  1. Given alll the ST specific bugs people are reporting, then yes quite a lot. I even had someone on a dcs Facebook group not knowing that MT even existed.
  2. Haven't done a proper DCS video in almost a month with family vacation, there has been little time to spend hours editing videos. I took out the Apache a module I’m absolutely not great at, but we did put warheads to foreheads, protecting the Chinook MEDEVAC, as they picked up 3 wounded British soldiers, in the process we neutralized the Taliban threat that had attacked the British land rover column. As I went in for landing, I discovered I had a deadzone on my collective exactly were the hover point was with the current weight of the helicopter, ground hover seems to be around mid 70s power, but my collective jumped from low 70s to mid 80s, meaning I either fell too fast to the ground or shot into the air. Concentrating on my collective and trying to find that point, I naturally paid little attention to the cycling and things went downhill, but I did manage to get back into control, and did land okish, no damage. Sucky landing on an otherwise very successful mission.

  5. This happens with or with out waypoints set up crazy apache.trk
  6. You can't do anything with the accuracy, but you can make units immortal or invisible to other AI. Then have ground units fire at points. That way you'll have ground battles that last longer. The invisibility and immortality can be turned of at moments you feel appropriate
  7. Because now infantry or tanks will wipe each other out in seconds. Naturally that doesn't happen in real life
  8. @BammBamm has provided a track.
  9. Which is true for all medium range missiles in DCS. AMRAAM C can reach out and touch someone at almost 60nm under ideal circumstances. Get down to 6000 feet and the same missile is almost useless at 14nm
  10. DCS looks fantastic 2024 graphics except water. Which look 2006. The two ww2 sims I fly have har superior English channel water. Looks far more real. I had hoped Afghanistan with its big flowing river would be the start of a major water overhali from ED, but doesn't look like it. Helmand river looks exactly like all the other rivers. As in elongated lakes.
  11. I've watched several videos and I follow them. When they press in the ILS frequency they get command steering right away, I only get it some times. Then suddenly the command steering circle just disappear. On top of that I don't get ATC while flying on line, only in singleplayer. comand stering.trk
  12. Nope
  13. I planned on doing that but apparently Kandahar doesn't have ILS. Does the ILS work right on Banak?
  14. I set up Bodø tacan 45. I set up ILS 110.30 And direction 72°. I get the little steering cue and things seem to go OK. Until suddenly the little round ball I'm following gets locked and get an X over it. And the tacan distance starts to increase. I fly and usually hit the water a mile or so from the landing strip and usually to the side.
  15. Which is a bit odd. While the K4 is very powerful and light. The A8 has no more power than the Mk IX but is a lot heavier, so should be less affected by the torque.
  16. Trying to take off the Spit or k4 with max power seems needlessly dangerous. Luck for the Spitfire. You bearly need power to take off. You can take off with 2400rpm and boost 4 if you feel like it and you'd still be airborne before half the short grass runway is used. The 109 doesn't have the insane light of the Spitfire. So it will eat into that runway before it takes off at lower power.
  17. This is my most boomer aspect. I don't like dark mode. Having grown up with Internet message boards. I've grown accustomed to old school light mode.
  18. Haven't tested MIG killers yet(but naturally I have bought it) but in general DCS has terrible medium range spotting, not sure exactly what DCS does to make this happen. But like details get darkened and blend into the environment. It's extremely noticeable when flying WW2, especially since you can easily compare to other ww2 sims. A very typical example would be the yellow noses of the German fighters. The yellow colour gets grayed out and only at very close range can we clearly see the yellow. In the two other ww2 sims I fly. Those yellow noses are clear and easy to spot even at some distance. Much like first hand accounts describe. So it's something DCS does that just removes details as relatively close range. Even telling the difference between the rounded wings of a Spitfire and square wings of the German aircraft. Are far harder than it should be.
  19. Sadly I can't get out of the grocery store without spending $150 for a few days of food. And given I've spent thousands on flight sim hardware the last few years.(including a winwing F16 HOTAS just for F16) I can't spend 100 bucks on a tiny little thingy like that.
  20. DCS preformance (especially in VR) goes up and down all the time. So it's kinda rutine. Quite different from a portion of map just deleted with no warning. My preformance has also taken a dive the last few patches. But it's just what it is.
  21. The F16 wasn't really in the state to be used in Campaigns until relatively recently. There's 3 Campaigns out now. And a 4th on the way
  22. The MiG15 and MiG21 er the outliers. Most of the jets even if they somewhat over preform has been nerfed by the BFM AI that was added a few years back. It made stuff like MiG29, Su27, F18 behave more realistically based on their aircraft advantages (F18 preferring 1 circle vs F16 preferring 2 circle) the MIG 15 and 21 did not appear to have been affected buy this update as their behaviour is same as it was before the BFM update. MIG21 is made by mag3, the MiG15 was made by a semi independent party thar now doesn't exist anymore. While all AI aircraft over preform. The 21 and 15 are in their own league using star trek impulse drive.
  23. Just use any vehicle. And set it to explode on mission start with trigger. And you got yourself a perfect simulation of the cyber truck
  24. But the AI handle based on what the aircraft stats are(or Spitfires would go Mach 2) There's obviously something wrong with the preformance of the 21. Which us Mag 3's responsibility to fix.
