  4. Well, some 20 years ago, I used to fly IL-2 with a guy who was Fulcrum pilot in Indian Air Force. I was very enthusiastic about MiG-29 and he just put me down by saying the plane is nowhere near its famed or advertised capabilities. One thing that really stuck in my memory was how he described the radar - "We would often spot other planes in front of us with our eyes before seeing them on the radar."
  5. Never launch beyond 20 miles? Regularly launch at 35 miles with success against fighters. You might as well be using Sparrows if you only want to launch within 20. Key with long-range Phoenix use against fighters besides understanding it is a big fat missile and it wants high altitude launch and high altitude targets is understanding how the flight profile works and how much it is affected by bandit aspect. If you are chasing a bandit your range massively decreases, side on shots also have quite a reduced range. Hot high closure bandits are where you can comfortably stretch the range of the Phoenix. Even 50 mile shots are possible against high speed Foxhounds for instance.

  9. F/A-18C Rise of the Persian Lion Campaign by Badger 633 Hi Badger 633, I love this campaign, that at first. So I'm re-flying this campaign, and in all first 3 missions so far, the F10 Menu stops working after some time. Mostly when a response is required, using the F10 Menu ' Other' option. For example, in mission 3 : once arriving at the sinkers, it asks to view the sinkers type and report using the F10 Menu, but by then the menu is already not responding anymore, when hitting the / button. This has happened now in all the first 3 missions I've flown, and I have just recently re-installed it to fly it again. I have re-flown it several times to see if it was just a one time thing, but kept happening every time again. Kind regards, RWC.

  11. This was the same problem I had with the Fulcrum that took me 3 hours to figure out. In my head I thought it would be easiest to find and change the FOV in a LUA, but if you have never saved a snap view, you won't have a snapview.lua in the Saved Games folder to change. You have to adjust and save the default snap view in game from 118 to something around 80-ish. The Fulcrum is the only module in DCS with this strange default FOV. -Ryan
  12. Hello I just bought the AH64 and playing around now with the different Hold Modes and my FFBeast. I noticed, that the Joystick (Phyiscal one) does not Move or does what the Green X's on the Controls Indicator do. when the Attitude Mode is engaded (over 40 kts) at a certain Pitch Down attitude (to keep accelerating) Shouldnt the Cyclic, simply put, continue to move forward to counteract the pitch up movement of the airframe to keep the selected attitude? Imho an FFB Joystick should move since in this case the AH64 has mechanical Flight Controls with Actuators from the FCS who "help" In the real helos i fly, When Attitude Hold is selected, the Cyclic keeps moving and holding the attitude.   13. Hi guys, RSBN and PRMG works fine. On my upcoming mini campaign (Desert Bad Guys - Fulcrum vs), I installed RSBN/PRMG on all campaign airfields. All of them on DTC as well. it is already uploaded and just waiting release by the moderators. Remember to put and activate 3 Cars: - RSBN - PRMG Loc - PRMG Glidepath. Use a channel number to RSBN and for PRGM add 2 to the channel number. Good luck

  15. I got the NS430. I absolutely love the implementation in the Fulcrum. However, when I wanted to remove the NS430 by unchecking it from the NS430 Special menu, I still had the empty bracket when I popped into the plane. My first thought is that it's actually a fantastic bracket!.... and I love that you can see in in the external model. The only way to get rid of the bracket seems to be disabling the NS430 module, which requires a restart of DCS. Not a big deal. Would it be difficult to have the bracket disappear with the NS430 when simply unchecking it? Otherwise, incredible module! -Ryan

  17. Suprised this hasn't been acknowledged yet. Surely it wouldn't be deemed as "working as intended" seem like a lot of desync? Maybe something else?

  19. 100% и жизнь это показывает )). Разговор бесполезен если оппонент не хочет слышать . Я говорю как есть а не как должно быть . Можешь написать жалобу на 558 АРЗ и весь ИТП в ООН и НАТО , но ИП от этого не перекрасится , тем более на сотнях самолетов , которые уже порезали. На этом я заканчиваю про цвета .

  24. Still the 12 steps checklist. However at night. So what? Note the process of ID friendly location with the rope (not easy at all in DCS), then sparkle target. Night is essentially cheating, but if you don't do it right you could nail your pals on the ground.
  25. That does work if you use the 'copy all with same weapon' option, I think the third option does too. "Copy to all with some payload" doesn't work, I think because left cft and right cft are technically difference payloads.
  26. Т.е требования "Руководства по лётной эксплуатации" вы тоже считаете "на заборе тоже много чего написано"? Все нормативные документы, законы, конституция и т.д тоже можно к данной категории отнести.... мало ли, что и где понаписано... И если где то есть какое то несоответствие, не нужно на это закрывать глаза, а нужно устранять, если вдруг нет такой возможности, но не нужно с пеной у рта доказывать , что "так и должно быть", нет, не должно, просто произошло некое стечение обстоятельств....которое опять же должно было быть устранено и если на в ТЭЧ части, то на АРЗ обязательно и те, кто принимал самолёт после капиталки ОБЯЗАНЫ не пропускать выявленные отказы, несоответствия и недостатки.... Так что забили ваши "инженеры", можете их не отмазывать ... Зря вы так уверены, изначально с завода ИП-52 шли с зелёной индикацией, а вот почему при ремонте не восстановили надо будет задать вопрос, тем более, что и с Микояновцами плотно работаем по всем новинкам, в том числе и по МиГ-УТС....
