  1. Did you try to use older drivers? As I wrote above, using 21.5.2 everything is smooth. I tried the latest drivers (22.7.something) and 22.5.1 and it was nightmare (especially the newest one). Maybe other drivers will be good as well, somewhere they introduced something that broke VR. Anyway I am going to file a proper bug report to AMD tonight, I don't know if other people did the same.
  2. This is probably true, but who have a 5900x and an AM4 motherboard has no upgrade path. So if the 5800x3d is so good for VR Flight Sims like DCS, where a ms less can be the difference between full FPS vs Reprojection I don't see it too much a waste of money.
  3. Hi everyone I am a new 6900xt user. The card is a beast, but in VR there are a lot of issues. I have a Valve Index and as soon as the FPS goes down from 80 (I have the index screen set-up at 80hz) everything is screwed up...Motion Smoothing or not. I have found that older drivers (21.5.2) from May 2021, works well and allow me to use Motion Smoothing in the same way my older Nvidia Card did (2080ti), of course with a lot of performance more. So I don't understand how it is possible that VR is broken (motion smoothing and all reprojection technologies mainly) from more then an year, and AMD seems to not be aware of the issue (never mentioned in their known issues). Is there a way to report it to AMD? Reprojection Alghoritms are a necessity for VR Flight Simming. And yes I am aware that a lot of people here says that they don't use it and are fine...but it is not my case as I am very unconfortable without it. And anyway it is not acceptable that a card which cost about 1000 euros does not have all the options available and for a so long time.

    Vendo Jetpad

  7. Hi, I will try your app with the ipad. I think it is worth to add also ampcd, maybe you could have a page with amcpcd and ufc together. Is there also away to export screens to your app?
  8. Everyone's wish the superbug....
  9. Rome....
  10. I guess those ghosting issues are due to the USB connection and the encoding/decoding which happens. So with the display port probably everything will be solved
  11. I loved it too...I am seeking company to go see it the forth time [emoji28]
  12. Unfortunately the only very good ffb implementations in dcs are f14 and F5. One solution could be to write an external program which takes telemetry from dcs and adds to the stock ffb implentation, sort of how Brunner implemented dcs ffb support.
  13. There is no such effect. The only module with these effects is the tomcat
  14. Perfect that is what I wanted to know. So i just need to use the --force_SteamVr flag in the dcs shortcut..is that correct? One last question, last time I tried to run oculus with SteamVR the headset mask in dcs was not working, has this been corrected now? As stated above, probably only tomorrow I will be able to try all this
  15. This is a WMR post, so it is normal that Oculus is not mentioned in the first post. Anyway to get rid of SteamVR you are using OpenComposite, which is an Oculus addon, later ported to WMR also. I used long time ago to substitute steamvr for games that don't use oculus software (for example Il2 BOS or the games bought on steamvr). Also you can launch dcs in steamvr also with oculus headset, but the main thing here is openxr, which oculus already supports natively and openxr-toolkit benefits (NIS/FSR/fixed foveted rendering etc). So being unable to try that right now, the point here is if to benefit of open-xr-toolkit features with an oculus headset (rift s/quest) it is needed to launch dcs in steamvr mode or it just works with oculus software also. Probably I will be able to verify this only tomorrow, but if someone will be able to test and let me know would be a good thing.
  16. No it has always been this way...no movement with trim for the Hornet...apparently it is so also in real life
  17. It should be supported..why do you say different? Oculus natively support openxr is just an option in the software
  18. The ffb implementationin the Hornet is just self centering. No trim force
  19. Ok thanks again. But if possible could you (or someone else [emoji3]) clarify if then i have to launch dcs with "SteamVR " Or openxr toolkit can work just fine with oculus software
  20. What is ACC? To use oculus headset with openxr there is the need to launch with --force_steamvr or the openxr toolkit nis/fsr/foveted rendering works just normally with oculus software? Thanks
  21. So setting openxr in oculus software is enough to make openxr tools working? Is also opencomposite working without the need of oculus software? Your passages seems equal to WMR ones but I don't see any reference to which settings to use in oculus software Inviato dal mio Pixel 6 utilizzando Tapatalk
