  1. Past hour
  2. I still don't understand why. The Mi-24 is such a simple helicopter that it couldn't be simpler. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think any modernization was implemented, even in real life. There were many designs, many ideas, and in the end, the Mi-24 remained as it is. Perfect in its simplicity.
  3. You're not, but that's why mods exist- to modify, extend or outright create non-existing capability. AG is talking about mod, not trying to change DCS itself.
  4. Yes, I was shocked when I saw the HUD back in 1997 or 98, I know it's not real, simply wanted to show how it looked.
  5. an expensive investment, sounds like...
  6. You must use Pitch F-23A , all what have the Name F-23A
  7. I also have this issue and so does a friend.
  8. Currently the rearm logic works as follows: No change in fuel level = rearm only Change in fuel level = first refuel, then rearm It would be nice if after RTB-ing we could first rearm, and then refuel, so that we get a few minutes to setup weapons, instead of just sitting there. It could be implemented in a few ways: Reverse the current logic: first rearm, and then refuel User settable option in game settings Check box in the rearm menu
  9. Thanks man, I appreciate you. Have a good day!
  10. ...very brief - LOL. But okay. Do we have any idea of what is being updated and when we will see them?
  11. "Famous" or infamous? <wink>
  12. You're showing something that was created for the game. There's no such sight in real life. As far as I know, DCS is a simulator that faithfully replicates real helicopters and planes. Unless I'm missing something.
  13. Bring it on.
  14. Skin above now has a download link.
  15. I mean my FOB wasn't added, but the more the merrier I guess.
  16. You already know the answer: You'll need a 5090 to drive it Visuals will be a good deal clearer and with a wider FOV It'll have Pimax's famous reliability baked in
  17. It's all good man. Thank you for your service as well. I definitely get where you are coming from. I didn't take any offense to what you said. I figured you were frustrated and realized that you wanted to know the finer details. Don't get that often on the forums often. Some like the simple answers and some like the longer answers. But I'm always willing to do some reading and asking people I know for clarity on what I've. Actually found some interesting info regarding this info and will give it to the right people and we might see a change. Nothing big but a small one. Hopefully this info helps you out though and clarifies how and why it all works. If it does get change hopefully we will see it in the patch notes. They just need to bump the fuel from 4000 to 5000. I will send BigNewy or Nineline the info.
  18. It also clips through the main gear doors.
  19. Good idea!
  20. There is a known bug with the undesignate logic in MP. It effects RSET as well effectively paralyizing you from switching targets
  21. Yes. Of course. If it was implemented as you say, then the error should change with range. It does not. It should be perfect at your boresighted range, and then it would drift away the further you are away from that range. But that's not what it does.
  22. The only complication would be that positional lights (red/green) would need some occlusion checks for aircraft that are only rendered as a single pixel. Still not rocket science, but makes it a little bit more involved than just a flare, which can just ignore occlusion in practice... I absolutely agree though. Limited light visibility not only kills immersion, but makes night flying extremely difficult for older aircraft. Finding your wingman without GPS and HUD indicators can be near impossible. It's a real shame and needs to be fixed. Also there need to be options in the ME to define light usage for AI units. Also check out this thread!
  23. I'm getting exactly the same
  24. Today
  25. Мастер Ийода, ты ли это?
