Hi all, my apology if this has been asked already before. I tried to search for this in the existing topics but had no luck. Could someone please confirm if Mi-24 Hind will be also flyable or will it be purely AI operated heli? Last Hind simulation I flew was in (excellent) "Hind" sim by Digital Integration in the late 90s and since then, there were other helicopter simulations but none so far had Mi-24 Hind that was properly simulated and flyable by "humans" ;-). I think it is time for this great helicopter to make a return and DCS I think is just the place where this should happen. Perhaps as a later add on flyable helicopter if not released first up? I understand it is not an easy task to model all helicopters BUT Mi-24 is a legendary machine deserving a place in the release as a flyable simulation together with Ka-50 helicopter. Lastly, will there be national skins for helicopters to choose from for example say Polish, Czech etc for Mi-24 if it gets released? Appreciate a reply. Thank you and sorry again if this has been already answered somewhere else. I am looking forward to DCS "Black Shark" :-)

SIM-MOD CO-OP A-10 Warthog Weekend The Associated Press London announced today that 8 multinational peace keepers visiting Sochi, Krasnodar Krai in anticipation of the 2014 Olympic Games, have been kidnapped by militant extremists and are being held hostage in an undisclosed location in the remote mountains north of Krasnaya Polyana. The men being held are part of the renowned International A-10 Sim-Mod Team credited with the latest state of the art designs for the Warthog. Esteemed members include Deadman, Highwayman-Ed, Mustang, Rockwelder, Ruggbutt, SuperKungFu , Warthogmadman987 and Yeniceri. The team were reportedly traveling to the future Olympic sight when they were overtaken by a heavily armed group of militants. Rumor has it that these radical militants, in opposition to the international event, are placing demands on the surrounding Countries to submit and cancel the scheduled Russian Olympics or the hostages will be executed and attacks will begin in their homelands. Countries involved have a "no tolerance" policy with regard to dealing with demands from terrorists and leaders across the world are calling for a united allied strike on the region. As reported by Reuters "the Kremlin has a major stake in delivering successful games because President Vladimir Putin lobbied personally for Sochi's bid." The Kremlin is now calling for support of all leaders to conduct airstrikes on the rogue territories saying that, "at this time, all ground targets in the area are to be considered hostile and should be destroyed." Because of the value of the hostages and all that they have sacrificed for the international community, the militaries are offering up all newly re-designed A-10s to take part in air to ground strikes so that elite troops may then be sent in to rescue these respected men. Pilots from across the globe are being called upon to take part in this operation and help free them. Good Luck!. Don't put both in a group. You have to put two individual aircraft into the mission and mark them both as "client".

Well, Racer has been hard at work and I have a list of updates. Racer:"Getting really close now mates. Just have the airbrake and nozzles left to go before she is ready to be placed into the game and sized up. Then Trooper can have at it with weapon placement. " Racer:"ALL STOP! Вот кабина в работе... Если боковые окошечки еще удалось сделать, пересобрав кабину из отдельных полигонов, то с окошками на дверях большая проблема... Они имеют сложную конфигурацию, а еще одной правки геометрии после буля мое сердце не выдержит.... Текущая конфа-21.5 килотреугольников

Nero, я который раз прошу чтобы ты показал ГДЕ написано что у головки 55 градусов. а ты до сих пор не показал, а только грозишься. Пока что я видел что разработчик написал что угол уменьшили, то есть он УЖЕ небольшой. посколько про патч 1.2 сказано в прошедшем времени, а никто такого патча в глаза не видел, естественно предположить, что это описка и читать следует "после патча 1.12". и уж никак не следует ЧЕРНУЮ АКУЛУ называть патчем кстати: Последние несколько дней я СПЕЦИАЛЬНО летал на серверах где пуск ЭТ без ПР приветствуется, и, знаешь, НОРМАЛЬНО. ЭТ пущенная без ПР как правило идет мимо. Частота её попадания НЕ ВЫШЕ ЧЕМ У ДРУГИХ РАКЕТ ПУЩЕННЫХ ЛЮБЫМ ДРУГИМ СПОСОБОМ. Я это проверил на опыте. Следовательно ,если у кого это не так, то только из его неумения или нежелания учиться. Поэтому продолжаю считать желание убрать ЭТ без ПР нытьем слабаков, и пофиг сколько времени чел тусуется в области вирпилотства, если он продолжает ныть. Значит, слабак со стажем.:lol: аксакалистый слабак, так сказать... Хорошая техника пилотирования и просто умение уходить от ракет ещё не делает хорошего боевого пилота. Нужен ещё дух бойца, способность достойно встретить вызов.

Hi Folks, Just a heads up to let you know that there's a new tutorial on the A2A page of my site:: BFM 101: Understanding Corner Speed. It's 207MB and 14 minutes long. This would have been released about a year ago. I was about 3 hours from having it completed when my hard drive crashed and I lost everything (I thought)--about 60 hours of work. I couldn't bear the thought of starting over from scratch and, so, had written it off. However, a few weeks ago I discovered an early rough copy backed up to DVD. So with that in hand and adding some new video and voicing, I've completed a shorter version of the original. Hope you enjoy it. Rich

This is not true, we take every one that we need to take. More that likely, base "X" will have a support staff (cooks, personalist, police,etc) establish there or going there with you. But for the most part every unit always takes with them the people involve with maintaining the aircraft. Every base can handle a certain amount of aircraft not assigned to that location, but this is use more for aircraft diverts, so that those diverted aircraft can be quickly repair and send back to their home base.

You know guys in reality there has been so little criticism of the is project and so little thanks out of the 2,000 down loads. Just kind of guessing here what 2 real complaints so that 0.1 percent of a ruff estimate of 2000 downloads and,Let say to be generous ruffly 200 thank you note so about10% of downloads. Witch leaves us with 89.9% of the people that have downloaded that have not expressed their thoughts.Please do its nice to say thank you :thumbup:

Very very hard to make them understand something i gived up on that.. you'll get bashed.. ;) But they do a good job it just need to get some TLC..

If it's far, it probably wont hit. If it's close, watch the missile trail. If it suddenly breaks hard and goes "straight" for more than a second it's gonna miss.
