  1. Wags, Eagle Dynamics and beta testers, I would like to thank you for putting so much effort, time and love in making these great virtual simulators that many people will enjoy for years to come. Cynics would say "Sure, they're paid for doing that." but there are many companies out there who are also making lots of money but quite often fail to deliver. RVS-у Всё настояшее и с того вылета,правда это ему не поможет в лечении его головы,в отличии его 3х каких то дешёвых сринов -я отвалил предостаточно,пусть он подберет день или ночь когда луна благоприятна(шизикам иногда помогает) и внимательно их рассмотрит,повторюсь это ему не поможет,пусть продолжает искать черную кошку в темной комнате где ёё нет и не было.Мне жаль,что я случайно задел RVS ,как говорят :не трож Г....о-вонять не будет!Еще прошу админов ED забанить меня (Vsem-Xana-ru) на вашем форуме на срок 13дней(ухожу в подполье) от таких придурков как ares-mormon-RedAlert и ихнего главного шизика RVS (возможно это одна и тажа морда-Лица или лицо? а всёравно те же яйца ток в профиль) Я конечно дико извиняюсь....

  4. EDIT: Calibration tools are in posts 7 & 8. I received mine a couple of weeks ago, and it's had this problem out-of-box. My stick isn't centered. I always have to trim LWD after takeoff because my stick is biased to the right. With a range of 0 to 65535, center should be in the neighborhood of 32767. My center sits between 32950 and 33026 on the X axis. It's not crazy-off, but it is a noticeable annoyance in-game. I can't find any way to re-cal using the target software, thrustmaster's website, or a google search. A search of -Calibrate Warthog- on this forum gives 0 results. Does anyone else have this problem, or a solution to it?

  7. Hi guy's yes I agree with not going down the Falcon path. What I was suggesting was that modders that do high quility work such as 3d Pits, submit their work for approval to ED. If it is functionally doable but needs access to .exe or whatever, that an agreement be entered into so ED does not lose control of the private information given to allow a project to be done. This way we avoid the Falcon problem, ED's private information remains that way and the community benefits for the Project and ED would possible continue to receive revenue from an older flight simulation that is still being kept somewhat up to date. It's the big picture here we have to look at. This is an idea that is doable,in sum such form, it only has to be looked into by ED. It will cost them nothing with possible returns. Obviously this cannot continue for ever but it can for a few more years with a win win situation for all. Thanks for the kind words. Just trying to put forth an idea that may well give us all something we are looking for at the present and over the next few years.:thumbup:

  12. Всё захватывается, правда сам перелётывал эту миссию раз 7!:doh: Главное при появлении марки быстро произведи захват и пук двух ракет. Пересмотри обучающий трек по применению ПРЛ. И из личного опыта, при атаке корабельной группировке ведомому отдай команду следовать по маршруту, после уничтожения Осы вернёшь в стойло, а то при следовании парой на Осу после её пуска он сбрасует весь БК!:noexpression::mad: Удачи!:joystick::pilotfly:

  15. Пробывал и много раз.. что бы промахнулась с такой дистанции нужно много факторов к примеру на фоне земли скорость не больше 1000 и не меньше 900... Но! ракета под брюхоми чуть позади (в оффе) взрывется и у тебя выбиты оба движка... ракета убер, у нее не направленный взрыв как показывет практика и углы обзора тоже фантастика... плюсуем погрешности к онлайну и тут без вариантов.... с 15 км по супостату хоть 120 хоть 77, попадание.

  16. Как-то просто у вас уходить от ракет получается:). По мне - так больше на лотерею похоже. Выполняй кадушку, и молись чтоб не попала:music_whistling:. В пушечном бое как-то уверен в своём самолёте, знаёшь, на что он способен, ракетный бой не даёт такой уверенности, всё завязано на возможностях ракет.

This seems to be the basis for a celebration of love on this date. It was marked in a subtly different way in those days, however.   23. Really quite interested with this particular fix in Beta 6: 14. Fixed some bugs with clouds. They are no longer fluorescent at night, fixed shapes colliding. I highlighted the last part because i wonder what it actually means, i'm hoping that maybe it'll fix the issue with forests/trees showing through clouds.   25. This a common occurrence specially with new guys. The worst ones are the ones that don't say anything about it until they come back from the flight. This an example of a bad pilot for us. We hope they empty their pockets of unnecessary items and secure anything they take into the cockpit, as you can see this guy does not do nether of those things.

