    Updated UFC

How do you know what’s planned for the ARC-210? Please keep this thread to the topic originally posted, updating the UFC for ARC-210 integration.
  2. Deleted to not break rules.
  3. Check your controller settings, for me the 2 stage trigger wasn’t mapped correctly initially.
  4. Think you’re mixing up the bitching Betty alerts and the landing gear warning horn going off every time the MC illuminated. There is a current but with bitching Betty not working.
  5. The blank button to the left of the "BCK" button on the CDU is the delete mark point button. Pressing it deletes the mark point displayed on the WAYPT page. I don't think it works in DCS though, haven't tried it in years.
  6. What that is for in the real jet is to take a picture of what's in the right MFCD by default and then you can message it through the message page. You can take a picture of the left MFCD as well but it must be SOI. I don't expect that we'll actually get that feature but it would be awesome in MP!!
  7. I'm trying to be a productive, and positive helper :D  In all seriousness please pass on to the devs that they are doing great and hopefully some of the bugs I reported 8 years ago finally get fixed!! :smilewink: I'm very impressed with what they have done and included in HMCS so far. Hopefully these items will get included eventually as well. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4508242&postcount=5
  8. True but even in VR the head position is to far forward compared to where it is when sitting in a real jet. But I've gotten use to adjusting the seat and zooming out some so no biggie for me.
  9. I have to agree and it's not even "done" yet. Most won't care about the ARC-210 but if SRS can get the information and/or ED gets their VOIP with realistic radio functions that'll be awesome too! Good Job ED, and as always with anything concerning the A-10C anything I can do to help let me know!!
  10. The occlusion zone is a defined area within the display of the helmet that only allows certain symbology to display. Items like the flight instruments, engine gauges and , HUD are normally included in the zone to ensure unhindered visibility. In the real A-10C you can preview the occlusion zone and set it to various default zones or create custom ones. We don’t have this option in the A-10C II. The various settings are: None: no occlusion zone, the same as setting all symbols to ON. HUD – the occlusion zone just around the HUD. INSTRMTS – the occlusion zone around the instrument panel BOTH – the occlusion zone around both the HUD display and instrument panels (what we have in the A-10C II) CUSTOM – pilot defined occlusion zone.
  11. It’s a bug, noticed it today myself
  12. You can just not through HOTAS commands. See this thread: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4508377&postcount=40

    Updated UFC

ED is supposedly working on internal VOIP and simulation of the radios so it would apply when they get that done.
  14. The simulated "gateway" is not done correctly currently, at least in MP

    Flashlight

Agreed, a lot of our pilots wear a green flashlight on their right pointer finger when flying at night.
  16. Not 100% accurate
  17. It's "correct as is" for HOTAS commands but we should be able to boresight by pressing "B-S" (OSB 5) when in A-G or A-A modes but it isn't an option that ED has included in the TGP.

    Updated UFC

With the ARC-210 on the horizon, and with the upgrades in the A-10C II are there plans to update the UFC to keep it in line with other suite upgrades that we have received? Specifically the COM 1, COM SEC, IFF, COM 2, ECCM and IDR R/T buttons? At a minimum I'd like to see: COM 1 key (interact with the ARC-210 through the UFC and HUD) COM SEC key (toggle COMSEC mode of ARC-210) ECCM key (design ARC-210 ECCM presets) The following are niceties if ED ever improves or adds the systems: IFF select key COM 2 (interact with second ARC-210) IDM RT Select key

    Saving setups

It's not, pilots set their preferences and save to the DTC prior to stepping. Technically we should be able to do the same with the ARC-210 when we get it.
  20. Sure hope it gets implemented, it's the one major thing we're missing from HMCS.
  21. Uhm that antenna is already there and it’s a Multi use antenna. Satcom, uhf, and vhf
  22. If I'm remembering correctly one of the reasons we didn't carry them on my deployment in 15/16 was we didn't have the longer rocket pods (LAU-131A/A or LAU-68F/A). I don't recall ever seeing them loaded on the legacy pods personally. Reading through the dash 34 it states AGR-20 laser guided rockets are loaded in the LAU-131A/A or LAU68F/A. No mention of them being loaded in the legacy rocket pods. Would be nice to get the LAU-131A/A and LAU-68F/A added. https://www.arnolddefense.com/product/lau-131-a-2/ https://ndiastorage.blob.core.usgovcloudapi.net/ndia/2012/armaments/Tuesday14006paras.pdf It's only about a 12 pounds different between the 131A (66.66 LBS) and the 131A/A (78.5 LBS) but according to the A-10C-1-1 drag index is the same for the short and long pods (0.80).
  23. Guess we'll find out tomorrow...hopefully we can get a 510th and 421st pilot on the DS to check.
  24. DSMS profile yes but APKWS does not have an impact on the rocket reticle, it's the same as using regular, non laser, rockets in the real jet.
  25. Y’all want more flares (which would be useless honestly) and I just want the double ones we used my last deployment.
