  1. Past hour
  2. Это применимо только для посадочного курса . При полете на запрограммированный ППМ только одна толстая стрелка. Но принцип двойных поправок все равно остается.
  3. Props to whoever came up with that backstory. Very nice.
  4. Hi, takeoff and landing schedule the leading edge flaps differently.
  5. As anyone found a work around to fix for this issue?
  6. To be honest I don't remember. The one that I ended up most happy with and lasted the longest was some Logitech joystick, with throttle slider, joystick with twist axis integrated: Extreme 3D Pro or something.
  7. I did not know that. Do you know what this means practically? Are there effects that can't be simulated by the Direct X drivers, or is this an advantage? Being supported by Direct X explains why it has such wide software adoption, but if it's a limited toolset to work with then it might cause it to have lower fidelity FFB. If the newer sticks have higher fidelity FFB effects that might be the motivation I need to finally retire the old girl...
  8. Hi all! Anyone know if there will be a Steam pre-order, and in that case when?
  9. The map MFD has been broken for... 4 years now? They just don´t care.
  10. They are INNER OUTTER NDBs Also if u want to find ADF(NDB) stations away from airport, they are usually icons like this on the map(usually ended by Khz) VOR works if ur equipment support ADF in VOR bandwidth (108.0 MHz to 117.95 MHz)(I'm not a 29 pro so not sure about this for Mig29,afaik only few aircraft in DCS have raidos support this....)
  11. Really you had one die on you? Was it a Red Button Version? Mine has been bulletproof, and it has tens of thousands of hours on it at this point. The twist died within years of me getting it, but I don't like twist axis on joysticks anyway. I'd be willing to buy a replacement and retire it (strongly considered the Moza,) but there is really no replacement for it. If you want desktop Force Feedback without having to mount your controller, your choices are Red Button Sidewinder FFB, or a bunch of far inferior options that are just as old. I've heard some talk on forums about this being because of a patent troll, but I'm guessing the Sidewinder was just a weird product. It's also the reason that FFB is so widely supported in software, so you are welcome.
  12. Maybe worth noting, that the MS Sidewinder is limited to DirectX effects. Whereas Rhino and Moza rely on a third party application and DCS telemetry to provide a lot of the effects/functions.
  13. Like this one? https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3305909/ Skin is pretty old, it probably has the nose serial numbers bug, but it is easy flixable
  14. The second check box was Techniques Only For VR Views. With both of them checked, Reshade didn't work for me, although it could also be that I wasn't running in Mirrored mode. I found a user who had created a preset for Reshade in the 2D mode that created the visor effect using Shadows, Midtones, Highlights and Contrast, Brightness and Saturation effects. I don't see those listed on the Home tab. Here is the preset file from his mod in case you're interested. Edit: I found the link to the Reshade shaders used in the mod. https://github.com/prod80/prod80-ReShade-Repository Could the two mentioned be modifed to work in VR? PLASMA_PRESET.ini
  15. They are 110kV "Donaumasten" (Danube towers/masts), which are typically around 25m tall.
  16. I do realise that: I had one back in the old days - though it didn't last very low, sadly.
  17. It's an artifact of using an off the shelf flaps panel. In reality there is only two positions of flaps, in and out. Both TO and Land buttons do the same thing.
  18. Unfortunately I did a cleanup that wiped my screenshots and track files. I will spend some time to try to replicate this and post a track file. What happens to me occasionally is a baked in hard right roll. At first I thought it was a stall related to carrier take off, but it even happens with very light overall weight, and follow the same procedure with the same loadout back to back produces a very easy takeoff at the same indicated air speed. The thing that solidified this for me was an instant action free flight in which I immediately rolled right upon start. The stick was visually centered, the ailerons were visually centered on the wing, the trim was centered but the plane was rolling hard right. Eventually I was able to trim it out using about 80-90% of my left aileron trim. Again, I'll try to provide a track file if/when this happens next. I had some but they got wiped. In talking to a few others they have experienced this also.
  21. The low taper straight hair style pairs perfectly with an A10 haircut. It’s clean, sharp, and adds a smooth modern touch.
  22. I have a 4080. The test should be done in a simple single mission as important is to see how much the quality of the plane can be pushed in order to have a baseline. I have as I said 30ish fps on Mariana Modern. About the same on Syria and maybe a bit better in Caucasus. Minimal AI. No battles and no dogfights.
  23. Do ADF frequencies correspond to the VOR frequencies of the airfields?
  24. Yes, I'm hoping the Fulcrum will be added soon too. It's weird how 'flat' it feels without it when you're so used to the feedback through the seat.
