Hi all, I've really been enjoying this campain. Due to work committments it has been about 2 months between mission 9 and mission 10 for me. I was sure that I was doing my start-up exactly the same as I usually did, but today Jester would not align the INS. I figured out that I have to go into the Crew Contact menu and ask him to start alignment. What I remember from before is that I have to completely ignore jester and not respond to him, he will do everything automatically. I don't remember having to manually ask him to do the alignment before. Is this a recent change or is my memory that bad? Thanks Mumby

@Vasco Ferreira this seems like some stupid AI bug tnullhat I am not able to fix so far. It seems like Cajun is dragging a static object with him (it is visible on F10 map), but even if I remove the object or change his waypoint he still falls into the water.. the speed at WP2 is irrelevant because it is linked to fix arrival time and should work OK if he pushes from orbit as he should, which he never does because he doesn't survive that long. I have an idea for a workaround though...

Errr, okay. Well if you intend to purchase another module based on deficiencies of one you already own, feel free to ask ahead of time if it offers the features you desire. Better yet, if you installed DCS via digitalcombatsimulator.com (not via Steam), you can Trial most products for free for 2 weeks. Just check out the big fat TRIAL button on the E-Shop.

Could it be a potential side effect of the new "sanitization" of the dostring command? Did you try putting in the autoexec.cfg in this thread?

im sorry for taking my frustation on you and your team with my post, i understand that in the end the real problem is DCS that keeps changing the core functionality and creating new bugs. so many campaigns and missions that suffer from this, i wish that that we could play a campaign for a older version of DCS so that we played as it was design in the first place. keep up the good work.

Also, more importantly, f14a/b seems only allows you to do computer target bombing(ccrp) at least at 1,6000 feets, be make sure to climb to that altitude, otherwise it don't designate

any new info on this world/global map after that news letter? May be the 3.0 will feature it

Hi all, Unfortunately, this last DCS Update broke the LUA Console of my DCS-BIOS setup. It established communication with DCS, but the console commands are ignored. I'm not knowledgeable enough to fix this myself, so for now I will install as a workaround, a small prior-version DCS Core with just the Marianas map (to save space) and the aircraft I'm currently flying (T-45C User Mod, F4U and M-2000C), and run it only when I need to learn the parameters and indicators of a DCS aircraft. Does anybody else have a rudder that jerks to the left or right suddenly out of the blue? I know people have been complaining about her controls and trim, but I'm wondering if it's my Virpil stick and base(which I know are slightly off). Thanks.

Today, 27July2025 I updated DCS and my graphics card drivers and have not been able to launch DCSdcs.log. I have researched a few similar posts and 1) in my saved games options.lua I do not have the "Launcher" line item to set from 'true' to 'false' 2) I have done a cleanup and slow repair on the within the bin folder (not the bin-mt folder) 3) I deleted the contents within the fxo and metashaders2 folders (I left the empty folders in the location) & 4) I am trying to avoid renaming my saved games folder name to minimize the other actions that would need to happen to transfer bindings, etc. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance. My comp specs are: GPU 3080ti (Nvidia GeFrce RTX) CPU: intel i9 10th gen 10850k 3.6Ghz RAM: 64GB

Set them as Slider instead of axis. Also keeping the stick in your lap to force the tail wheel on the ground does help, but you always need to be gentle with wheel brakes.

I don't quite understand why they publish a roadmap for the F-16, F-18, and AH-64 with features they plan to implement. And then continually update this list as soon as a feature is implemented. But that doesn't exist for the Mi-24.
