  1. Past hour
  2. I also think that the reason there is no information at all is most likely because they cannot afford to pay them. The fact that they had to extend the summer sale also leads me to believe that this may not just be the end of the Razbam modules.
  3. Hi, I have absolutely the same problem. I checked whether other mods affect this behavior of the sighting system. I determined that they do not affect. This is a problem of this version and the developers should solve it.
  4. You'd potentially have no licence servers though if they went under. So it'd be dead to everyone in a week or whatever the maximum offline period is.
  5. Thank you very much for DML and your support using it. Your experience and knowledge is unvaluable and a true loss for DCS Community. @BIGNEWY and @NineLine This is an example of how you should not act with the community.
  6. I'm glad it finally worked out. As one of the lucky ones who has been able to test the Super for a few weeks now, I can only say that it was worth the wait. Have fun unpacking and enjoy!
  7. Hello everyone. I've been using Virtual Destop in Quest3 VR for DCS for five days now and I'm having a problem where something is restricting me from moving the cursor around the menu, and I don't know how to fix it. Could someone help me Please? I've attached a picture of the parts I can move the cursor around, and I'll cut out where something is preventing me from moving.
  8. I think it's a common thing that the more the aircraft moves around the more alive it feels. It's also easy to feel that the more difficult the aircraft is to fly the more realistic it is. While both assumptions are somewhat true sometimes the developers overdo it. This is what I think happened with the Corsair on release. And yeah, if you already got used to the original behaviour the new one might feel like it's on rails.
  9. Thanks and no rush, hope you have a good day at work.
  10. Honestly, if that happened, the sim would simply be frozen at a given point in development, with no further official updates. It'd be a highly flawed, but still enjoyable experience, which is what it is right now. I suspect the community would attempt to fix some issues by modding, and eventually means of dubious legality would be applied to patch the underlying engine. The problem here is 3rd party modules being left behind as the sim develops. This is a very different thing from sim development itself stopping. ED has been quite clear they have a settlement of some nature, and that they're adhering to it in good faith. While we don't know the terms, I don't think it's ED dragging their feet.
  11. Thank you M3
  12. He's probably using Steam, and as this is his first post, he was probably not allowed to post at the correct place. Funny this way this forum. Probably the best way is to have new users post a "hello" in a "this is me" welcome thread.
  13. My apologies @BIGNEWY I will re-do after work
  14. I think I never mentioned blame here and I feel many believe my comments were anti F-35. It's not the hate, its more of an a critique on how the ED's DCS ecosystem is built. To understand this better lets consider how the MP servers work. To play this in MP with reasonable level of authenticity, you need both sides if the server/mission intends to have healthy population. In PvE this does not have worry about this. You can happily have 60 F-35 racing each other to kill more Mig-21s and other lower aircraft, as long as you spawn enough of opponents to keep them happy. There is certainly a customer base exactly for this kind of level of commitment. In case of PvP this assumes that both sides have equal chances of winning the game. F-35 will not have the counterpart which means that the server will have unhealthy and unbalanced population, unless server owners bring F-35 on both sides. Historically even the most famous servers did struggle with maintaining the healthy populations. After a while one side would simply stop playing, and almost always the server owners go for introduction of PvE elements. At the end these servers stay with low count of players only to deplete completely when a new server with healthier and larger population arrives. This is how practically most of famous servers died over the years. Now some may mention the skilled players may try their luck with low tier aircraft. In the wast majority of cases they will not do this, keep in mind that they are actually the smartest players around.
  15. I've installed The Way before and it worked but have recently reinstalled DCS 2.9. Here is the export.lua code I'm trying to fix.. pcall(function() local dcsSr=require('lfs');dofile(dcsSr.writedir()..[[Mods\Services\DCS-SRS\Scripts\DCS-SimpleRadioStandalone.lua]]); end, nil); pcall(function() local TheWayLfs=require('lfs');dofile(TheWayLfs.writedir()..'Scripts/TheWay/TheWay.lua'); end) any help would be great The Way opens but after selecting point the error comes up 'cannot connect to DCS'
  16. Guys, I just tested the Sniper TGP and I have to say that you did a wonderful job with the video filtering. The digital zoom feels like a digital zoom, the video processing of the XR feature is top notch. You really feel like you are using a real TGP with flir instead of a reskin of the F2 camera on the MFD. Now my question is, are you planning in updating all the older TGP, mainly all the different litening implementations on ED modules as well? Or will the litening remain as a superior pod just because you have unrealistic focused and sharp digital zoom and sniper will be just for SIM hardcores and campaign developers? Because as it is now, the Sniper is inferior to the litening (and don't start me with the litening v4 of the razbam harrier) because on those the "digital zoom" is sharp and the flir cam is just a reskin of the TV cam, all sharp with no halo or smudges. The lantirn is ok in both implementations (tomcat and eagle) I'd say the FC4 images can stay because that's legacy code and should be a nightmare.

  17. Alibaba is a B2B shop, so the intent is that you buy in bulk and then sell in low quantity to the end user. For example, here someone is doing so on Amazon US: https://www.amazon.com/INSTAWOW-Bluetooth-Touchpad-Control-Compatible/dp/B0DWKY3QGF And on the German Amazon someone is trying to scam people with absurd prices: https://www.amazon.de/-/en/D06PRO/dp/B0DYCN3G9W @big_fun How did you actually buy it? Did you buy a sample through Alibaba or did you buy it elsewhere?
  18. Pakistan has no planned to add to Afganistan map.
  19. great job!!! Would it be possible to get the kneeboard from you for masking the cockpit?
  20. Hi Your track includes several ground unit mods. Please reproduce your issue in new track without mods so we can analyse it. thank you
  21. Hi, when we test there does not seem to be a problem, can you create a track showing the issue and attach your dcs log from the same session. We do not need a miz that is just the mission file, we require the track replay from the session which you can save when you exit the mission. thank you
  22. Some devices do not send any signal until you command first input. The workaround is to click any button or move any axis on the throttle device before clicking "Fly".
  23. I tested the laser using the included weapons training mission and had no problems at all.
  24. It seems like RB is quite willing to maintain them in order to keep selling them, but ED is unable or unwilling to pay them. I'm just going to add you to my ignore list. Go ahead and add me to yours. We'll both be happier.
  25. We actually don't know if any work has been done. For example, one possibility is that Razbam has a patch ready, but that they are unwilling to give it to ED because they feel that the conditions are not met. Another possibility is that no work has been done yet. We don't know.
  26. Today
  27. Should be soon.
