and cinnamon. Absolutely amazing!
  8. "Lutch" indicator for antiradiation missiles (replaces the TV when BA-58 "Wyuga" pod is mounted). With su-25a avionics those are still fired "maddog" but it allows to place the aircraft at a right angle so theres higher chance for signal interception by the seeker (yes, I have tested it).
  9. Those are not flares. They are a special illumination cartridges that blow up with bright and short flash - for the night photos. No idea if I'll be able to make it work but sure I'll try.
  10. SPOILERS Spoilers Hardest mission i played yet. I had no ground reference and the upper atmosphere made it hard to stay level and even see. Flying into the sun was not easy either I am not a pilot but sit in a chair at home in front of a screen. Got a few hits in the bugger but shooting in their wake at that alt is not easy. Not enough damage to down him so stop chasing which also was not easy at alt and turned for home. Landed.
  11. Thank you very much for your help. Now my AI Gunners are shooting.
  12. Pretty sure he was referring to stuck up virtual pilots, not real ones.
  13. Today
  14. I'm using it as my profile background now. Hope @OmasRachE doesn't mind.
  15. I assume you're using a mod manager for this? Just checking.
  16. I just played that mission yesterday and dropped just fine. Arm both pylons (switches down) and select "both" on the armament selector (down and left), then press the pickle button. Make sure the pickle button is NOT assigned to the spacebar, the spacebar is reserved for user input by DCS. Also, to be sure, remove all unofficial mods and run a slow repair.
  17. I think you're overreacting "a tiny bit". Imagine all those other modders that will have hurt feelings when their mods doesn't get any attention. Never underestimate feelings! You've been on the Internets long enough. I'm not joking, I'm pretty sure ED pay close attention to this thread. There's a reason some other mods have made their way into the core, and to my knowledge those threads never got even a single positive official acknowledgement from ED. Pretty sure you've seen the videos where the A-4E was featured. And then ED stated it would not be part of the core, but a nod to the team. Wouldn't surprise me at all if we see the Lanc in videos in the future. Personally, if I were ED I would contact YOU to have your trains added to the core. You're doing a fantastic job! Maybe when the train issues in the core get fixed in the future, who knows? I would hire you as the DCS train master if it was up to me! [emoji1] Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

  19. Hey Stone Sky, I'm having problems with mission 3. My flight lead (not sure if that is Gatling) takes off before me. When I take off he's nowhere to be found. I fly around the base a few times and no sign of him. I went to wp2 but still no flight lead? The brief says Pusher is my wingman but I don't see a wingman anywhere either. I'm guessing I'm missing a trigger here somewhere because I get no radio comm's with anyone after told to rejoin. Also my FCR is not picking up any vehicles anywhere along the river? I can't attach the track file because its too big. I'll try a track file just from the base and see if that is small enough? Thoughts?

  21. @sabreman I assume you let DCS send the crashlogs every time? If you haven't done so already, I would throw in the towel and make a support ticket now.
  22. That one went straight to my library! [emoji1] Thanks! [emoji1303] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  23. he need a bombing task probably. i have a b52 that launch cruise without any problem but i use moose not mission editor: CONTROLLABLE:TaskBombing Also: the purpose of the AI aircraft's "Reconnaissance" task in DCS it tells the AI that this flight is performing a recon mission, not a combat or transport mission. This affects formation behavior, radio chatter, and ROE (Rules of Engagement) defaults, but does not automatically cause it to detect or report targets. Recon AI flights tend to avoid combat and may maintain altitude and distance rather than engaging You can make the “Reconnaissance” task mean something by combining it with triggers or Lua scripting.
  24. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s confusing it for some western 4th HPRF/MPRF signal. Which would of course reduce any utility against 4th gen’s. Not sure what it couldn’t confuse at this point
