  2. Seems like generally the F110s werent fitted as well for the Tomcat; most of them stayed on TF30s anyway. A bit ironic that despite all of that, the 30s had more issues with stalling. Guess they really like getting maximum, undisturbed ram air effect. Could be interesting to compare the fuel usage in mach 1.6 - 2 afterburner. Tho im too lazy for that currently.
  3. If the module is done, they should take the early access tag away then and call it released. But the module isn't done. It is entirely reasonable to expect developers to continue to invest man-hours into modules labelled "early access". On 17 September 2021, BINEWY stated AI like petrovich "is planned for later on in early access". Four years, it's not even possible to ask the navigator to tune a navaid nor is it possible to switch to navigator position and have an AI pilot maintain level flight. These are barebones features of a multicrew aircraft, far below the standard of others in the game and yet the mosquito doesn't even have that. Eagle Dynamics own website states "Early Access is an option for you to play this module in an early state, but it will be incomplete with bugs" As this module retains the early access label then by EDs own definition, it is still in an early state and WILL be incomplete with bugs. In terms of defining "abandoned". This is more difficult to do however the standard at least on Steam is as follows: An early access release is considered abandoned when developers have not released a new update in 12 months or more. I've gone back 29 changelogs, 1 year. In that time the only two additions or fixes have been made to the Mosquito. A warning horn has been fixed and a radio command to AI has been added. I haven't gone back further than 1 year as I gave up trying to find meaningful content being added to advance the module toward completion. Rudel, if you're satisfied with the module then wonderful for you. I'm not and it would appear others aren't either. I don't agree the thread is "dramatic" nor do I agree that expecting developers to complete modules is "unrealistic". Not only have there been no meaningful additions but repeated enquiries about ongoing development have gone unanswered.

  6. I don't think your DCS Mig-29 has gone through any sort manufacturing process So, it doesn't apply. Mine doesn't show any roll tendency after a Ctrl+T.
  7. For the RSBN, they are not "native" on the different airfields. Placing and activating one on an airfield you want to join is your own convinience. In my Air Force, when we wanted to land on a "fortune airfield" in the desert or in the hills in Africa, we used a mobile Tacan, like a RSBN in this case.

  10. same bug for me. I set up user curves to align physical detents to the military power value when i restart dcs, all is back to default.
  11. Can somebody explain me the use of creating RSBN Points and Target points in DTC? I did a mission in ME, placed a RSBN car (which is not avaiable for the syrian army btw), set a channel, set the RSBN in DTC and then? what is the benefit? Same for targetpoints. i can to select them in the plane, so what is the sense of this all? Thanks in advance
  12. In the Airdromes tab there's an entry for the runway PRMG channel, unless the runway has a default channel set in the map itself you have to set it to match the PRMG car you placed.
  13. Yes I have noticed issues with slant range also. As for the laser, once turned on it runs for 30 seconds (unless manually turned off). It then stays off for 32 seconds (can’t even be manually turned on), so you have to wait a bit sometimes.

  15. When selecting Radar, with the radar turned on and all switches set to the correct settings I am getting two vertical bars, much like the CC setting. Is anyone else getting this issue or have I missed something? Kind regards Simon

I was reading a bit of this thread and was thinking 'the F4 does a lot of the F111 thing on a smaller (and less computer assisted) scale' HB has officially F14-early/F4-DMAS, Eurofighter and A6, very likely F-14B(U), probably naval F-4 on their platter. Wouldnt get hopes up about an F111 in any appreciable timeframe, even IF HB would say theyd like to do it. That said... being mostly a solo player two seaters always felt like a drawback to me, but Jester 2 is so easy to use/powerful/even kinda immersive, I think a HB F111 would be quite interesting.

  22. This sounds like you fly in the low resolution area, not yet depicted in the game, ex. north parts. Try the modeled parts like East and South-West.
  23. Everybody who is flying the F16 on a more proficient level has his own MFD layout, which tends to be often very similar between people doing the same task in the F16 though. For example AA: Right MFD (Nav, MSL, DGFT mode) : HSI, TGP, SMS For example AG: Left MFD: HAD, TGP, FCR. Right MFD: HSI, WPN, SMS That creates the recurring task of setting the MFDs up every mission, especially repetitive on public servers, when you'd respawn often during a session. NAV, MSL, DGFT, AG are 4 separate MFD main modes, that remember their own setting, you have to set up 3 MFD sub modes each for every of the 4 main modes. Which means setting up 12 screens in total, worst case. In the real jet this will be set up via the DTC with one button press. At the moment we only have the option to use the external DTC mod. I attached a screenshot of the DTC mod functionality that covers most of what would be needed for EDs native DTC. As we dont have a roadmap for the ED DTC I can not check if this is already in the planning or if it probably will be missed, which would be very sad.

  25. Summary The a_set_carrier_illumination_mode script command only work in SP. If you call it in a MP session, nothing happens. Reproduce Start the mission. Take the blue Mission Commander slot. Press F9 to view the carrier. Bring up the comms, menu, other, Carrier Control, Recovery. Notice that in SP, the runway lights turn on, but in MP nothing happens. Remarks The ME carrier lights triggers work as intended. Can be used as a workaround. But requires a whole array of triggers in order to set all light modes.
