  2. I really recommend this map. Performance for me with a 3080ti is better than on any other map I have, it looks excellent, and the potential for missions and campaigns which can use much of the aircraft and kit we have in DCS is enormous. Hopefully Ugra will do what some other map-makers don’t, which is keep on top of it and update it frequently. I like Sinai a lot too, but updates are far too few and far between.

  6. Всем привет! Докину в копилку VCOM. Купил вот такой кабель. Жаль только 1.5 метра нашёл, а так норм, с учётом приклеенного под столом vcomа. Хватает вертеть головой в обе стороны. С 15 ватной зарядкой от самсунга вроде подцепляется, но как и у всех бывают танцы с бубном.
  7. This is likely a Block 2, given we haven't had a lot of info about its internals so far. As for the video, you can see in it that it has the smaller HUD, but ADI int the top right. Wouldn't surprise me if the Block2 has a few software upgrades.
  8. And why are they called red if they are green? It would be more pretty to see red flood lights in the game to be honest.
  9. Will we be expecting something like the A-10CII in terms of datalink and symbology (networked aircraft, waypoint direction, other aircraft's SPIs, etc) or will it be a completely different thing?
  10. It's a shame or slowly embarrassing: you can move it ... but why isn't the last user position saved for each module! Every time you have to move it from the bottom right. All pop-ups should be able to be moved, dimmed and the position saved!

  14. In an update a while back ED added the ability for the supercarriers to have ground crew guide you to the catapults. However, after that update F14 will not be able to access the catapults with a birth from a parking spot, saluting the ground crew on the F14 is not effective, they will not guide you, and the only way to catapult is to birth the F14 directly to the catapults. Is this issue a long standing bug at the moment or is there some setting that I am not aware of that needs to be changed?
  15. I am trying to understand SimApp pro setup. I know DCS support 128 button mode but I also fly BMS. My question is if I understand correctly is I would have to set up SimApp Pro to 4X32 to setup my controls for BMS or any other sims, and then switch back to 128 button mode for DCS? Is that correct.

  17. I also wonder why the F14 head movement and stick movement isn’t as compromised as the F4. And why is only pitch axis delayed on the stick but not the roll. I’d prefer F14-like visuals for head and stick movement

As promised, here is the duplicator: https://github.com/ChariotOfFLAME/DCS-StaticTemplateDuplicator NOTE: think of this as a small-group duplicator; it is for use with things like SAM sites, static aircraft displays, beach clutter, etc. It is not for use with map-wide or airport-specific templates. e.g. use it as a way to create re-usable templates for common groups of units you use frequently across missions in all theatres.   20. Oh god! Thank you so much for this. It's been driving me mad (and really hurting my eyes), but I thought it was just me. I really hope this gets addressed, and soon.
  21. I want to learn the AH-64. When I put my oculus on and I pull up the George menu, the menu is at the very tip top of my oculus screen. So I logged out and did the same in TrackIr5 and the George menu is at the bottom right side of the screen, very easy to read. I took these pics to see if anyone knows how I can fix this is VR. You can't tell from, but I have to really strain my eyes upward to see and read this menu. In the VR pic, my eyes are level with the horizan.
  22. This problem started recently I believe... The center of the NVG circle, the HMD cross on the Hornet, and Petrovich's interface "crosshair" on the Hind are all displaying 20 degrees or so above the center of the VR view. In this image, I am looking at the center of the HUD glass (you can see that's centered vertically in the VR view) The Petrovich crosshair is above. In the Huey image, I have marked with a red cross where I am looking. The NVG circle is centered above. The same effect happens with the Hornet HMD (and NVG) but taking a screenshot doesn't show the HMD, I imagine because it's rendered in only one eye.

  24. It seems to me that the shot of the nozzles is of the new 3D model. Different colours to the FC version. MiG29S anyway.
  25. Just to piggyback @Nealius the aft Spot 7 on elevator 3 could be used but takes a bit of coordination. What DCS needs is an active/functional LSE (Landing signal enlisted). The only time I've seen Helo's use the angle is after the last aircraft has trapped for the night (final, final).
  26. Mission 3 Operation Persian Freedom landing at Al Minhad bad pitch up on landing. It’s to bad now that on every landing your worried about pitching up when flaring to land.
  27. Not to be that guy but, just be aware, there are never any starts from the Hangar IRL. The Pilots and crews meet the plane ALREADY topside. The Hangar IRL is for aircraft getting maintenance (down birds).
