Hello Team, Since the latest update of META, my Oculus Rift is not working in DCS anymore. DLSS or DLAA creates a stutterfest. Even setting everything to low and disengaging of all filters and sharpening processes, lowering the frame rate to 60 and so on - DCS is not playable in VR anymore. I´m pretty sure that the latest META-update created a lot of troubles (that was the only thing that changed the last weeks) . The latency is very high and the picture in game is freezing after some minutes - comes with whites flashes shortly before. WIN-10 , 64GB RAM, NVidea3080 10GB RAM - Latest Nvidea driver, Latest Oculus driver (META), latest version of DCS. I checked the graphic card - the temperature is never higher then 60°. I running out of any ideas because I lowered everything to the lowest possible setting. Hardware is okay and running well. Help would be more then welcome, Thanks, Cheers, TOM

Likely not, thought it may be something obvious to those using DCE. Sad there are not more F-86 Sabre\MiG-15 bis campaigns available but since there is no Korea map for the Korean War planes guess its inevitable..

HeathenHedgehog started following Combine toggle binds for Visor and NVG
-
The helmet visor and NVGs are mutually exclusive, you can only mount one or the other. Therefore there is no reason to have separate button bindings for each, it just unnecessarily occupies another button. If we could please get a single control to "Toggle NVG/Visor" it would simplify matters and control schemes.

I think you missed this sentence from my last reply: > In a proper mission, the objective may be more important than losing an aircraft, and I'd accept the fight. In that case, which is what I thought we were talking about initially, we'd be in a mid-80s onwards: F-15s were finally sorted and available, and F-14s had the nulla osta for using the AIM-54C against fighters. You will have escort when mud-moving with the F-4, supported by controllers, EW, tankers and so on. You shouldn't YOLO in with a Phantom. Since Kermit is talking about airquake, then the whole situation is different. Out of curiosity, I checked how the game that shall not be named manages this, and F-4E/Kurnass will never see the 9.12 by a long margin (2.0 BR). I hope this reinforces the point I stated above.

It’s unfortunate you went with a sim frame. You could have rigged the seat to slide way back and swivel 90° for entry like in some real sims. They usually use a boating helm seat track. Buy used not new. just do some casters and a door hinge or a piano hinge. Or a car door hinge. Split it one side or the other of the throttle. That’s a full “seam” across the side panel so effectively hidden when closed. although talk about overthinking under building I’m like 2 years now into a damn VPforce custom rig I still haven’t even started. I got the BIG break my arm motors!

Offline competition - show your longest Phoenix hit

I really do wish the “not a cold war” was actually over to see all the actual scenarios and plans from both sides. But, that’s probably going to be another 50+ years at least. Assuming we don’t keep running in circles with stagnating technology like we have since the 90’s. - Today

Be fair, how can you compare these maps? One completed 9 years ago. The other still in early access, not even fully made, WIP. Also the scope was very clear from the beginning - it was supposed to be Vegas and NTTR area made in high fidelity (for the time) while the rest only low quality. It was a great success and a lot of campaigns and missions were made and are made to this day. Yes, it shows its age and could use some maintenance but baked shadows? No such thing here. -
remove user mods and repair DCS does not start anymore

I just had another look at your log based on @H60MTI saying his was a mod named Wolf in his tech directory of his mods in Saved Games. You also have this same mod Wolf in that directory. Might be the one then. -

Haha no worries. Happened to me a lot in the beginning. Just glad you got it sorted now! Enjoy the rest of the campaign! -

Yeah, just “depending on use and mode” could be a lot (in this case it’s toss/CCRP and I assume anytime in CCIP that laser either can’t find range or is burned out), and while the DTC “target altitude” isn’t In relation to departure airfield, I suppose that it could be input into the actual MiG-29 interface as departure airfield delta H and it’s just simplified to “target altitude” in the DCS DTC for sake of simplicity Thing is combat manual says that backup bombing method without laser relies on radar altitude elevation method like Mi-24. Perhaps it only uses this if there is radar altitude present and no laser? edit: okay, reading it again, it was my own mind that added the word “radar altitude” to “elevation method” “To solve the aiming problem in the OEPRN, the range to the target (earth's surface) is measured by a laser rangefinder, or the algorithmic range is calculated using the elevation method.” ”When attacking ground targets, the OEPRNK continuously calculates the range to the earth's surface using the elevation method, which is used to solve the aiming problem if the range from the LD is not received.” Also, I know someone earlier said they used KMGU fine without Coop/retard forward, but for me it seems to work perfect with the switch forward and KMGU, and they hit too long with the switch back. I would be interested in a native speakers interpretation of the following sentence in this picture. I assume it’d saying something about range being between 500m and Max range, but what I find interesting is it also seems to say max laser range is 3500m? I wonder how it knows that? Perhaps the laser is occasionally triggering in basic mode (0.25 hz) and when range is less then 3.5 km it activates in full mode (2 hz)? Perhaps it is doing its slant range calculation based off “target altitude” elevation method then turns on laser at less then 3.5 km?

I suppose I'm replying to a bot, but for the sake of correcting wrong answer above, so that new players are not mislead, OP is talking about the cover of front row of CBs, which is very much implemented, animated and functional... as long as one uses mouse to flip it.

So get crimp connectors or a terminal block. This isn't difficult. You can even get terminal blocks that don't require you to be able to use a screwdriver.

How many people do you think are in that situation? Most of the potential customers could have bought one when they were available and didn't.

As an example the AN/APG-65 and APG-72 RADARS and the ALQ-126 deception repeaters max power is 1000 Watts or 60dbm. For every +/- 3 dbm you double or halve your power... ie 63 dbm = 2000W or 57 dbm = 500w. The RWR receiver doesn't care about the power level of the received TTR signal. However your ALQ deception repeater does. It's what trips your transmitter to respond, or stop responding when in Repeat Mode. It's called Sense (On) and Snap (Off) setting. Ground based TTRs will probably have more max power, depending on the system, than airborne TTRs.
