  5. That is correct though. Btw, make sure to eliminate paralax by putting your head above it in the right angle and distance. The paralax on this one is kinda big bc the screen is quite deep in behind the glass actually. Like an entire arm length deep.
  6. Refueling works!!! Took 7 tons of fuel and accelerated to 2.8 mach at 17-18 km. P.S. I plan to do a mission with Mig-31BM on the Kola map.

A full SID/STAR and other navigation data are required for DCS... yes, I know this has more to do with certain civil flight simulators, but we have a "Garmil" addon... and it wouldn't be bad if there was a folder with unified data in this regard. Collaborate with Jepessen or similar? Because when the spherical earth arrives, we will definitely need all that data, even if it has to be with other navigation systems like LORAN, Decca, inertial, etc.

  9. One might add that with the radar scanning along the horizon (elevation +- 0), the elevation bar is not coincident with the 0° mark on the elevation scale in the front cockpit.
  10. Yes, it is ok when based on the documentation we have on these two items that the AH-64D has the skip bit test, whereas the AAQ-33 does not. As always, if you have evidence available from a publicly shared source, we would be happy to review it.

  13. In addition to all this multicrew desynch issues, when the CPG enters the aircraft while it was already flying crashes the CPG client 100% of the time. This is an issue from the RELEASE of the aircraft and its really annoying.
  14. (Careful with active pause. In many cases people use it in a way that gives totally incorrect results because the aircraft isnt unloaded first. The pipper needs to be stabilized naturally on the target, no G load or heavy stick movement, else the AoA is all over during active pause.)

  17. It is a very attractive module, more than the F-16 or the F-35, if you ask me. I can't think of a module as fun to learn as the Hind.

  22. track ir is slaving to the tdc in the a10 c when using HMCS and when i press the slew it also follows my head tracking...should it be this way??? shouldn't it only follow my tdc input and not where i look?? as it is now my head movement is being in-puted which has consequences and can throw the targeting off by mistake.
  23. With the release of the F4U, the impending releases of the F6F, the Pacific Asset Pack, and the Zero, I think it's time to consider a playground for them to splash around in. So, I would like to respectfully submit the "Slot" for your consideration. Imagine a map stretching from the middle of Guadalcanal all the way to just beyond Kavieng, including Rabaul, full of airbases, naval action and Combined Arms On either side of the Slot you have large open bodies of water where the IJN and USN can fling airplanes at each other from fleet carriers. Whaddya think?! I can't remember if it's on the list, but you might want to throw in a G4M Betty, just to spice things up

  24. @currenthill I think i'm screwing something up, yet if you culd help it I would be really gratefull. So I'm playing around with the Call Artillery Scripot, from MBot : My idea is is to use a OH-58D, and a AH-64D as FO (Forward Observer, which in real time is a job they perform) As FS (Fire Units) I'm using your M270 MLRS : 1 platoon of M270 GMLRS and 2 platoons of M270 ATACMS. Each platoon has 2 HEMTT M977 trucks attached to it to function as munition carriers. Now the part which is really driving nuts : If you send a call for fire to 1 of platoons (either GMLRS or ATACMS), the read back is "out of ammo" not able to fire. Yet when you use the "normal" M270 (which is already in DCS) they fire without a problem. I checked in Mission Editor if it's possible to see which, and how much ammo the GMLRS and ATACMS are carrying but I can't find it. Do you have a idea were I could look, or how to sort this out ? (If you think this has to do with MBot's Call Artillery Script and I should take it up with him, then sorry for bothering)
  25. yea, i play contractors VR exfil zone. when i get shot in certain areas, i will bleed out and become incapacitated. all ideas great! better than current state of DCS infantry! other note.. i made mission where i placed infantry units on top of tall buildings.. at the slightest alert, like near by explosions, the Ai infantry would run off the building and sometimes scurry like roaches lol.. but they are still alive after falling 10 stories! lol
