  1. Past hour
  2. You're probably seeing ghosting from DLAA/DLSS. Either change to MSAA or check this special autoexec setting:
  3. Glad my tutorial video helped you out
  4. Thank you for the track, the team will check and tweak if necessary.
  5. Obviously it was made in Poland for Poles, so why would they use other language? Are we still on MiG-29 case?
  6. Remember ED has making a F-15C FF
  9. The actual flat maps has none that capability and require rebuild with the future "Whole Earth Technology".
  10. In nato that is? So, can you consider french worse and less professional than average nato pilot because their cockpits are in french? Only a few posts ago I posted 3 images. A Lim-5 with lables in polish, a baade 152 with german writings and a L-39 with chech ones...
  11. If US sold an aircraft to Germany, Italy or any other sattelite country - I get it, you fly with what you got. The question was why not build your own military aircraft with cockpits in your language. There is no doubt that English is as important to nato countries militaries as russian in WP, but what speaking has to do with your own instruments And labels? Btw, in FC3 german Bitching Ursula speaks German. Does it speak English IRL?
  12. That's nonsense. If a military or commercial pilot was not able to speak and understand basic aviation English, he wouldn't belong in a cockpit in the first place. Speaking English in aviation is a matter of professionalism. Exactly. The L-39 cockpit was labelled in Russian for all the other Warsaw Pact nations too, not only for Russia, because Russian was the lingua franca for the Warsaw Pact and the only aviation language there.
  13. This should have been fixed in yesterdays update for the FF MiG-29A. Mind that this is a FC subforum.
  14. It was not 21st inclusion century, especially in the east where people were forced to learn russian anyway and pilots just used what was given to them. So it did not has to be translated, they still had to get to know the aircraft as it was. Even in present times anyone that's smart enough to be given access to the military radio is expected to know english, especially those that have a slightest chance to go abroad for NATO training/meeting or host one.
  15. Syrian MiG29 doing CAS against ISIS forces. The Target area was some 70nm away, and looking at the nice fuelgage, it tells me I have 80nm range.. So a few kg of fuel to blow up stuff then bail out? Luckily once I was a at 25k feet and rolled the throttles down to about 80% and my range shot up for 60nm to around 180. I found the CCIP use very easy, the MiG-29 likes to put warheads to foreheads. The extreme low stamina from stores and fuel is what makes this not a great CAS aircraft. I already have fuel angst in the F-16, the MiG29 is twice as bad. I managed to get 3 attacks out of 2 rocket pods and 2 cluster bombs, as well as some strafing runs. I was only over the battlefield for 10 minutes, and in that time I got several hard kills on armor, infantry and soft skin vehicles, even took out a L39 that ISIS had captured. So she is effective. Just too bad you can’t even select 1 and 1 bomb or 1 and 1 rocket pod.

  17. @MAXsenna I only reinstalled the map through the module manager via the launcher. So fly a mission on afghan and copy the log?
  18. Well, people also use srs instead of discord which is better in every regard so...
  19. It's not theory. They were very open about this that they'll certainly look for more FF redfor jets if the sales are good.
  20. It's a pain having to add the DTC to each individual aircraft in the group if they're using the same DTC. It would be nice if we could load the same DTC to all units in the group like we can with the payload and radio settings.
  21. Can't see any positives in such standardization. It only harms the non-English speaking pilots Actually, it matters. Labels in military aircraft are changed to russian, see the L-39s
  22. Here is a short track if this helps in any way. TrimMiG29A.trk
  23. Thanks for ninja fixing the MiG-29's visor. Now this functionality is ready to be ported over to other ED modules!
  24. I've watched an old amateur video from the cockpit of a Tu-204 in the early 2000s. The pilots had to wear a black apron on top of a white shirt so that it would not be reflected in the screens. There was an NL-10 navigation ruler in the pocket of the commander's chair. Then I thought that they were flying into space with her too. I will definitely buy a Mig-29!
  25. Yeah, requested many times since NTTR addition. This would actually make use of the Master Arm > Training position and all those CATMs.
  26. I have trimmed with the control indicator open last night and on my end neutral trim is reached just as the neutral trim light illuminates when trimming left after the AFCS check. It's right on the edge of the lamp indicator. I trimmed with the indicator as a reference and it looked like I reached roughly neutral trim just before the lamp comes on. I then tapped the trim hat left and the light came on but that already indicates a very slight trim to the left. So if you just go by the aileron neutral light make sure you trim back to the right until the light goes off then tap left again and trim should be roughly neutral. If not you will experience a left roll on take off. https://forum.dcs.world/topic/379459-controller-deadzonecurves-dont-activate-until-mid-flight-uncommanded-left-roll/#findComment-5697886
