I hope they give us an option to bind 2 engines per throttle axis
Someone replied to Cowboy10uk's topic in DCS: C-130J
I'm sure that I understand the question. The honeycomb bravo throttle works great, just like any other usb device in dcs. -
It was a considerable amount of work to implement. The main challenge is collision: how to avoid the player clipping through walls, the ground, or the interior of the cargo bay. I'm sure that ED has plans for their own feature of this type, but this version is distinct to the ASC C-130.

@STONE SKY Issue with crash to desktop on switching George to rockets has also been reported on the ED DCS Discord server. I am able to reproduce as well. Issue is with switching to the rockets which are the M151 ones with the M433 Resistance Capacitance (RC) Fuze. This does not occur for other rockets. I don't have your campaign so cannot confirm what the rocket loadout is for your 1st mission in this campaign. May help you though with identifying this issue on your end if this is the case. If you have a different rocket loadout than that then let me know and I'll see if I can replicate that and add to the bug report.

Yes. Just try to use DTOS with Mk82 and try to designate a target. No wind, perfect conditions. Bring your TGP just for double check the difference in designations. First designate with HUD only, DTOS is an in-built avionics mode designed to do that. And check how precise you are tossing some bombs. Then try correcting the designation with TGP and see your precision how much increases. Same thing with the A-CAL procedures. Try to fix a drifted INS on your reference point with HUD and you'll probably do a mess. If you fix it via TGP it will be a lot better. The real question is: is this misalign a weird bug or something crafted by ED intentionally?

Any insight on what exactly the conflict was? Or were there multiple? - Yesterday

Be careful what you wish for. MiG-29K adds more weight then thrust, performs overall worse

PSVR2 - now works with Eye Tracking and Quad Views!
Cytarabine replied to proxlamus's topic in Virtual Reality
I’ve removed the face gasket on my PSVR2. It doesn’t give the same view of your HOTAS that you get underneath or around the QP but it is helpful to orienting your hands to your controls particularly to flick switches on the throttle base. -
Not to mention altimeter is properly inaccurate
-
What about Sparrow? Against Phoenix, atleast you have missile tag that estimates the closure of a long range missile
-
@mla306 Yeah I can reproduce this as well, first time. @BIGNEWY can you report this to the devs please. Easy to reproduce. I just loaded the M151 rockets ones with the M433 Resistance Capacitance (RC) Fuze in the Instant Mission for Firing Range on Caucasus map. Had George switch to the rockets and crashed immediately after he said "Coming up rockets". Attaching my crash logs as well. Identical stack trace to this post, and the existing bug report in the ED DCS Discord bug reporting channel. dcs.log-20250911-232856.zip

I doubt it. There are still numerous model errors and the rear cockpit is untextured. We've been asking for years to get it updated and nothing has come of it. Just a few weeks ago the F-16 was deemed feature complete and left early access so I doubt ED will go back and fix it now. Upgrading the model and textures for a released module that most people already have won't make them money. The shiny new modules like Mig-29, F-15C, and F-35 will. Hell, look at the hornet. It has model and texture issues noted since early access almost 8 years later. Most of the textures are low resolution too. It needs updated more than the F-16 but neither will likely be fixed until ED sells a paid remaster for the F-16 and F-18 v2.0

Индикация ИЛС действительно такая маленькая?

Could you do the 19th in case you're done by then? It would be a very nice birthday present for me

Ok but this can be edited "easily" by those skilled in skin works. Other systems, FM etc. are up to the dev team.

Badger633 replied to DLEGION's topic in F/A-18C The Serpent's Head 2 Campaign
@DLEGION Firstly you will appreciate that this mission was made about four years ago and has been flown by thousands of pilots without a problem. So if it is not working correctly then it is either a new bug or something you are doing. Firstly not sure what you mean by heading not stored. If you mean to create the shorter alignment process then that is available in this mission if you press the correct button on the HSI at the correct time. If this is not it please clarify. The first targets were given you via way points unlike the last which you have to enter the coordinates yourself. So make sure you are using the correct precise coordinate format. This video of this actual mission shows you how. Make sure you do exactly the same. Also below is a complete fly through of the mission by Flying Kenny. Hope this helps, if your still stuck send me your track so I can check things out. -
Spawned Farp doesn't refuel/rearm
kira_mikamy replied to Fabiano-VIKING's topic in Scripting Tips, Tricks & Issues
Yes, if you need the ground crew, adding just one Humvee is enough. I did the same thing years ago, I guess you’re using Cribob’s old CTLD. I’d recommend switching to the MOOSE one so you can do cooler stuff, but in any case just adding a Humvee will be enough. -
In reality, the RIO would be in charge of the whole intercept, including launching missiles. The pilot would only take over when closing to WVR. Since that's too much to ask from Jester, more callouts is something that's worth considering. Would've been nice if he could run a few "canned" intercepts at pilot's request. A stern conversion, for example, is a fairly well attested technique that's discussed on open source materials. Since it can be ran by checklist, Jester should be able to do it.

LockOn Greece | DCS World Greece and Joint Air Task Force (JATF) are launching their massive Iniochos campaign in the map of Syria. In a 30v30 environment, Red and Blue side fight over a vast territory. Jets, helicopters, naval assets, AWACS, ground commanders, ATC/GCI and human JTACs are in place for victory. Both sides will have a preset battlefield. Red side will operate with F-16, F-18, F-15E, F-14B, MiG-29S, Su-27, J-11 and JF-17 along with CH-47F, UH-1H, Mi-8 and Mi-24P while Blue will have F-16, F-18, F-15E, F-14B, AV-8B, A-10C II, AH-64D, OH-58D, CH-47F, UH-1H, Mi-8, Mi-24P and KA-50 III. Helicopters on both sides can make use of the Dynamic Cargo to resupply bases with ammunition while Blue will have a CTLD capability for limited unit deployment. Ground commanders can move and operate all ground and naval assets as well as MQ-9 Reaper drones for recon purposes and mark targets on the F10 map for strike packages. CSAR option is available via DML scripts. Be aware, things on the battlefield might change as the scenario unfolds.
