Btw, if you hear an AI voice, it might be youtubes auto translation feature. I noticed it being enabled by itself a few times recently.

E.g. to calculate the distance at which SPO registers his side you had to know the peak output of power if transmitter. The aperature of antenna is easy to assume. And this output had to be strong enough to reach the target, reflect, travel back to seaker, so it can track the target the returned signal of certain level against the noise. This defines earliest time when the missile cam go pitbul. In case of SPO reception, signal needs just to be received and passed through receiving antenna (which has some gain) and pass the threshold needed for SPO to register. In turn the SPO would get much stronger signal than the seaker. Clealrly internal noise and input sensitivities are not the same (as well as antenna gains), but in radar equation distance and output power are the strongest factors.

Ну что. Тогда не взлетайте по вертолетному вне зоны влияния земли с площадки на высоте 2 800 метров. Ваше, в принципе, право.

Great, thanks for sharing!

В твоём чердаке явно завелась моль. Пора бы пройти курс валерьянотерапии.

Zabuzard started following Can't get it up (landing gear)
-
Its likely loss of hydraulic pressure in the corresponding circuit. With each touch and go the gear will also take much longer to move. Can tell more with a working track file ofc.

Aww thank you!

Может, если убрать износ двигателей.

Hi @MAESTR0 Any chance you could treat us with some teaser WIP screenshots?

Yes but given the fact that AIM-120 was practically based on white papers, I assume you have used the conclusions on it, in order to infer on what SPO-15 was capable of?

Charrua started following DCS C-130 Start-Up Procedure
-
Not that I am aware, a white paper is more focused. These were answers to some community questions.
-
Alex_White_85 started following Resources for Mission Designers
-
NineLine started following HSI only spins, doesn't follow A/C , Little rant and Game crashes when joining cpg seat (multicrew)
-
On behalf of all those people, we say thanks if you have taken the time to come on these forums and help someone out, we at ED certainly appreciate it!
-
Will there be a whitepaper?
-
Hello I just wanted to say that due to circumstances I have approx 200x more hours in my phantom t-shirt than in the jet and while that makes me sad, it is a very very fine shirt well done your designers

Wishlist: F-14 RIO calls "Going Pitbull"
scommander2 replied to scommander2's topic in DCS: F-14A & B
I totally agree @Despayre's comment and the TID repeater is a good resource for a pilot. Just in case the pilot is busy with the SAM launch, a red opponent shows at six suddenly... etc... RIO can help up a bit. But, it is okay and it is just a wishlist. -
Maneuvering On The Ground With Differential Braking
GeoS72 replied to AG-51_Razor's topic in Bugs and Problems
I wouldn't call Spud's video recommendation a bug fix. That's more like masking the symptom. Not to mention, will you spend the time to edit all the training mission and scenario files after each DCS update? It may be viable for mission creators in a multiplayer environment. However, even with a small amount of wind, steering is hard to control. I would also argue that having a small amount of wind at 33ft helps to dissipate any smoke over the airfield. Otherwise, the smoke will bellow and completely mask the landing area. I do hope that Magnitude 3 remedies this problem sooner than later. As previously stated, I will not fly the Corsair until this bug is resolved. -
Any updates or Beta release of Ford Class carrier, is the latest release the Alpha?

investigating Game crashes when joining cpg seat (multicrew)
NineLine replied to Keyser1800's topic in Bugs and Problems
Please supply the most recent crash files you are seeing, thanks! -
From the team: EGI implementation is still a work in progress. It is not intended to be operated, and he should expect a "fault" in the warning list. Future updates will refine this.
