Unfortunately DML seems to be malfunctioning after the last update. CSAR stopped working. Upon pilot touching the ground, it shows a message saying CSARmanager not loaded mission aborted.

As title, tried to use this new feature for the first time today, saved the mission, but when I loaded it, it just had me started again from scratch..... Is it working?

You would be better off using Godlike or Ultra and leave PD at 1.0. The next thing I would suggest is using Quad Views Foveated Rendering. This will give you a performance boost and allow you to run a higher resolution in the centre of view. I used QVFR in fixed mode with my Pico 4 for about a year before I bought a Quest Pro. BTW you can pick up a used QP for about £300-400 on eBay if you want to try out Dynamic Foveated Rendering.

Da man in DCS auf Sicherheitsmargen verzichten kann und bei Bedarf mit 5% fuel (unlimited) starten - würde mich eher wundern wenn nicht.... Aber mehr Spaß wird es vermulich machen, wenn die Kiste bis zum Limit beladen geflogen wird. Mir jedenfalls.

Thanks for checking! When I did a quick track, it wouldn't happen, so I tried a cold start. Things worked fine until they didn't. I don't know what triggered it. If you're not seeing it, that makes me wonder if it's a "system setting" on my end, or some sort of "cache" is getting full. Good to know I'm not alone! A track would be a big help. Thanks! The response speed is very good in my view if you pull the leavers all the way. In fact I had to dial it back several notches as I was nearly thrown out of the seat when crashing. A VR headset is a must, I don't think you will get the immersion with a flat screen.

my understanding is that the mod is completely standalone, you don't need any other mods to use it (I think).

I tested Godlike inside of Virtual Desktop (VD) but now I am running High (RTX 3070) since I have a RTX 3080, but perhaps I should try to adjust it up again? I so pleased with the multiplayer framerate I got (the post above this one) so I dont know if I dare to change anything again

I'd love to know this as well. I've tried this mapping on PvP Cold War servers with decidedly mixed results.

Not a direct answer but you can disable the taxi crew in super carrier options. Or iirc there is a teleport keybind that should put you into the parking spot if stuck/ not working

Hello all! I wanted to improve my multiplayer performence on my Quest 3S and managed to get solid 72 FPS on Contention multiplayer server with 24 players logged in. My play test session had a duration of 30 min and the FPS did not drop one single time, it was rock solid. I was piloting the F-18 Hornet from Eagle Dynamics and Contention server used the Syria map. Please see my pictures below: 1. I tried to take a picture with my mobilephone inside my VR-headset (through the lenses) but I could not get a good image. So I had to take picture above my VR-headset and on my monitor (showing the VR-view in 2D). On the top left corner you can see the FPS. On the top right corner you can see Contention server messages and in center the player list. 2. The second picture is a close-up photo from my mobilephone on the FPS (Frame rate). 3. This is the settings I used inside of Virtual Desktop. I increased VR Desktop Rate and VR Bitrate on the sliders (I increased them with atleast 100%). 4. Inside the Nvidia Control Panel I chose the DCS client and then changed power settings for DCS from Energy Saving Mode to Maximal Power. 5. The last image is my graphics settings inside of DCS, in the Settings tab.

Thanks, but I think you misunderstood, my main priority isn't CA, it's their AI performance. Thus, having the more realistic radars is my main priority. If I wouldn't be able to find a way to implement them together with player control, I would choose the more advanced radar features.

Hello again Qcumber! You won't belive this! I managed to get rock- solid -stable : 72 FPS in multiplayer on Contention Server! On my Quest 3S!!!! To prove I am not joking with you all, I have taken pictures posted below 1. The first picture shows my photo from my mobilphone, I tried to take the picture inside the VR-headset but it was impossible to get a good image. On the picture you can see in the left top corner the FPS. You can also see on the top right corner Contention server text messages and in the middle is the server list with the players. 2. Second picture is a close-up photo from my mobilephone on the FPS. 3. This is changes I made in Virtual Desktop. I increased on the slider my VR Bitrate and Desktop Rate (I increased it with 100%). 4. In the Nvidia Control Panel I selected DCS and then changed the power setting (for DCS client) from Energy Saving to Maximal Power. 5. Last picture is my DCS Settings inside the simulator in the Settings Tab.

Есть и проверку проходят, зависит от сервера. Так же у нас уже есть практически готовая кабина, но её же надо лично вам обязательно засрать? Тоже позволю вставить не менее остроумную цитату: "Не трогай то, что уже работает".

Moin, Mal wieder GPU. Würde mir gerne für VR eine neue GPU zulegen. Leider kann ich nicht aus dem vollen schöpfen und muss Kompromisse machen. Finanziell würde ich so im Rahmen einer 5070ti sein. Ich schwanke zwischen einer 5070ti und Radeon 9070. Eigentlich würde ich eher in Richtung Nvidia gehen, da DCS wohl diesen Hersteller in VR wohl lieber mag. Andererseits scheint sich bei AMD wohl der Treiber verbessert zu haben und ich lese nun öfters, dass die 9070 Besitzer recht zufrieden sind mit DCS und VR. Die Frage. Hat hier jemand zufällig Erfahrung mit den beiden Karten ? Und kann ganz klar aus Erfahrung eine Empfehlung geben ? Oder vielleicht doch noch bis Ende 2025 warten und schauen was kommt und dann eventuell nochmals sparen? Frank
