Like the guys here said 20-30km is a good start setting when searching for bandits, don't worry to much about fiddling with range until you find a contact and only if you struggle to keep a track of him. Just keep in mind that the longer the range setting the smaller the increments will be when you move the radar up and down eg. at range of 10km an elevation of 1 will look much higher than a setting of 50km elevation 1.

I've never opened any of my CH Products to lube anything. Never had to replace a POT. I'm not saying that from time to time someone may have to have a POT replaced or something may need to be fixed for whatever reason. When and if they do, CH Products Product Support is second to none. Period. And, as far as them being "toys" let's face it, . . . . . . . . . . . They're all just toys. Cougar too.

The larger aircraft can only be flown as singles. I have tried changing the Single In Flight settings in the lua files to overcome this but it appears to be another hard coded change from LFC. Whatever you change it stays as 1 aircraft. I want to create Para Drop missions with several C-130's and C-17's etc, anyone found a way around this yet ?

It all depends on what you know about your flight stick and how you use it. Just red some posts which stated that Logitech and Saitek are garbage... Well I disagree... Personally I use X52Pro, same stick for two and a half years and have no a single problem... But then, it's because I had two X52 before my X52Pro and I've learned weak points of the Saitek and with keeping those in mind X52Pro serves just fine. Wouldn't want anything else.

cant tell u values but its defenitly enough for a realy smooth game if u tweak your LODs properly and set lockon on a single core just my 2cents
