Fuel Tank Control knob, magneto switch settings are still not mapped, still +/-, Rocket switches still the same. And the biggest issue is the taxing issue. Really exasperating to taxi the aircraft to take off, it really ruins the whole experience before you even get started. Rudder Trim is still too erratic compared to all the other planes, but it does act like the Mosquito's elevator trim it jumps when you get to a certain point, as if you have gone over a steep hill. The Corsair acts like you have kicked the rudder when you get to a certain point getting the ball back to center. And I have pots for trim control not using the stick's trim hat.

I just watched Matt Wagner's YouTube cold start tutorial and he just skips the control BIT somehow. Once he has the Nav systems aligned and engines started he turns on the AFCS switch and the damper light on the left comes on and the Damper off warning light goes out. How did he do that? I would like to skip the BIT rather than turn off my FFB stick and turn it on back on again after the BIT.

Part of me wanted to help to see the light and joy, but the attitude doesn't help. Deleted a huge text. Hope OP finds that dedicating one module at a time (1 month) to build up a solid memory of everything is better than picking and choosing like in other arcade titles. Fair skies. -

Same in the Quest 2. Movement delay and poor framerates when I enable to middle mirror. If I use only the side mirrors things seem okay. -

I find that I need a ~40 curve on my throttle to get it to match the AB detent in the MiG-29A. It would be great to have an "Afterburner detent percentage" special option like the F-4E has, so we can leave the throttle with no curve and just adjust when the AB kicks in via the percentage option.

Some Marine squadrons are still flying the C/D. The pod is called the ATFLIR... Advanced Targeting FLIR. It replaced the old TFLIR... We used to repair the legacy TFLIR at Boeing's Avionics Repair Facility at NAS Lemoore, but lost the contract for it when the ATFLIR came out. And never got the new contract for the updated version. The ARF is still there repairing RADAR, (65, 73) FCES, (RPYC), FIRAMS (SDC, IFEI), HSD, UFC, CLIPs, BADSA,......... Not sure how much longer the Marines will fly the C/D. The ARF has been there since 1982, when I was first stationed there in the Navy. I retired in June 2021 from the ARF.

So I'm also curious but according to the manual when using the helmet mounted sight we should just have to hold the lockon button, and the IR missiles will slave automatically to where the sight is looking and lock on as long as it's in their gimbal limits, but currently i don't belive that Is what is happening. It feels like the senor is locking first then handing off to missiles to lock onto. Or am I wrong there?

Hello, i found that the "CD"(countdown) function in Timeufc in HSI cannot stop the countdown after started when I was trying to replicate the grim reaper's tutorial In his video, he can start and stop the count down using the ENTER button in UFC, whereas I can't. If I want to stop the CD, the only way is to cancel it and start counting again. What should i do about it? f18 UFC countdown can't stop #2 .trk f18 UFC countdown can't stop .trk

How about the helmet visor actually does it's job and cuts the glare. Like the MiG29s is. If you have JHMCS on and raise the visor, it goes away. Glare is the same.

Just a heads up; I've had my engine seize as well, while flying one of my self made training missions, usually happens shortly after takeoff. No rhyme or reason to it, everything is set correctly, it happened every time, but only on this one mission. No issues with other missions. So I went into the editor, deleted the player AC and place a new one down and the issue went away and haven't encountered it since. Good luck! DrDetroit

To give the system a chance you need to be very controlled and Track the target whilst pre designating. Same goes for flying the Dive Toss smooth steady application of G. A wild snatch doesn't give the system a fair go. The Russian manual actually states Pre designation not required with wind < 5msec. It also sates that the Pre designation period needs to be a minimum of 2 seconds.

Anyone else have problems with the T-pod being out of focus after the last update? It seems normal when in TV mode, but switching to either black or white hot makes everything seem blurry and out of focus.

If your carrier is moving at a good speed, you can drop full flaps and get blown backwards on the deck. Might help to make the plane lighter if it’s not doing it.
