The incompetence in this video is shocking! One thing is me not hitting stuff with bombs, but the AI was as bad as me. At least we shot down the 4 MiGs. But other than that the F-4s can only claim 1 damaged 100mm Gun. Luckily our armor saved our bacon, even if we were there to save them. Next mission will be a counter attack, and the Iraqis have now brought their T72s to the front, a much harder nut to crack for the Chieftains. So if we can’t soften up the enemy defensive line, the counter attack will fail.

So 20knots seems excessive for dust trail to appear behind vehicles driving in the sand in a desert. I mean horses and camels moving at 20km would probably make dust in the desert. And that's just about 10knots.

Been away from DCS for a whole week. Needed to ease back in. So German vs French themed 80s Dogfight with mid/late 80s missiles.

It's probably a preformance thing. Aircraft launched missiles, ground launched missiles and ship launched missiles all produce less smoke and dust than they should. Same goes for smoke from bombs, especially the larger 1000-2000lb stuff.

Same thing that happens if you add full power on take off in the 109K4 in DCS.

I don't don't think we can expect any info on that untill/if the Corsair is released and even then who knows. Mag3 ain't exactly good at telling their customer/potential customers much. I hope that is because they are such a small team and that will improve if the Corsair is a success.

So not the same, MAC and FC4 are two different things. When they announced FC4 a few months back the MiG21 was not part of the FC4.

While I generally agree with you. I try and set up as many control binding outside of VR. As that is far easier. Using search, the controls are easier to map etc. So with a new module or setting up an old one. I start DCS without vr. Test that axis aren't wrong and ned to be reversed etc.

Done repair, deleted mods etc, still can't hear any flight on the same frequency except my own flight. I had 8 F16s and 3 F18s on the same frequency, all AI told to report engaging and kills, but only my own flight reported, even though several of the F18s also fired.

This happens quite often, only really flown F16 on Kola, so it might be F16 only bug. But I can not contact ATC, this has happened several times with Lakselv/Banak and today it happened at Bodø too. Can not contract ATC. I tell them inbounds, but never get a reply

The F4 is the only aircraft that shakes like that, I've tested most of the other ones, and the F4 is the only one that does so.

I got a nasty suprise when I was leading 8 F16s towards 12 Su33s out over the Norwegian sea, my MAN RNG knob didn't work, so couldn't lock on to the Su33s... I have an F-16 Winwing Orion 2 throttle, I had it in AA mode, I had master arm on and AIM120C selected. But the know would not work, I did a test both online and single player it did not work, in my self made mission or ED free flight. Tested it on the F18 free flight and it worked as it should(radar elevation) It's just the F16 it doesn't work on. (yes I've checked that it's actually bound. ) Track from my mission, This is the first time I'm using the F16 since the patch that dropped the F4, before the patch it worked. Flying the Kiowa and looking at the track. It appears RPGs don't fire RPG rounds but I'm guessing tank shell? Or some AAA round? Given Afghanistan is coming, improved infantry models and animations. It would be be nice if the Rocket propelled granade. Was a rocket and granade not a shell.

Welcome to FOB Husky First Episode in FOB Husky: QRF Close Air Support. Marines are in trouble in the city, and need support. A relief column is on the way, but they need some air support. A successful rocket strafe takes out almost all the enemies(and nobody lived in that building I hit by accident). I then spend 10 minutes trying to take out two guys with RPGs. One guy survived the original rocket strafe and then survived 4 gun strafes too(with bullets hitting all around him.) He also almost got me like 4 times with the RPG. Also my wingman, Howling Mad Murdock did a very stupid thing, He will be missed.
