I would really love to have winter textures for this map. The terrain, despite being intended for WWII fixed wing operations, happens to be the best helicopter terrain so far in DCS. In my squadron we have already done two modern helicopter campaings on this terrain. Please consider the winter version..pls..pls…

The numbers and text should be easy to read in any lighting condition. I use a monitor and have to constantly play with the zoom and FOV to get the information I need. Although I have not flown the CH-47F, I have a lot of experience flying various glass cockpit helicopters IRL, and in all of them you can easily read the displayed information at a glance. I am not sure if this is a module issue or if it is due to my own sim configuration, graphics set up ..... In any case, what I am getting at the moment is not satisfactory and I hope a solution can be found.

I am not sure if I do understand your statement correctly. So you are in an autorrotation at 0 Kts airspeed with throttle closed... I am not sure how do you expect the helicopter to react but an autorrotation at 0 Knots airspeed any helicopter "reacts badly". If you have no pitch in your blades you are droping like hell but that is not vortex since for a vortex ring state to develop you need pitch and power. No vortex ring during an autorotation with no pitch or power. I am not sure what would be your expectations of how the helicopter "should" behave in a vertical autorrotation but in any case unless you get some airspeed before your flare, you will crash. If you could clarify a bit better your question. Maybe I have not understood your point. What do you think it is wrong with the module it will help to understand the "issue"

The provided User manual in Chapter 16.1.3 states that: Additionally In the actual build, the above mentioned switch only goes from OFF to ON and there is no NVG Compatible light available.

Polychop, please release the paintkit when possible. There is a lot of love for the aircraft now and talented painters are awaiting for the paintkit to create skins.

Thanks for the answer Eight Ball. I do understand however it is a bit sad to hear since the OH-6 lacks some of the navigational and night operation capabilities of the Kiowa Warrior for missions where we wanted to "emulate" the MH-6M capabilities. In any case, thanks a lot for the excellent mods that you have created. Highly appreciated and welcomed !!!!!!!!!

Hi EightBall. Would you consider making a similar attachments mod for the Kiowa so we could transport soldiers in benches emulating the MH-6 Little Birds? The Kiowa could emulate the Little Birds for some very interesting missions.

I had the same issue while trying to ad PP to a route and the full game crashed to desktop inmediately.

I have purchased this module. I am interested in the aircraft and Polychop is not Razbam. I will let ED and Razbam resolve their differences and will keep enjoying DCS on the meantime as I have been doing since they released the first version of the A-10C long before DCS World existed.

This campaing looks very interesting however I have already purchased several campaings but I have never finished them because I got tired of having to deal with the AI wingman or section. If this campaing „could be“ flown single ship without having the need to have the other aircraft to survive and targets could be managed single ship (weapons loadout) I would buy it inmediately. I do surely understand that in the real world fighters do not operate alone but I do not know/do not like having to mess with the AI and that takes all the fun away. -

Track replay is broken for files done with previous builds

I am trying to replay the tracks I recorded before the merge and they are not working properly. I usually fly the Apache in multicrew, so I do not know if this is just an Apache issue or not. On tracks recorded in the Normandy map with multiple multicrewed Apaches, there is no human player or activity in the track. In the Apache session flown in Syria, I was the server and I usually fly as CPG, the track shows only the pilot. Before the merge, when I recoded the track as CPG, the track showed the CPG. Even some tracks I used a few weeks ago to create some videos are not working now. I have not been able to do a multiplayer flight with the new build, so I do not know if this happens with the new version, but in my case the old files just do not work anymore. The files are too heavy to upload here, but maybe you can try to replay your old tracks (if possible in Normandy or with the Apache in multicrew) and see if it reproduces on your side.

I fully support these 4 functionalities that would give a tremendous value and primary capabilities to this airframe within DCS missions. For gunship version I do not see the same value while it would surely require significant changes to the standard aircraft

Ground vehicles with a planned route will lose that route and stay in the same place where they just boarded the troops instead continuing to the next planned waypoint. So the troops actually board the vehicle without a problem, but once they are on board, you can even see in F10 that the vehicle route disappears. Another "interesting" issue is that in the ME, when assigning a group of soldiers to load, the system gives a decimal to the number of soldiers. I attach an example from ME. So, for example, if you try to load 4 soldiers in a Kamaz, the group is sized as 3.6 soldiers. See picture I have used the embark and disembark function before and I am familiar with how this works but unless something has changed in this latest version I am unable to get it to work. I attach a very simple example. Test boarding.miz No Mods Tested in Multithread Preview 2.9.2.49940 If I am doing something wrong or missing something, please let me know. Thanks -
I am happy with an E with realistic setup and loadouts. I‘d rather have historically accurate aircraft with its era limitations than having „generic platforms“ that can be customized creatively to something not real. This is the way most DCS modules have been created and so far it is working real nice IMHO.

There are some errors on the Beagle Channel depths. It should be transitable by large ships but in some areas in DCS ony very shallow draft crafts can go through, for instance in the area of Caleta Olla and with the convergence of chanels. Here is a chart with some of the shallows in the area, in meters and you can see the differences between the DCS terrain. Please fix this we do need the channel navigable for most ships. Thanks

I do really welcome the decision of releasing the manual before the release of the module. People have time to familiarize themselves with the aircraft before it is released and also people not sure if interested in the aircraft, can get a good glipse of the product depth and quality and maybe that will motívate them to purchase it. In any case I had already pre-ordered from day one. Thanks for the manual.
