  1. Yeah Mig-15 too.
  2. Enjoy The red flag. It takes bit commitment (long flights) - but it teaches many cool Viggen things. The PDF briefings and mission data cards for each mission are also awesome. Lähetetty minun EVA-L09 laitteesta Tapatalkilla
  3. Actually - it is finished. And fifth mission is the final mission of the mini campaign - so content wise, you're not losing anything even if it crashes. But we will get a longer campaign later on.
  4. It seems this is not MiG-15 specific - I get the same behaviour in the Viggen too for example.
  5. Viggen controls are bit of a mess IMHO. There are small inconsistencies with naming, categories, missing controls, duplicate controls and so on - I hope these are sorted out eventually :) In addition to this problem: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=229779 I found out couple more missing controls: -Indicator System Test (KONTROLL) There is 'KONTROLL Light Test' listed but it doesn't seem to do anything? Also cannot bind: -Restart (Äterstart) In addition, what is 'Startknabb' supposed to do? Automatic start?
  6. Thanks for the updated manual. A question - will there be more emergency procedures listed? For example - I've had couple times a hydraulic system failure - and despite the systems are mentioned in the manual, there's no procedures what to do when a failure occurs.
  7. Wen't from X52 to Warthog six months ago - and it's just different league. The weight & solid build quality alone impressed me. Does feel 'real' instead of 'toy'. And it's much more precise - would not ever go back. And I dunno about problems as I have used it only for 6 months. Smooth as a butter and very precise & robust feel to it. But even in the worst case scenario - as the stick is so popular - there's tons of options to modify/DIY/repair your hotas. Only flaw I can think of right now is the throttle mini stick - which is bit poor design ergonomically.
  8. Thanks for the link - interesting read for sure. But I didn't find an answer why the afterburner dies and does not come back after reaching around 14km?
  9. I dunno if it's related - but there are two entries for 'Autothrottle mode AFK' One can be found in the list with 'ALL' - other can be accessed when choosing the 'AUTOPILOT' subcategory. See the screenshots - it's the same name but they are not the same 'Autothrottle mode AFK' - there is keybinding assigned in the other one (Autopilot), but not in the other one (All). I am using the one that can be found in the 'AUTOPILOT' subcategory - and atleast that one is working.
  10. Yeah - exactly that. Saab 210 'Lildraken'- a proof of concept for the radical Draken design before they committed to it fully. http://www.aircraftinformation.info/art_draken.htm
  11. Is this Tomcat or just Crash Laobi humour...
  12. Yes. Haven't personally checked all those programs - but they all should be able to do what you want. Lähetetty minun EVA-L09 laitteesta Tapatalkilla
  13. No need for Lua. With Bodnar you can have on-off switch do two things - just use one of those programs suggested. Lähetetty minun EVA-L09 laitteesta Tapatalkilla
  14. Depends on what program you use to set your keybindings. Basically you just use one of those programs to set the keybindings for the Bodnar board - instead of setting them inside DCS. You just set keyboard commands - and the program will convert your Bodnar toggle switches to keyboard presses. I personally use X Padder - mainly because it's fairly easy to use, it can differentiate between left & right Ctrl/Shift/Alt and you can also set signal OFF commands. Among other things I have used it to set keys for TM Hotas throttle - as most of the toggle switches are ON-OFF so they need a program to make them more useful. It costs 8 euros and can be bought from the website https://www.xpadder.com/ You might wanna explore free options first to see if something works for you though.
  15. Yeah - I've got flickering too. Flat shadows.
  16. Ive kinda wondered about that too - I never seem to have target waypoint excatly on target. Even if my nav is accurate and other waypoints are where they should be. Lähetetty minun EVA-L09 laitteesta Tapatalkilla
  17. Heatblur mentioned that plans to finalize the Viggen will be revealed early this year. So hopefully really soonwe are wiser on this matter :) Lähetetty minun EVA-L09 laitteesta Tapatalkilla
  18. I find it amazing that people are already finding all kind of problems, bugs & flaws in a module that is not out yet. Let Razbam bring it out to public - and lets get to know the plane first. Im just really looking forwards flying a cool plane! And I know Im not alone - but it all seems to get lost in all these overly critical threads. Lähetetty minun EVA-L09 laitteesta Tapatalkilla
  19. If you choose a number with Base Selector -> A, C or D. Fixed airport channels. If you choose ALLM Base Selector -> G, F or E. These can be adjusted in the mission editor.
  20. ... and no background lighting in neither of those (as can be clearly seen in the first screen shot). That has been bugging me quite a lot - probably more than it should but it comes up relatively often that I need to zoom in some extra to see the number :)
  21. ... it should do that? Wow - Viggen autopilot is even better than I thought. But no, it doesn't steer me back on course.
  22. What @Yurgon says. Just choose a setting that seems most natural for you and try to get yourself familiarized with it - just fly, fly, fly. Personally, no curves for me - makes the controls feel unnatural. I used to have Saitek X52 and the TM Warthog certainly needed some getting used to because it felt so different - having already learned to do things 'X52 way'. So I basically had to learn to do things again, correct control amounts etc.
  23. ...you want red modules - but when there's one coming out you dont want it? Even if it would directly support the next red module coming out by the same team?
  24. ... and Im hoping we have F-105 Thunderchief one day :) Reading threads like this makes me wanna hop back into F-5. I bought it while back but Viggen & Mig-15 have been more interesting to me. I think it's the lack of story driven campaign thats F-5 seems to be missing - or is there something you can recommend?
