Pimax are supposedly going to sell the Dream Air SE as of 2026. That is apparently small, Micro oled lenses, eye tracking and a DPMI connection. Might be interesting

As far as I was aware no WW2 Japanese assets have officially been released yet. If these then are unofficial mods you will garner no support from ED as third party unofficial mods and any issues there with are not their responsibility. My mistake, I had forgotten a selection of IJA ground units had been included. First, remove any unofficial mods and run a repair then test if the issue still exists. If it does then I would not post in this Bugs and Problems thread as this is for issues with the map itself; I would find either the Bugs and Problems thread for AI units under the DCS 2.9 section or try the similar store as under the WW2 Assets Pack sub forum.

Nothing that you haven‘t heard of already, I guess… At least nothing to my knowledge. Interestingly, I went a very similar route: I came from the G2 to the Quest Pro, tried the Pimax Crystal, but still prefer the QPro for the overall better experience. The only thing it is lacking really, is resolution. I would be super hyped for a Quest 4 or Quest Pro 2, but that won‘t happen before 2027 as far as rumors go. Rumors about a new Valve Headset (Deckard)are circulating for years now already without any substantial news. Eyeballing the Bigscreen Beyond 2e, but the Lighthouse tracking is a bit if a turn off…besides the pricepoint…

Hey @KENNY1988 Yes, was made aware of it yesterday. Looks like a new DCS vehicle tracking bug. Have reported it and fixed it my end also. Will be in next update. Thanks for letting me know. Hope it hasn’t impacted any other missions.

No, I won't switch to Su-25T avionics because people will use it as it has TGP, which Su-22 didn't have. The TV screen was used only for Kh-29T seeker feed and Wyuga elint system. Su-25A avionics have identical gunsight and weapon system as in Su-22. This will do for now. If the CWS guy will not be as busy with Su-30 and 35 for Codename Flanker, he might cook a CWS for Su-22 - already talked with him about it and he agreed - that will allow it to have working TV while still having Su-25A avionics. Moreover, mod is made in such a way that switching avionics to su-25t will render it useless and most things won't work properly. You might like it or not but that is my decision - I am not letting people do things with my mod that shouldn't be done.

No reaction by the team? No "we are investigating it"? No "you're holding it wrong"? No other user that can or cannot confirm the issue (see track, Combined Arms is needed)?

The DCS Tutorial Collection will now close its doors, and I'm giving up on keeping my website up to date. The reason is simply because it doesn't really make any sense anymore. There are meanwhile so many Tutorials out there, and they get outdated in a very short timeframe due to Module features additions and thus new required Tutorial Elements. These Elements are covered well by the DCS Community, but maintaining the Website with this information is pretty much impossible. For those who are still using the Website, you can still use a sort of archived Website which does not really remain maintained. But to get there, follow this link: archived Tutorial Collection Thank you for your support so far, and we eventually get to see us in the Skies in DCS.

Hi I have a nVidia 5080, 64 Go RAM and a I7 ultra core 265K. I use a Meta Quest 3, and around Rammstein, it's impossible to fly without freezes and heavy stutters with a plane with high avionic like the F-18. The solution I've found to fly at Rammstein without stutters and freezes is to create trigger zones and to erase, at the beginning of the mission, all the shelters hidden in the forest at the east side and the south west side of the airbase ( I think that we are around 300/400 shelters hidden among the trees). I know that you wanted to be faithful to the reality of these cold war times but all these shelters are they absolutly necessary in the simulator ?

Hi Badger633, in mission 7, there is a bug, while taxiing out after cold startup. Humvee blocked the taxi road for Devil for Devil 2 and Pala 1 so mission can not continue, see attached TacView file. Even in the year 2025, if you are flying in formation on a tanker during that pond crossing even in 1.5nm wedge, you will still have to disengage your autopilot every once in a while to make small corrections to heading as your spacing collapses and opens and then reengage it. Or keep it in altitude mode and just make small bank inputs every once and a while. Sounds like the OP just doesn't like the A-10... or hand flying an aircraft

You wrote that there would be no TV yet. There you need to switch to avionics 25T and you will look for "workarounds".

Without a track I don't know if what he's saying is actually what is happening or not... but what he is describing is 100% realistic of maverick behavior. It's called G-bias. Mavericks will behave exactly as he described in certain range regimes where they pitch up like that in order to conserve energy and come down like that from a more optimal angle. Pilots very much do have to know those ranges and plan accordingly when operating below a weather deck. If the missile pitches up into a cloud like that it absolutely will lose lock. I don't know how well that is known or modeled in DCS though.

This was more a hypothetical. IRL the jet doesn't know or care what kind of rocket is in that pod. The video game designers apparently modeled the pod to be a lot smarter than its real life counterpart.
