  2. Ok, I will accept it is not generated by the AI. With proliferation of AI and no direct statement from ED, I had genuine concern which Nineline clarified. It's true: I did go over the line here. But I also think ED should have spoken directly on this topic. I will not comment on contnet of your youtube further, and I am sorry for leaving you feel labeled and angry. On my side I assure you that I did spend large amount of my time researching the topic of 29 flights in 1999. I did try to find out as much as I could, especially due to the fact that the pilots did experience problems whenever they tried to speak out. 26 years after the events we are still learning knew facts and each interview of the pilots from both sides provides additional information. Unlike propaganda narration of media on both sides, I found out that the interviews of the pilots largely matched each other, and that as humans they do respect each other. In some cases I did find out that: parts of their statements were departing from the actually state on the ground, sometimes they avoided telling everything. I would prefer not to use word lie, but simply they can not share everything with us. Each story is time-stamped so English and Serbian speakers can listen themselves potentiality comment on accuracy of translation or provide additional information (reason why forum was chosen in the first place). For each story I provided additional sources(e.g. crosschecked with other branches like VOJIN/EWR) and all information, to my best knowledge are public information with no confidential data. Overall it has been a very satisfying experience for me, I do not feel the effort is wasted. So answer is clear I did do my homework when researching the topic. Your comments are welcome. I do work full time, have a family, go on vacation, and probably do all the things you do as well, and just like you I like having this hobby, and have used my free time and precious vacation days to e.g. visit newspaper archive for one of these stories. If this answer satisfies you I would rather place this topic back to the original track. That said: how do we match the reality with simulated?
  3. The course setting only affects the command steering symbol, not the LOC/GP bars in the HUD/ADI.
  4. I can't get rid of the jittering. I tried everything. Nothing works. I can only assume this is a hardware defect of one or more of the tracking cameras. I have asked for a replacement. If it is not a hardware issue it means the tracking is absolutely abysmal and I will refund the Super. I can't and won't plaster my room with QR codes (well I tried but it didn't work either). This can't be the solution.
  5. OK great news! Following up so anyone running into this same problem and finding this thread will know the resolution. I submitted a trouble ticket and the tech was able to tell me that there was a bug in the offline mode function present at the time of my release (2.9.6.58056 - July 2024). The tech said the offline mode bug had been fixed most likely in 2.9.15.9599.1 (released on 5/5/25) and offered a great suggestion to keep my old version and install a new version and compare their replay modes. Unfortunately I don't have the disk space to pull that off. That left me with no way to run offline mode with my July 2024 release, but updating held the risk that replay mode wouldn't be as accurate as what I experienced with 2.9.6.58056. I decided to roll the dice so updated to the current release (2.9.19.13878) and offline mode worked as expected. Then I tested replay on a couple missions that I always had problems with and replay was solid so good news all around! Regarding replay, I should mention that 99% of the time I fly F18 carrier ops and rarely fly against the AI which is probably why my replays are very accurate. Thanks to all who contributed to this thread...I'm off for a day of offline mode carrier ops!
  6. A me ha detto culo , preso con il 10% di sconto e arrivato in in anticipo rispetto alle 2 settimane dichiarate al momento dell' ordine. Vale quello che costa
  7. Which hasn't stopped me from hanging out in the north, staging BadGuy(tm) helos on a satellite image of an airfield, parking air defense on the Kansas-flat farmland nearby, and working out the best way to defeat the latter. Run through the mountains, or up high? Need to put an SA-10 in there and see if the results change. Love slaloming those mountains. Afghanistan is growing on me, but I also stay away from the sand.
  8. Ahhhh, my eyes.
  9. Hi, I use a collective from this creator, where the friction mechanism is compensated by a spring. The whole thing works absolutely great and the bonus is the compact design. https://forum.dcs.world/topic/240533-simple-controls-collective/
  10. I find this behaviour absolutely infuriating. Please have mercy and provide an option so that selecting a unit in the unit list only highlights it and does not shift the view. Please. Sometimes I think the ME was designed as an instrument of torture. More generally, if the user does not choose to change the view in the ME in the usual way (scrolling and zooming), I don't see why it should be changed by opening windows, selecting units, or any other function not specifically to do with changing the view.
  11. first there was vibe coding, now we are vibe posting.
  12. I moved to an AI VA for a number of reasons I explained years ago. There is not a single line of content, whether it be text, sketches, images, or others that is generated with AI on my website. But I see you are quicker to spit labels on others' efforts rather than spending 30s checking other videos/article, since I clearly talked about that. Just FYI, not everyone has the luxury of have a couple of spare hours free a week. I sometimes don't get them in a month. I do what I can with the time I have. What about you? Thanks again to ED's folks for the Q&A!
  13. Loving all the sound design so far. I will need to rewatch this at home while wearing headphones, but so far it sounds great.. super excited!
  14. Today
  15. Unfortunately F-14/15/18 don’t use CW
  16. I've been on work related journey for two weeks. I just got home (like 4h ago) Anyway, In those hours I started working on BA-52 Vyuga ELINT pod, and then the KKR-1
  17. Cool jetzt geht es los mit der C-130. Hab das Video schon angesehen.
  18. Sorry it took so long, been very busy at work. Since I have rudder pedals with brakes, I have the Bronco right and left brakes set in the "Axis Only" part of the controls. I am not using the brakes in the controls category for "OV Bronco systems." Those act like momentary buttons and that maybe the cause of why your Bronco wants to always drift to the right. If you cant use the brakes in the Axis Controls category, try mapping 1 button to "Both Brakes" and use differential throttles to steer the plane. Hope this Helps.
  19. Is an updated manual available yet and could you have it uploaded to the documentation tab on the DCS website (https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/documentation/)?
  20. Наводились вроде, но только по подсвету с другого Ка-50. "Коды" и вообще система кодировки лазера вполне могут и не совпадать с НАТОвскими. Я бы сказал скорее всего не совпадают.
  21. Max manifold pressure per the manual is 54 inHG, and WEP is 56.5inHG you will damage/destroy the engine if you exceed that. You can take off at MTOW on the Essex with 54inHG just fine. If you run the throttle all the way forward to ~60inHG yes you will kill your engine in short order. Yes, there are margins built into the engines, from 44inHG at 2550 rpm to 56.5inHG, that's the safety margin. You lose some of that safety margin when executing max weight takeoffs from a carrier, that's true in modern jet aircraft too. WW2 is full of things operating on the ragged edge of "just safe enough." The R3350's in the B-29 were infamous for bursting into fire on takeoff or climb due to poor cooling. Military equipment is very rarely designed or built with the same margins commercial products are, some is for performance reasons, mostly it's cost, and lastly liability really isn't a factory. I do agree there are some things in the engine modeling that need to be cleaned up, but torching your engine when you go well past the redline isn't one of the things I'm worried about.
  22. It also looks rather stupid without a radar.
  24. btw, seeing the big radar nose in the thumbnail.... I assume the C-130 has a weather radar? If so, will it work in the DCS environment? Probably no....or?
