Auto hover engages it by default. You're drifting in auto hover because of the wind. Trim so you lean into the wind.

Do we have any idea what the UI will be for interacting with AI pilot? Not to be critical of F14 but the wheel is what kept me from buying Tomcat. Will Apache AI menu be just generic comm menu?

That's just an error in the preset. Attached is fixed file in /Config/Effects/clouds.lua Value adjusted is commented by my name. Simple fix so hope it can be implemented in next patch. clouds.lua

That's just an error in the preset. I updated the mod in the first post.

To me, it's no different than carrier landing.

You sound pretty knowledgeable so you should be able to figure it out quick but below is the debacle I went through 5 months ago. There's YouTube video in the middle of the post about undervolting which I eventually settled with. There's Precision Boost Overdrive, Precision Boost, and Precision Boost 2 all different thing. Then there's CPU Boost... AMD must love the term "Boost". I'm sure Boosterdog should feel right at home

It has been. However, this was temporary mod until ED fixes the rain. They have. I'm leaving it because this mod still does offer longer lightening and smaller water droplets. File on the first post is compatible with latest as of 10-29-2021.

I remember someone telling me that's wrong way to do it but I fly with FD when I need to maneuver. Even Wags fly with FD on his videos. I turn it off when I need to hover or cruise. But Shark is not like other helos. You just have to get used to the trim stuff. Once you know and predict how it behaves, you will be able to control it accurately.

Not sure if it's available in every country but just saw that Star Wars Squadrons is free for Amazon Prime members. Says limited quantity. Star Wars Squadrons -
That's $344 USD. The set I got, 32GB of 3600MHz CL18 is $132 USD right now. I actually paid $170 5 months ago... TEAMGROUP T-Force Delta RGB DDR4 32GB (2x16GB) 3600MHz (PC4-28800) CL18 Desktop Gaming Memory Module Ram TF3D432G3600HC18JDC01 - Black at Amazon.com Is CL16 it worth $200 over CL18? For me, computer upgrade is always maximizing what I can get for my money. Can you spend that $200 elsewhere and get better performance than 2 less CL?

I just uninstall and reinstall. Fussy way.

I agree with practice but as for technique, what works for some doesn't always work for others. Typical "Use peripheral vision" thing doesn't work for me. Maybe I lack the peripheral vision. After failing that for hours on end, I realized that focusing on flight path marker and basket works far better for me. Similar to carrier landing. I haven't failed to connect since. Navy pilots require certain skill set, general public do not and there are many different type of people. I don't believe there is right or wrong or bad habit. Just find a method that works for you.

Do you see MissionEditor folder in the mod?

I was in same dilema 5 months ago and upgraded only MB, RAM, and CPU for $700 in May. GPU remains to be GTX 1080 like you. 5600X, ASUS ROG Strix B550, and DDR4 32GB 3600MHz CL18 I went with 2 sticks of RAM for future expansion. And I was contemplating over higher clock speed of RAM vs lower Cas Latency but I saw a comparison video on YouTube that convinced me to get highest clock speed for the money regardless of CL. Overall, I do not regret. In DCS, yes it only marginally improves higher end of frame rate. It doesn't let me enable any more graphic settings or increase resolution. But it greatly improves lower end performance with same setting. Doesn't stutter flying over dense areas anymore. If you're getting Ryzen, get better CPU cooler. Mine was throttling back due to higher temp with stock cooler and was a cause for stutter in DCS. Also if you're switching from Intel, some of the BIOS setting may be confusing at first.

Taz1004 replied to Basilone's topic in Bugs and Problems
I'm pretty sure he was asking about the purpose of TMS Aft short. -

I haven't tried recently but Aft short, stabilization breaks the moment you move the cursor. -
Seems like not many notice it.

I tried it on OPF mission 2 and works fine. What frequency are you setting on what radio panel? MIC switch forward is for VHF AM only. -
VR Shaders mod for better VR experience
Taz1004 replied to Kegetys's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
But Kegety's original is incompatible now? In the patched version by lefuneste01, it looks like the codes for Kegety's GBuffer tweaks are disabled even tho the file is there and _HMD.hlsl. -
VR Shaders mod for better VR experience
Taz1004 replied to Kegetys's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Looks like GBuffer tweak is still disabled. Which was one of the biggest performance improvement of the mod. Shouldn't affect the IC safe version however. -

I don't have SC so I'm not even sure what you're referring to. But I'm planning to buy it this sale so I will pay attention to the IFLOLS. -
