It was meant to make you aware that the wheel is behind you and to take that into account when turning so you don't turn too late or too early

Strange, I've spoken to many people, interacted on all of our social platforms. If you feel you can not give feedback in public PM me directly. Thanks

That I know of. But I am not sure what tutorial meant with this. I thought it was some "lever" inside cockpit. "Keep in mind that the strut is placed behind pilot seat". On second thought was it to raise awareness of caution during taxi ?

I've got the canopy reflections on 0 and still get way too much reflection on the visor in VR. Is there another reflections option somewhere?

Should I see a little cross on the HUD where the radar is pointing in this version cause I do not? Target is locked

reported AV8B AI will not take-off
BIGNEWY replied to Darcaem's topic in Aircraft AI Bugs (Non-Combined Arms)
this has been reported, thank you -
There is a new air launched ballistic missile in the pipeline. It’s pending with ED for several months now, and no one knows when it’ll be officially available. I would not hold my breath. Block 3 is a distant possibility if Pakistan upgrades their block 2s and Deka has enough infos to make them.

Yeah 20cm is a bit too long. I'm just gonna go for 10cm. Basically I need to mount the base a bit lower so it fors better with my NLR rig and add a little more precision for rotary stuff.
-
No, sir.

Do you know what the nose wheel strut actually is in the first place?
-
Longest one I achieved was between 70 and 75km against fighter sized target. Detection appeared around 85 - 90km.

Что-нибудь слышно по грачу? Может что-то на зарубежных форумах?

А ЛЗП у МиГа я так понимаю нет? Только ЗК? По ЛЗП летать только визуально?

For Weser-Wuemme though, the power lines in the approach sector of RWY01 are in fact correct, and looking at Google Maps (I am not familiar with that airfield in RL), the same thing applies to Waren-Vielist RWY06.

Much appreciation to Warlord64 for this and all his other work to make simming a much better place. I am delving back into the B-17 to see if there is still hope for this magnificent model. (Absolutely loved the Reflected campaigns for the BF-109 and FW-190 btw). Looks like the .json file sequence and content got changed. Just did a re-sequence of entries combining the new file and Warlords one and it seems to work. Not sure if its been covered elsewhere? Cheers, (Make sure you back-up the original .json file. ) b-17g.lods.json

Thanks - does the inbuilt kneeboard not handle jpg then? I'm sure the folder name is right, unless I've gone nuts

This is in part because Ugra mixed pre- and post 1995 revision ICAO codes. If they really want this to be a Cold War map, then the East German airbases and airfields should not have ICAO codes at all, and the West German airbases should have their pre-1995 ICAO codes. Just as an example, Buechel AB was EDSB before 1995, nowadays it is ETSB (T being the denominator for all military airbases in Germany post 1995) and EDSB is Saarbruecken today, but in the sim they use ETSB. Also, the layouts especially of the East German airbases are much closer to their today's layouts than to Cold War. I'm not gonna scold Ugra for the map, I really like it, but there are quite a few inconsistencies in that aspect.

Hey sterny, I flew the mission again and was able to distroy the SA-2 with my second shrike. I aproached low with some terrain cover and poped up like briefed. I made one slapshot likely out of range and had the luck, that the SA-2 targeted my number 4. So I flew straight towards the SAM in about 4000 ft AGL and released my second shrike which finally did the job. My number 4 sadly got shot but there was no issue with the shrike hitting the radar. I felt like going for a 100 % score since an Igla shot me right from below while distracting the SA-6. At the end my score was a crap since I somehow screwed the procedures at some point and also was about 40 seconds late on TOT. But the shrikes did a fairly resonable job.

DCS - Map editor - Loading any map - freez in load
JetJake76 replied to Molnija1985's topic in General Bugs
@sleighzy OK, maybe I should create a new topic, I decided to post here because I had seen posts from user Dashomat, who seems to have exactly the same problem. If I want to enter Missions, Trainings, etc., I have to be online during loading of DCS. When DCS is loaded, and I disconnect the WIFI, I still have access to Missions, Trainings, Encyclopedia, etc. The problem is when I disconnect the WIFI before loading DCS, In that case everything freezes. I use the Steam version of DCS, I don't know if users of the standalone installation have the same problem in the offline mode. The log I attached Is from the case when I run from Steam Offline. -
Where is the location of nose wheel strut ? Mentioned in interactive tutorial upon taxing. Somewhere behind pilot seat ? Does it do same thing as Lalt + Q or something else ?
-
Yes, you set it there. Should be in the ingame briefing. Depends on the airport, but around 5000ft is a decent altitude to switch the altimeter.

Hello. The JF17 is an excellent module for DCS, but I'd like to know what the work plan is for improving it or adding new weapons. And if there's any planning for Block 3 at some point.
