  2. Hello, Its nice that ED added Czech AF livery to the Hind but, why they used so bad livery i dont understand! It dont even has the Czech Markings as any Military Aircraft. It would be nice if you add some liveries to check it for quality, thats the same as if you would add, US Air Force livery on a Viper without US markings, everybody would tell you that its not right! So i hope ED you can, use or change it to much better one for example from GumidekCZ for example https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3318869/ I think there are many Czechs out there who will, appreciate if you could put better livery on it, cant be that diffcult. ps. would you put there an Hornet with navy livery without US Markings? No so fix it pls

  5. Ah, I wasn't aware of the exact function of that hatch, but in any case, the hatch is still stuck in open position. And I have no mods installed.

  9. Since the update when playing for example on Contention everything runs fine. But at a Random Point when opening the F-10 Map my VR headset starts to stutter a lot untinulll restart the game and reconnect my VR headset with my PC. Im using a Quest 2 and Running the settings attached in the screenshot. It happened both in the Hornet aswell as in the F-15E. I have not tested other Aircraft yet. PC Specs: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core, RTX 3060 TI, 32GB RAM
  10. Is it just me, or do the R-33s feel underperforming again? Or maybe the AI is just stupid with the missiles, idk. It seems like they’re dumber and don’t even want to use them, plus the range feels lower than it used to be.

It's easy, I tried both, and I could probably manage instant+recenter - and it worked for me 9x% of cases - sometimes I happen to be in such a panic that I didn't properly reset/recenter one of the axes. In that case, the trim simply didn't work for that which lead to a confusing experience. Maybe it was a dead-zone matter as well (I have mostly 0 dead-zones). So I'd not take this option away from people for whom it works, it's a logical option that works great for many. Instant is somewhat great, but it causes crazy maneuvers for bigger channges. And that's where this fade-in/fade-out comes in (the name is probably most meaningful for musicians? ). It simply changes the trim from whatever position to the "center" (at that moment) over some time - during which I can counteract it by moving the joystick towards the centre - but without the need to totally reset/recenter it. That's why it's great. Because Instant is like you snapped the stick suddenly - which may even not be good for some helos - but "recenter with delay" (or fade-in/fade-out) makes it smoothly and I can counteract/anticipate it.
  12. Confirmed! Tested with wind of 10kts 270° IA took of from runway 27 and the ATC told me to take off on runway 09. Second test with wind direction of 90° (So I should take off on runway 27), ATC told me to taxi to runway 09. And IA took of from runway 27. But strangely the IA always take off from runway 27 but always lands on the runway 09, despite the wind direction...
  13. Ich finde es ja fantastisch, was die Übersetzer an Arbeit leisten. Aber... ich weiß, warum ich DCS auf Englisch eingestellt habe. "AI Task Push" => "KI Aufgabe Vorwärts" ist schon wieder so irreführend... als wäre das Hantieren mit dem Missionseditor nicht schon schwierig genug. Genau wie coyote79 sagt: "Kontinuierlich" wird jede Sekunde einmal ausgewertet und ist vermutlich nicht, was du hier haben willst "Vorbedingung" (EN: "Switched Condition") greift einmal, wenn die Bedingung erfüllt ist, und dann erst wieder, wenn die Bedingung nicht mehr erfüllt war und dann wieder erfüllt ist
  14. Marine corps hornets use it as their primary TGP. It's within the timeframe standard ED has set.
  15. When i placed switch to reticle on the HUD, upon returning switch to normal daytime position, color becomes yellow. Identical to night mode, just brighter. Switching between day and night is not problem only when switch is placed to reticle position for the first time. And I did not find a way to fix/change after.

  17. Thanks for taking your time watching my track. My mission has a Target point over the Batumi Cross, with the altitude reference, so as far as i know, every step is by the book
  18. Missile is losing the target to chaff while beaming in almost every track. Then reacquires super late and misses under likely because of target glint. I don't see anything in these tracks to suggest a bug.
  19. Once test button for HUD is pressed, there is some issue. Test picture we had before patch is now gone.
  20. В Чинуке был глюк с страницами CDU. С патчем он исчез и все заработало. Чем он удобен, в отличии от остальных. Появляешься на сервере, если в него вбит флайтплан, удаляешь. Запускаешься, жмешь маркпойнт и вставляешь его в END. Потом тащишь ящики в удобное место, жмешь маркпойнт и флайтплан готов. Очень удобно. Не надо потом вспоминать, куда ты отвез первые ящики. Особенно ночью на карте Афганистан, где найти более-менее ровную площадку для размещение ПВО сложно. Еще у него необычная IR фара красноватого цвета и подсветка в кабине шикарная. У меня на видосе в начале видно, что маршрут из двух маркпойнтов. Я создал опорный пункт, потом возил ящики, сделал несколько ТОС и вынес ими ПВО на вражеском филде. На этом сервере редко кто бывает, а одному сложно. Вражеские самолеты летают на патрулирование и ПВО жесткое. В основном все сидят на Кавказе, Сирии или Германии, на Афганистане 1-2. Тут Чинук выручает. У него загрузка больше и скорость 145 узлов.
  21. Try adjusting the “resolution of cockpit displays” option in the settings menu, see if that makes a difference. That option needs a DCS restart to take effect though.
  22. Hi ! _ I can confirm bombs falling short. I played mirmidon track as player, and it fall short. I created a similar mission (.track attached) like his own myself, and bombs fall short. (FAB 500 fall shorter than FAB 250) _ I noticed another issue within my training mission (.miz file attached): First, air start with a DTC loaded, NOLA (no lauch authorized) was displayed on the HUD et bombing piper (as well as laser predesignator piper if using it) was way off and over sensitive in roll under 12000ft. In a second time I did the same without any DTC loaded and the NOLA issue disappeared. No problem to do a bombing run under 12000ft. Then I discovered that in the DTC, in weapon's tab the target point selected was "point 1" wich was on a mountain at 12000ft... So I set it to "point 2" wich is on my target area near sea level. As a result, no more NOLA issue under 12000ft with the DTC loaded. So is it an issue or does it work as intended ? That would mean it's mandatory to define a target point in the DTC for the bombing system to work properly. With only one target area available in the mission and no change of target area location possible in flight ? I'm doubtful... BOMBS FALL SHORT MIG29 CCIP.trk Mig-29A Caucasus.miz

  24. "The Engine Power Indicator is a tool to measure the equipment used to control engine power. Monitoring and control of the engines is based on the measurement of the compressor’s outlet air pressure, whose value is indicated by the two yellow markers on the vertical scale. These are then compared to the central red markers on the scale that represent different engine operating modes. The position of these mode markers is proportional to the ambient air pressure and temperature. On the central index there are three red markers: “В”, “Н”, “К”. These correspond to the compressor’s outlet air pressure at takeoff, maximum continuous, and cruise modes. To control the operation of any mode, it is necessary to compare the position of the yellow index markers with the red mode marks (В, Н, К) on the scale. Compressor outlet air pressure scale. Scaled from 5 to 10 kgf/cm2. One division equals 0.5 kgf/cm2." Those 3 bugs: o O – takeoff mode: 6min for normal (u can extend this for emergency conditions or when one engine is inoperative) o Н – maximum continuous mode: 60 min for normal o К – cruise mode:no time limit Also idle power has a 20min time limit My personal understanding of those limits are they are designed to extend the service life of the engines(material degradation or something),nothing really happens if u don't follow those time limits in DCS. (But in the sim u still can cause damage to the engine if u overheat the oil or overtorque them)