Она не будет обычной ракетой ни в каком бою, ибо даже если сорвал захват, то она обязательно перенаведется, а что бы делать гарантированные отвороты опытным пилотом быть ненадо, разворот на 180 и тапку в пол можно и без мегауберскилла сделать. А ретро миссия на РАФ не помешает, нет возможности ограничить 120? В баню нарушителей и делов то. Про ЭТ, ты сам недавно этой самой ЭТ своего вальнул на РАФ ;)

  27. Beta 6 will be released the day after the members on the forums go 12 hours without asking about beta 6. Every time "beta 6" is mentioned it resets the clock back to zero. The count down to release of beta 6 has gotten a whopping 8 seconds closer to release only to be reset a few times in this post alone. Wait 50 minutes to read the following: beta 6.

One also needs to bear in mind that TTW ratio does not include drag, so unless airspeed is insignificant the net force available for accelerating/climbing will be less than the thrust. This may or may not have implications on the achievable climb angle with TTW above unity. For info on an in my opinion more interesting measure of performance, google "specific excess power". Bipod, figured you would. :) Bucic, it's not impossible. Reversers... :D

  45. Apologies for the English. Why all this commotion? Here is the philosophy of these missiles in FC2, IMHO: Unlike FC1, in FC2 if you gain advantage, if you launch in good parameters, you should keep the advantage. The aircraft that was attacked will have a lot of difficulty escaping. This is a realistic result, and replicates at least some of the need to arrive at an advantageous position before missile launch in real life. This is described by all pilots - western and eastern. The missiles operate in such as way in FC2 that the person with the best knowledge and skilled use of his weapons should win - or in some cases, the most lucky. Some tips on evading missiles: 1) Break lock of attacking aircraft with notch maneuver (3-9 maneuver where your altitude is significantly lower than that of the enemy). This is especially effective against a SARH-armed opponent, and it can also be used to break lock of enemy ARH missile. 2) Out-gimbal the missile. Many missiles have a +/- 60 degree gimbal. If you are at a distance where the missile has slowed down to your speed +50%, it will fail to track you correctly if you have it at your 3-9. It can successfuly hit you if you are too close to it, so once you see the missile it may be a good idea to slightly pull up. Against AIM-120C used at low altitude, this type of maneuver will work even as close as 20km, no chaff required. Add chaff for maximum effect. Finally one of the most important things is to know and understand your weapons. The R-27ER will reach its target about 10-15 sec faster at high altitudes than the AIM-120. This means that if you follow this simple tactic: Launch R-27ER - single or salvo of two. Turn to place target at radar limit and begin 30-45 deg dive right after launch - maintain lock! If an F-15 continues to close with you, your missile will hit first. After he is hit, you have a few seconds to evade the AMRAAM. This will not depend on your luck, skill, knowledge, and ability to accurately execute evasion and without panic - but it is not very difficult to do. If you are trapped with enemy aircraft close to you (say, inside 10km) and he is firing and you are not in a position to fire back, good luck. He has won, and this is the way it should be. Your possibility of escape is very small regardless of what you are flying, and what your opponent is flying. This is the point: Begin the engagement with positional advantage and force your opponent to spend more time defensive, and thus you spend more time offensive. You will win. Finally, for even better results fly in a group and execute tactics as a group - do not fly all your planes in one pretty line at the same altitude towards an enemy using TWS + ARH, or even ARH+STT. Spread your azimuth and altitude to make tracking of both (or more) attackers marginal and force him to choose only one or two. Use EWR/AWACS. Do not think about fighting head to head - come up with tactics to change geometry. Do not think 1vs1 - think group engagements. Need to get closer to that F-15? Get to lower altitude than him, go into the notch. Turn back into him, check where he is, back into the notch. Maybe change altitude as well. Try to get in a position where he is not pointed at you by using this method, then attack. Note: I was with Yoda on making missiles more effective. We were not the only ones. Realize that we did not just argue for more effective AIM-120C. The R-27 is much more effective than in FC1. What you have now is a simulation that, although it is a 'light' simulation, better represents the types of maneuvers, tactics and thinking that you would be forced to use in real life - this representation is much better than in FC1 where being caught by surprise at close range meant you could just turn around and shoot down your enemy without worrying about being shot down yourself. This was a very unrealistic portrayal of air combat. I think developers of ED have done a very good job of turning FC2 into a great modern air to air simulator. While there are things missing, these are just limitations of the code used - but even with these limitations they have given us a simulation where we can experience some of what real life pilots would experience ... if you want to very easily dodge missiles from any aspect, easily get out of a disadvantaged position, and in general behave in a way a real pilot would not - you can still play FC1. FC2 is progress in the right direction.
