Don’t forget about the harm that windows updates can do: they often revert user settings back to windows default, so after a while it’s worth checking if nothing has changed. USB power saving for example is notorious for turning itself back on. Or perhaps a recent driver you installed has issues?

I plan to release v2.0 later today. I tried to get Tempest's wind mod working but it appears ED has locked that down because nothing I tried will decouple the ground wind layer from 1600ft wind layer. His mod will decouple the layers in the mission editor but it doesn't have any effect in game. 20 knots ground wind still results in 40 knots at 1600ft. That being said, I did make some nice improvements to this latest generation of cirrus clouds. I replaced a few textures with new ones and made some improvements to others. Shadows are looking much better now also. Overall I think these are the best looking cirrus yet. I also increased the fog visibility range in the mission editor. You can use that to create a nice hazy atmosphere look.

Version 1.1 was the EF mod. It worked in an older version of DCS. The people releasing the mod were lechuzas negras but they're not contactable. I have 2 versions but neither work properly - 1.0.69 and 1.0.5. I'm running 2 versions of DCS - an older version compatible with the EF and the latest version. The old version isn't updated - only the new one. I can't find where the files are either for 1.1 or 1.0.72 of the EF. Any help locating the either of the newer EF downloads would be appreciated.

I disagree, if you look at the DCS shot there, you can barely tell there's an IR signature there. Now minimize the picture to what you would see in VR or at a normal zoom level in 2d - you´ve got yourself a nearly useless image, you can´t even tell the number of blobs there, let alone that they are tank

trying to get into following a kiowa as in a formation. Formation Flight / Intercept Choose which kind of formation fight you want to participate in. After you chose your buddy, they will appear straight in front of you, flying your heading. Close the distance and follow the lead helicopter No formation shows to Start in free flight / on ground hot me as Player...I choose another Kiowa as client. I takeoff and Kiowa 2 sits there with rotor spinning. Please advise. Thank you

Who is the author of your Eurofighter mod? Version 1.1 of DCS was not an Open Beta, so now what are you looking for? A DCS OpenBeta version or a Eurofighter mod version?
