  2. Thank you so much for the Balkans map, you made me really joyful, I will be finally able to fly over my country and truly experience DCS as a flight simulator. I was using the Syria map the most because it was closest to the Balkan vibe, now I will finally be able to use the map which means something to me. Buying as soon as it is possible to purchase. Tha map will be awesome, especially for the Croatian Adriatic coast with hundreds of islands, and also not to forget Boka Kotorska bay in Montenegro. We now definitely must have some Yugoslavian and Serbian liveries for MiG-29. And the map is even more appropriate for WWII scenarios.

  4. I checked the autologin tickbox every time, but the login window appears every time I restart DCS. This was not the case in the past, when everything went smoothly. However recently I had to restart DCS several times in a row and since then I have this annoying problem. What is even worse is that somehow my performance has dropped in some missions (from 40 to 10 FPS). I have not added any mods nor did I change any settings. DCS seems to behave very erratically now.
  5. I don't know if this was reported before but MTV truck is not working for FARP operations When asking for rearming via radio menu there is no response on multiplayer. Using M939 Heavy works.

  8. I suggest using MOOSE if you need to handle complex trigger logic. I’ve completely stopped using the Mission Editor’s built-in triggers..they’re just poorly designed. Anyway, a Lua Predicate condition must return either true or nil to be considered valid. It simply executes the scripting engine code written in the text box. The code must include the statement return true for the condition to evaluate as true , that’s basically it. For example: return timer.getTime() > 300 This means the trigger will activate once 300 seconds have passed since the mission started. In short, it’s a way to create conditions that don’t exist natively in the Mission Editor. But be aware: this method checks the condition every second, so it can become a performance killer if you run complex calculations. In that case, it’s better to use MOOSE with a scheduler instead.

  10. Yeah, I remember the use of Piacenza San Damiano appearing frequently in the news during the air war. Also, the Germans regularly had transport flights between Landsberg am Lech (near Munich) and Skopje (Macedonia) using their C-160s. I understand OnReTech's notice that they give their 2026 release deadline a higher priority than the expansion of parts of the map or the addition of airbases. Nevertheless, I would love to see an expansion of the high/medium detailed area to the north-west (to include Piacenza San Damiano / Milano and Landsberg am Lech / Munich) and to the south-east (to include all of Albania, Macedonia and a part of Northern Greece, similar to the Balkans map in Falcon 4.38). Also, it would be great to see more of the Italian land mass included into the high/medium detailed area, especially between Bologna and Naples. Needless to say, this theater will be high on my list when it will be released. Thank you for taking this on, OnReTech, and good luck with this project!
  11. Does anyone have any good OH6 Marianas combat missions using the Vietnam Asset Pack? I don't really want to deal with all the required mods for ITJ. WW2 Marianas would be even better. The missions that came with the OH6 seem broken (don't include the client OH6) and don't have the floating farps...

  13. Wow, this thread was quite for a while, and it wakes again. More powerful CPUs will be introduced from either AMD or Intel next year... the CPU bottleneck is no longer an issue for a quite while (hope) ...
  14. @OnReTech Hi, thank god for this map first and foremost. I think I know the answer, but what led you to making the map current(it's 2004 at most), and not 90s?
  15. The Germany map will cover that area...why include it in the Balkans? And as they said it will be from 1991 to 2001, so not current..

  19. Unable to reproduce. Date set in 1900. INS can update on STD HDG and TCN. A/C coordinates seems correct on GND at both locations after complete shut down and restart. Note to devs : It seem the LEF stuck BUG is gone for Cold A/C now and only happens on Hot A/C. INS_NoGPS.trk

  21. Was "bald" angeht, kann ich dir leider keine Hoffnungen machen. Ich weiß nicht, ob du es mitbekommen hast, aber ich habe diesbezüglich meinem Frust gegenüber ED vor einiger Zeit bereits Luft gemacht. Die Veröffentlichung von STORMFRONT hatte nahezu ein Jahr gedauert, denn ED hat es immer wieder vergessen. Nun kann ich zwar nachvollziehen, dass bei all der Arbeit an DCS Dinge mal durchrutschen können, allerdings musste ich für mich neben dem Frust darüber auch praktische Konsequenzen ziehen. Diese waren nicht nur finanzieller Natur, sondern eben auch ganz simpel eine Zeitfrage, wie viel Zeit ich in ein Projekt investiere, das nach Fertigstellung womöglich wieder Monate lang liegen bleibt. Auch war und ist das Interesse an STORMFRONT, sagen wir mal, nicht gerade überwältigend, weshalb ich aktuell viel Zeit darauf investiere, diese Kampagne zu puschen. Die gute Nachricht: Ich habe die Arbeit an der Mi-8-Kampagne wieder aufgenommen und es werden wohl noch dieses Jahr erste Infos dazu kommen. Ich möchte meiner Art und Weise, wie ich Missionen erstelle, jedoch treu bleiben, und die dreiköpfige Besatzung stellt mich, was den Start-up anbelangt, vor gewaltige Herausforderungen. Diese sind aktuell nahezu gelöst, und es beginnt der "einfachere" und spaßigere Teil der eigentlichen Missionen. Da ich in meinem etwas verschränkten Hirn jedoch zu der Erkenntnis gekommen bin, dass nicht nur ich, sondern wohl viele die Mi-8 lange Zeit nicht oder noch nie geflogen sind, füge ich aktuell zusätzlich eine "Trainingsoption" ein, die zu bedienende Schalter und Hebel, wenn gewünscht, markiert. Was die Lokalisierungen anbelangt, füge ich zu Englisch, Französisch und Deutsch auch Russisch hinzu. Englisch und Russisch auch in Sachen Audio. Deutsch behalte ich mir als Option und habe dazu noch keine Entscheidung getroffen. Aber noch dieses Jahr werde ich erste Infos zu Mi-8 Kampagne posten und das Tempo in der Entwicklung anziehen. Realistisch erachte ich Ende 2026, als Termin für eine Fertigstellung, wenn es dann veröffentlicht wir ? Das steht in den Sternen Aber die Hoffnung stirbt bekanntlich zuletzt.
