  1. Dont get why one should use a VPN for playing games. VPN is a bottleneck anyway, performance killer. Just forward the Port(s) to your PC, start a server (optional: give friends your external IP, otherwise make it public but password protected, so they see the server in the list) and play. No need for big groups and paid dedicated serves, I'm running my own games this way without a rented server. Dont blame DCS for you not being able to configure your network. If you use hardware that is required for runing a private network of PCs at home (router) you should be able to configure it, instead of blaming the software not supporting any workarounds http://www.portforward.com

  4. Hey, nimm dir nur den Code von der Steam Version und lad DCS World und die Module am besten direkt von der Shop Seite runter (http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com). Dann kannst das separat installieren und zur Aktivierung den Code von der Steam Version nutzen. Vielleicht geht es dann.

  6. I find semi auto okay. I never use Auto mode, because on friendly Mav launches it keeps firing out all the flares...

  12. Effective range, okay, but that doesn't explain why my wingman, flying the same aircraft and radar, can engage a target, that doesn't even appear on my radar. On my radar it appeared like 15 seconds later
  13. Big big thanks to Keats, the mission is working again. Seemed to be something wrong with the AI Push order. I reuploaded the mission files (see first post) in version 1.04 Of course, would be nice to get some feedback ;)
  14. Hi, I tried the F-15C a bit yesterday, and noticed, that I have some issues with finding Air targets. I set up a simple scenario, my F-15 + wingman vs. 2 SU-27 about 200 miles away, on a head on course. Now I kept scanning for the targets, but they didn't appear on my radar. Radar was in RWS mode and set to 160 range, with the elevation from 0 to 35 (I set the SUs to 25000 ft MSL). First thing happened was the 2 SU radars appearing on my RWR. Short time after that my wingman reported, that he has found the two SUs. and much later they appeared on my radar. Why did they appear so late on my radar? I'm not entirely sure about this, but I think at the moment, I found them, they were already shooting at me.. edit: tried it after that with a Yak, it also appeared on my radar at about 80 - 90 nm
  15. If I remember correctly the EEGS works with radar lock. The A-10C has no radar (except the altitude radar :-D )
  16. I liked 688(i) Hunter/Killer, and loved Dangerous Waters. The latter also for the simulation of the frigate. I would not even hesitate to buy any DCS Sea module, as long as it's a real simulation (Warthog level).
  17. The reason why I have 16 GB of RAM is not a single program like DCS, but more or less other programs that run in the background. So I have a greater buffer. And with the RAM prices, there is no great reason against having a little more RAM. Things evolve quickly, there was a time, where I had 4 MB of RAM and 83 MB of HDD, and that was more than enough.. ;)
  18. In my mission the vehicles (Darknight) won't move, when the A-10 are in the trigger zone "Hawg on station". I can't see any reason for this effect in the editor.   19. Hm, they seem to move 2-3 meters forward and hold then. unfortunately I can't see any reason for this, too. :(

  21. I managed to alter the code, so that you can unload Fuel, Cargo or Passengers now. This is my first time with lua, I know the 3 additional functions are not good programming style, but it was the only way that I could figure out to work in the time.. Unfortunately it still doesn't check which type of cargo you loaded, so you can load fuel and unload passengers..but I think it's a nice first step..   24. The missions I tested also always crash at the same point. In my mission always after 1 or 2 seconds, in the Transport Tutorial always when the truck with the preloaded troops spawns the infantry
