Hi @giullep Please include a short track replay with the issue happening for our analysis.
-
Hi @jojyrocks I've ran both your tracks and couldn't observe the "stutters" you mention. I also ran the instant actions missions on my own and saw a smooth fps throughout. If you are experiencing performance issues, please check your settings, perhaps reduce some of the graphics options. You have a more than capable PC to run DCS, but perhaps you need some optimization. Other than that, check if you have any mods installed, disable them to try again. Also, you can try a repair or even a cleanup (available in the launcher). As a final suggestion, try deleting the FXO and Metashader folders in your Saved Games/DCS folder if the problem persists.

'CHECK TRIM' caution remain even if there is no WoW
Lord Vader replied to wwWolfcom's topic in Bugs and Problems
Hi @wwWolfcom I think you're trying to go around the main issue. The advisories, especially those in the top line in bigger "all caps" letters are mandatory to address. If you take off with those advisories, you are not following the correct procedures. I can understand that the lingering advisory after you do take off is a nuisance, but you are not within safe and operational parameters. -
Hi @kotor633 According to our references, wing tanks do not exclusively require CAT III, neither do all air-to-air configurations require CAT I. The DCS: F-16C manual has been updated recently, a very extensive update with lots of new items and correctios. However, some items may still require further corrections. Stay tuned.

Hey everyone. We understand that the trim for the anti-torque pedals isn't ideal for all. I've raised your concerns to the team, hopefully the trim options will be worked on in future updates. Thanks for your patience Regarding the AFCS switch, this is working correctly. If you take a look at the assignment description, UP or DOWN is related to the Switch Position, not aircraft behaviour. Just as in other aircraft, pressing the switch up will lower the nose and the pressing it down will do the opposite. This logic comes from the early aircraft trim wheels. If you moved the wheel forth or upwards, the nose would go down and vice-versa. Even today's airliners, like the Boeing 737, maintain this logic.

Hello @teewhite7 What you are describing sounds like a controller issue. However, in order to be sure, please perform a short flight with a demonstration of your issue and please share that track here. Thanks.

Hi all I raised this internally for analysis. Hopefully it will be fixed in the next update.

I've talked internally and the change was intentional to pave the way for upcoming improvements. Thanks for understanding. For now, you may need to trust George a little more.

known issue Moving Map Does Not Update Position when ENU On
Lord Vader replied to WOPR's topic in Bugs and Problems
Hello @WOPR This is a known issue for some time. The DCS: CH-47F inertial system is still being worked on. For the time being, don't operated the ENUs. Thanks for understanding. -
Hello @Floyd1212 When you switch between stations you're basically handing full control to the AI when you leave that station. VID should be seen as a visual reference only as the CPG has full control over the sensors on his own station. I've asked if this was an intentional change, but I am pretty sure this is just George making his selection.

correct as is Maverick Boresight issue
Lord Vader replied to NSAdonis85's topic in Bugs and Problems
Hello @NSAdonis85 What you are seeing are the deltas added by moving the cursor to make your alignments. Try pressing TMS Aft or press "CZ" on the MFD's to zero the cursor position. -
@VarZat This is reported, therefore it will be fixed in future updates.

wip nvg wont turn off switching between pilots
Lord Vader replied to bephanten's topic in Bugs and Problems
Hey @bephanten The DCS: CH-47F pilot bodies are still WIP. We have another item to correct regarding their animations and that may be related to this item. Thanks for bringing this to us.- 1 reply

Hello @Bucic I tried to replicate the same perspective, with or without the pilot body and cannot reproduce this issue. Do you have any mods installed? Can you supply a shorter track with the issue occurring? Perhaps just an instant action or training mission like I did above. Thanks for understanding.

TDOA doesn’t update threat ring for flightlead
Lord Vader replied to VarZat's topic in Bugs and Problems
Again, it's working as intended from our sources (including SME's) and according to internal tests. Thanks. -
reported pilot copilot in stuck position with trackir
Lord Vader replied to bephanten's topic in Bugs and Problems
Hey @bephanten. I believe this is related to the crewmember bodies being WIP at this time. But it does look weird to me as well. I've raised this internally for analysis. -
Hey @aurocia Please provide a track file of the situation you're describing, since I just tested and it looked OK. Do you check the proper key bindings for the AI layer assignments?
-
Hey, @PD919 Please provide a track file with this issue you're experiencing. I've just quickly checked the F/A-18C ATFLIR behaviour and it looks ok. Thanks.

TDOA doesn’t update threat ring for flightlead
Lord Vader replied to VarZat's topic in Bugs and Problems
Currently, ground threats are displayed (or not) based on a Mission Editor setting. So if the mission creator determines the SAM is observed in the MFD, it will be displayed with the station ID and threat ring or it will be entirely omitted. This kind of information on the MFD is a collection of intel, it doesn't "detect" or "guess" positions. If I receive this intel on mission start (via ME and in the future with DTC), but the station is mobile, for example, it can be erroneous and only be updated by datalink share. I think you are relying too much on the HSD page for a SEAD mission, possible due to the perceived safety it can theoretically provide with the mentioned threat rings. Again, this can be a bit deceiving if the station is not exactly where it should be. In a SEAD mission, not only the gathered intel is necessary, the HTP is your best tool. In such an environment, you need to consider the HTS system as your main source and the HSD as sort of a guideline if the data is available. TDOA makes it accurate to pinpoint locations and if you really want everyone to have the exact locations and rings, then you need to work as a team.
