For the first one, that sounds about right. But I remember trying to get him back to general search and it not working. He also does say in his voice line that he was "back to scanning again" which I assumed meant he was trying to do general search. He also acknowledges that the bandit is going down. The 2nd one he is still in wide mode though.

As I mentioned above, one base station mounted above head height, front and centre works ok for racing sims but it's not great for DCS. I've another base station on the way and will post results.

You can actually. Hence the referencing to that message system. When you open the box to type a message it enables access to a scroll bar IIRC (it is been a while I had to use it). Something more robust for both modes, Multiplayer and Singleplayer would be preferable. It is been a bump on the road to open the messages history while playing singleplayer and it is as well while playing in co-op multiplayer.

Heat Blur starts a new thread after the update usually so it makes sense to report your opinions or bugs in days and weeks after the DCS update. But there was no updates for F-14 module this time so better make your reports in the common Bugs&problems section. You can find internal module version in dcs.log but you don't need it for anything. If your DCS is updated all your modules are updated with it even if there are no new changes or additions.

Techniques in VR allows usage of reshade effects in VR rendering, instead of the 2d screen. Plus someoptions to render effects on a specific quad view region, or only in cockpit or outside cockpit. That’s frustrating because this isworking in my config... So could you please go to "debug option" and tick "debug message in log...", select also debanding, save mod option, relaunch game, go to cockpit, then go to "debug" VREM menu, push button "capture frame", set the option "display stencil mask" on, have a look in VR, set this option off and quit game. Then post here reshade.log, DCS_VREM.ini, DCS_VREM_techniques.ini as your "option.lua" file and report if you saw the mask (red, green, blues areas) on all eyes/all regions. -

Does anyone have a direct comparison? The Quest Pro is a very good headset and can be bought for a similar price to the PSVR2 (in the UK at least). The QP lenses are excellent. The PSVR2 has Fresnel lenses so how does the quality compare? -

Thanks( I know about that file), but thats just workaround, that is not systematic solution worth of mil sim like DCS suppose to be. -
@oz555 I‘m eyeballing the BSB2 as well, but one thing that scares me off is the lighthouse tracking, since up to now I have only used inside-out tracking headsets (G2 and QuestPro mainly with an excursion to the Pimax Crystal). I‘m really worried about how to set up those lighthouses and not lose tracking when looking to my 6 o‘clock during BFM etc… Note that I have a gaming chair with a high back. How does that work out for you? How is your setup in that regard?

Hello, I have a problem with "cold and dark" start in cold weather : I have the alarm C.AERO during the INS alignment. It happens only in cold weather (-10°C)... Any solution to turn it off ? Is it a bug ? Or it's because the Mirage can't operate in very cold climate ? Thk. @+ C.AERO.trk

I have two little clips that seems to show some undesirable behavior. This first one after the bandit is splashed and he loses the lock. He gets stuck in 5 mile range with the antenna pointed all the way down. Hi, the issue has nothing to do with network connectivity. Cannot open pipe error occurs when the user-level updater process waited for the admin-level process instance to connect to the pipe and it didn't happen. I could be that the OS privilege escalation dialog was not answered by the user in a reasonable time, triggering the timeout. thank you

Maybe I updated my thoughts regarding the sounds on another thread, but obviously not this one. Current sounds seem to be much better on the whole, and more environmentally immersive given the addition of the blade slap sounds. It’s really hard to hear any differences between the current sounds and real Mi-8 videos during startup or flying operations. I’m not sure if the sounds remain WIP, but after getting used to the differences compared to the previous sounds (which I also liked a lot), I think the current sounds are excellent. Again, I was perfectly happy with the previous sounds, but the new sounds seem more accurate and broader. After listening to several vids, I think even the apu sounds are accurate (if a little quiet). Somebody had mentioned a while back that the blade slap frequency was slightly off. I’m not sure that was ever resolved.
