[REPORTED]PG Airbase/Airport Takeoff from ramp issue
David A Sell replied to cailean_556's topic in Bugs and Problems
NECRO, I am shocked this has not been addressed yet in 2025. I cannot place large Aircraft on the ramp at Kish INTL. -

Hey Tobse, Have you already reached out to our tech support regarding the head tracking issue?

F-16 Arctic Thunder - Read this before playing
Tophatter14 replied to Reflected's topic in F-16C Arctic Thunder Campaign
Question- what if the player wants to skip all the crew chief scripts? Just start the jet and taxi? Sometimes I'm just not that interested in taking 20 mins to run BITs etc. I get enough of that at work. -
Let's get it going with what we got

You already have the latest firmware installed — v1.0.18 (Crystal Light). For the Crystal Super, the latest firmware is v1.0.8.
-
yea, but we really need ai export versions of fighters such as the mig-23mf for Syria and Iraq. Giving them the MLD makes them too powerful.
-
Absolutely. 3 main suggestions below. In the video, I time stamped (1st, 2nd, 3rd suggestion). I inserted real world footage of the below suggestions if you need examples (not my personal videos). Have you looked into maritime insertions with RHIBs (Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats) or Zodiacs. Would you be interested in it? Would you be willing to look into rolling insertions and extractions in the Desert with wheeled units such as Hummers, ATV's Ect? This was used in Afghanistan and Iraq with Special Operations and would be a first in DCS and 100% applicable to the maps we have. The C-130 will play a pivotable role in DCS Afghanistan and Iraq. You are the first to create the first person walk around experience in DCS. The C-130 was essential in all SOCOM insertions (HALO/HAHO) into Afghanistan and Iraq. Would you be willing to be the first dev to invest time in making a small JTAC/CCT team, AI or Playable for utilization in DCS. These units could be deployed to lase for other aircraft and then extracted by players using a number of helo modules. If first person has been implemented successfully with the C-130 (looked awesome in the trailer), I feel this presents another opportunity to capitalize on an untapped area in DCS. A small JTAC or CCT team would be a solid first intro for expanding ground operation but not going full shooter. It would allow coordination with other aircraft and be a solid addition to C-130 creating the most realistic simulation of Halo or HAHO jumps. I can only imagine the Hype of us VR players walking to the ramp with each other at 22K and having a player load master give the signal to jump. The C-130 has a real opportunity to make that special in my opinion based on what I have seen thus far. There are plenty of Vets out there that would probably be more than willing to help you get it right.

The mission worked quite well for me. I'm not sure what problem you're encountering. Any mods that you have installed? You may want to disable those.

Mission 3 trigger problem - Huey Last Show
SorelRo replied to HueyPilot15's topic in UH-1H The Huey Last Show Campaign
I'll check it and see if there is a problem, most of the time after updates, AI is breaking, this is not something I can predict, so I have to spend time, just like you said in your colorful expression and fix a problem that is not created by me, or fix something that a user may have encountered. As soon as i have a resolution I'll publish it here. Also, there's always the option to skip the mission. - Today

Lockheed Martin has launched an updated civilian version of its C-130J Super Hercules transport, and expects to receive its first order from a customer later this year. https://www.flightglobal.com/lockheed-launches-civilian-version-of-c-130j/112319.article I would like to see a civilian version of the aircraft, or at least a livery.

Maneuvering On The Ground With Differential Braking
Cgjunk2 replied to AG-51_Razor's topic in Bugs and Problems
Maybe using the word "feel" wasn't the best word choice. What I meant to say is that the tail wheel does not free-wheel caster, which then requires that the airplane be operated in a manner that is not at all what you would experience in planes that have fully castering tailwheels. Of course, there is no way to model actual feel, but I think it's important that the airplane steers in a way conceptually consistent with what is physically expected on taildraggers with free-wheeling castering tailwheels. The corsair module has been in development for over a decade...the amount of details in the visual modeling is jaw-dropping, and it's obvious much love was put into this so far. I'm not expecting "zero bugs" at release. I'm sure the developer wants to address the issues/bugs that will come up, as nobody that has crafted something like this module would be content to leave it in EA. I just don't think people should be content with accepting this bug just because they can manage to turn it by blasting a few hundred horsepower through the prop, or because simming ground handing is hard. Just the opposite, I hope this bug is prioritized because it's directly affects the operation of the plane on a basic level. -

P-47 stall speed with flaps up is 99kts or thereabouts. Going vertical for a 2000ft altitude gain then nosing over for level flight without losing much more than 100ft in the process at 83kts with flaps up, two bombs, and two bazooka rocket racks is a violation of physics.

reported One or more cores reaching 100%
scommander2 replied to 104th_Money's topic in Game Performance Bugs
Does it mean that all available CPUs can be opted in the render core rather than DCS defaults the few specific CPUs Thanks. There is my research about "exclusiveMainRenderCore". The search mentions that: Since Intel 11th gen+ with two different cores: For AMD, there is no P/E cores. I think that DCS has handled this matter already. According to the dcs.log, both, render/common, cores should be assigned with P-Cores only. -
Campaign for DCS OH-58D: "Through the desert dust"
Critter replied to YoYo's topic in DCS: OH-58 Kiowa
Just finished the campaign, it was great. Thanks for putting it together. I admit that mission 3 took several and I do mean several attempts to figure out. Also helped me learn more about the Kiowa. Really enjoyed the whole campaign. Looking forward to getting into your Hind campaign. Thanks again!- 95 replies

ABRIS before 1994 (no GNSS) question
Weta43 replied to tn_prvteye's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark 3
It requires GLONASS (Not the US GPS) which should have limited availability (Russia & Environs) from 82, and full availability by 1995: Then it gradually lost coverage until it was re-prioritised: -
I hadn't played DCS for a couple of months and after updating it I noticed it was looking very washed out in the OG Crystal. That improved a bit with the Super (all stock settings). IL2, on the other hand, superb levels in all regards.
