Its been screwed up for a long time. Possibly since they fixed the datalink fps hit.

Not enough information. Suggest anyway that you launch your DCS versions using The DCS Updater GUI / Launcher Utility https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=160053 You might also wait for the expected next week fix for many 2.56 problems.

"these posts" deleted ? That link not working for me.

Cringeworthy. Does not even fit the term "NEWS"

Its not good enough yet.

Saying that anti skid on produces the minimum stopping distance assumes that it is correctly set and that cant be assumed with so much else badly setup within the sim/module. Having said that, controlling the aircraft without it is likely disaster.
-
Maybe it depends on your meaning of effective but they just have more bite. Or rather there is more wheel revolutions of braking instead of release to prevent lockup/skid.
-
More effective if you turn off anti skid but that's likely to brings its own problems. (and might fade fast, I have not tested that)

Ive read here that running the mirror (of 1 eyes view) in full screen is less gpu work. No idea if true.

I've only just read this reply but it seems a very poorly considered one when the OP claimed the jet simply did not respond to actual input from stick. That sounds less like a lack stick sensitivity and more like lack of detection by code sensitivity. Yes and as others said spending mega bucks just to have reasonable control is bonkers.

I have to wonder how much happier you would be if you had your poll results to ponder over ? Pointless. -

Have you tried the F-16C Readable MFDs mod ? Makes the white whiter -
INS Alignment : How Precise Does It Need To Be?
CobaltUK replied to flyingace's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
We don't have the real jet. What's your point? We all hope realism will improve with this sim. -
I suggest the people who would "gladly pay" do so. Not a subscription but a charitable donation because they clearly think ED is a deserving cause. There seem to be a great many people eager to pay more by one means or another. Good luck to them but you do not speak for the majority I feel certain. EA should be time limited. My preference would be a max of 12 months by which time it must be a complete feature finished product.

You cant move/roll until you move switch to nav. If you do u will corrupt the alignment. If you select nav, move, stop and select Align again it re starts from the beginning. Until you are dropping lgbs on pre planned tgts (PPT`s) then not much stopping you taking off as soon as RDY comes up. (in my experience so far) -

These are 2D not vr fps as the OP was 2d or didn't say otherwise I haven't bothered checking losses in vr but it causes me no issues there either. -
Who is using a tm cougar hotas
CobaltUK replied to BlacleyCole's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
I use the range knob for antenna and its smooth action and positive centre is great for that purpose. I would use it in preference to the correct ant elv wheel even if that wheel did not suffer like most do. The Ant wheel is adequate for range use even in its poor state. -
We are on the same tack if you did not realise :)

INS Alignment : How Precise Does It Need To Be?
CobaltUK replied to flyingace's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
The earliest rdy/align (in this sim as of now) allows me to fly to entered SP well over 100 miles away but as I already said its not likely good enough for weapon delivery I.E PPT. So yes you can select NAV and set off on mission if you only need to navigate to a SP, not for precise TGT location. WAGS video and probably the docs also, describe the process in full. At the moment, rdy/align is fine for mp servers.
