I buy all components at the local hardware shop (walking distance from where I live), and then build the system myself. They don't care about branding: as long as the item is within legal warranty, you get another one But then again we all have our preferred brands, and brands we tend to avoid...

I didn't want to start my own thread, so if you don't mind me adding something here- it seems the update removed 'mouse' as bindable in a few categories. In every module that supports it, I have my kneeboard toggle set one of the mice side buttons, as well as the comms menu. flying after the update, comms menu wouldn't open. So i checked and the mouse can no longer be bound in the communications category. Strangely enough the kneeboard toggle is still bound and the mouse binding hasn't been removed from it. Only a minor inconvenience but thought I'd inform you

That's what I gathered. But I was specifically referring to radio triggers and random conversations with Petrovich: if you take the long route, you never get told to switch to the Bagram Tower frequency. I just did the mission again (3rd time), this time taking the short route and the trigger to switch to tower was there.

Hi, This is correct behavior and this hasn't changed since initial release in 2022. The reason for this is explained in the FAQ section of the DCS AH-64D manual on page 651. thank you

It happened to me yesterday, the SA-11 was higlighted on RWR as actively tracking me, but there were no any warning sound.

В свое время, в этой модели была восхительной только внешняя визуальная модель. Ну и кабина была ничего. Но в то время! Сейчас на эту кабину больно смотреть. FM и системы, как-то не задались у разработчиков сразу. И потом никак не поправились. По этому поводу исписан весь раздел форума про Миг-21. С самого начала его выхода. Кто-то так обломался, что ушел с форума (уж очень любил этот самолет и очень ждал эту модель). Так же жестко обломался один реальный пилот реального Миг-21. О своем разочаровании он не раз писал. Для меня (подчеркну, что для меня), этот модуль, хоть он у меня есть - "не считается". Я на нем полетал немного и забросил. А вот A-10C и Ка-50 не бросаю уже десятилетиями! (Ну не десятилетиями, но больше 10 лет точно.) Су-27, Су-33, Су-25, F-15C, A-10A, и сейчас плюс еще два самолета. Это модели из комплекта "Горячие скалы". Они - неполноценные, упрощенные. Собственно и сами разработчики их называют упрощенными. Для сравнения можно взять упрощенный A-10A (все из тех же горячих скал) и A-10C, у которого мануал на 700 с лишним страниц. Если эти модели кажутся равноценными, то тут собсна и обсуждать нечего! P.S. Я и на Ми-29 никогда не летал серьезно, из-за того, что он упрощенный. На полноценном, думаю, полетаю долго! (Это чисто мое отношение. Никому свое мнение не навязываю. Меня всегда удивляло, как люди летают на упрощенных моделях годами. Ладно бы на начальном периоде. Но это чисто мое удивление. Мое мнение, которое я никому не навязываю )

Latter firm gave me quite good after market by refunding a 3 year old 2080 which developed suddenly some color errors. Still have my 4080s and it works well.

Hopefully that's just a typo Again, unless you want to drop the GPU slot to 8 lanes, you need to avoid M2_2 and M2_3. As I described above: Those two slots use chipset lanes which aren't shared with anything else. Also, if you want to install an additional M2 drive, you can get a PCIe M2 adapter card (~$15) and install it in the bottom PCIe slot. This slot uses four chipset lanes at PCIe 4 so you'd get full speed of any PCIe 4 drive. It requires you to buy the adapter card, but this would bring the total to three PCIe 4 drives (one each at M2_4, M2_5 and one on the adapter card), and one PCIe 5 drive (at M2_1), all running at full rated speed/no sharing. And you'd still have access to all four SATA ports as well, if you want/need to use those. Not as fast as M2 drives obviously, but still perfect for older/slower storage like HDDs and SATA SSDs you might want to reuse.

In my campaign run I got struck by those smokey sams several times and normal evasive maneuvers didn´t work for me too. The solution I found was to fly level with high speed and then suddenly pull the stick as hard as I can while flaring, just half a second or so before impact. This worked only if you fly low, are tally on the missile and it comes either from the side or front. Many ifs but then it worked every time and the missiles flew through under my jet.

Yeah, it's weird that "demands" trigger such a pushback here. One would think that an enterprise should be interested in "customer demands" as this is invaluable feedback on what customer needs to feel comfortable to continue spending their money.

Yes, I use the IHADSS in the right eye on VR only. Boresighting works fine for me this way.

The ATP does seem heavier (takes more to trim out the roll) and "draggier" than the old pod. The old pod is fantasy, though. -Ryan

So as customers we cant demand? A little list. I hope no jokes. Developers part of ED miles program. Check Developers part of the new ED files sharing policy since 2018. Unknown Plans to have DCS 2.5.3-2.9.x active and working on DCS servers in the future when modules like VEAO Hawk or Razbam are or will be deprecated. Unknown I think those demands are fair and logic, and important enough to be answered to us, customers, demanding info. Thanks
