Be careful with buying memory to upgrade later, I had 32 gig of corsair 5600 DDR5, about a year later I bought the exact same 32 gig memory, even the bar code was the same on the packaging, but when I installed it, it had Hynix chips, and my older memory had Samsung chips, I now had 64 gig but it wouldn't even run at the basic speed of 4800 I think it is. I had to return the 32 gig Hynix memory and buy 2X32 gig to give myself the 64 gig I wanted. It was something ridiculous like 48% off so it wasn't too bad. The best thing is, now I can F10 to the map as many times as I like without the game crashing or freezing.
  3. As far as I know, this is not related to the script itself, but with TM driver configuration. The fact is that once a TARGET script run (either via Script Editor or GUI editor), the driver automatically "shutdown" the physical devices so they are not visible anymore in games... In your cas, it seem that the Throttle was not properly "shutdown" and still available along the virtual device. I can't remember where, but I believe remembering that there is an option, maybe within TARGET editor, to allow physical device to not be disabled. You may look for that, or, maybe, simply purge then reinstall the drivers.
  4. It is a good question. My case is that a moving plane is on the field, and I am able to "lock" it with the sidewinder tone since it is an infrared seeker within the certain range. I need to try for the plan has landed case.

  11. You can see the throttles that control the engine propeller blades next to the thrust levers. So this is a modernized H version. The J version lacks these throttles, and the blade rotation is controlled by the FADEC.
  12. Cool. May I ask, what are your settings for Brightness and Local Dimming in Pimax Play for DCS? I think DCS (and MSFS 2024 for that matter) are very bright, and perhaps could use some more contrast - at least for daytime. I have reduced brightness to 99 like in the video above I posted. Local dimming I have set to max. I reduced the gamma from 2.2 to 2.1 in DCS graphic settings, which I think gave the picture some more contrast, darkened a little bit. Tallymouse says in his video that it is bright "up there".. and yeah - guess so. But I'd like to know other Super owners settings, how they handle "all that brightness"

  15. Wow! There's a saying that goes, "Nobody thinks about you as much as you think about yourself". If you take the time to make mods for ANY game then people who use them mostly do it because they think it's a good mod/idea. If the maker expects gratitude and plaudits from every one of these people then I would (respectfully) suggest that the maker is probably in the wrong game. Personally I love making skins, especially for WW2 planes and there have been many downloads of them by people (like, in the hundreds). I actually do them for my own enjoyment and, like @Rudel_chw above, don't really care one way or the other if people use them or not. I merely post them just in case someone can find a use for them. I would just take it easy and maybe re-assess why you actually do these things... Peace Rap
  16. Well, not absolutely necessary but I thought it might be a handy way to integrate the manual into DCS.
  17. Probably not, as DCS thinks this is a helicopter, so it will always behave like a helicopter. But others are welcome to test it out and try different AI settings. I did not add the kneeboard thinking it would not be necessary. But I can add it in easily if desired.

  19. Cos the devs don't fancy dev'ing them any more - pretty simple! Who knows what may happen in the future, but I do know that the questions don't change, or speed up, the answers sooo.... Enjoying and spreading the joy of the OH-6A might tho - love the videos @CommandT!

  21. Mission 11: I don't know why I have a map from mission 10 in my kneepboard and the reconnaissance photos are missing. The same thing happens in mission 12. I checked the campaign files. I'm comparing it to the PDF document that came with the campaign.
  22. Just in case anyone is interested - There is a "Problem" and i have had complaints from users who downloaded the Marianas WW2 Train Pack. The "Problem" is the Trains are not able to be Deactivated. This is a "DCS problem" - E.G - When a train arrives at a destination users cannot Deactivate and make the train Dissapear ( it works in old ST version but not in MT Version ) The trains just continue out over the ocean or over the grass for ever ! I have reported this issue several times but it still needs fixing. I even showed "Wags" DCS trains flying over a SuperCarrier. Also My "DML" Train Time Table Schedule Sequencer and Signalling System does not work anymore because the trains will not Deactivate and Clone. There is Marianas WW2 / Normandy British Train Pack and the Cold war Germany Train Packs i was working on. However because of this situation regretably the Marianas WW2 Train Pack is pulled from the DCS Files site untill the Deactivation Issue is fixed in an update. Wait and see i guess ?

  26. Yes, this can happen, and has happened to me once in the past. It was during a long LOWOS campaign mission. I was not on the DED page, and some other weird things were happening along side, particularly the TGP also became unusable, as it would, uncommanded, change it's orientation from looking at a steerpoint or markpint, and instead look some random direction over the horizon to the north. I could cursor zero back to the steer/mark point, but it would only stay looking at that spot for a few seconds, and then re-orient itself to the [seemingly] random direction. I hypothesized that the HAD is interfering with the TGP, as it is intended to do when you lock an emitter, but instead the HAD was commanding the TGP to look at [something else]. I suspect there is something happening if an emitter "despawns" while locked with the HAD that might cause some sort of error. Which means it's a scprit that is part of the mission causing the problem, and is therefore, supposedly, outside of the responsibility of eagle dynamics to fix or address (understandable). This may not be the exact cause but I suspect there is something going on that is similar to my hypothesis. If I had had the where-with-all I would have tried turning my HTS off and seeing if the TGP went back to normal, but I was to frustrated at the time. So my question to you guys in here experiencing the problem, did you notice if your TGP was behaving normally or abnormally when you were having HAD issues?
