  1. 100%. I love this asset pack, been an important part of my mission editing. I reverted to 2.3. Even then, some of my most important mission assets are no longer included. I would highly recommend keeping all the original assets and keep adding, instead of picking and chosing assets to no longer include, which all happen to be very popular amongst mission designers. In my latest mission, here is Khalil the Assasin's IED factory from the ISIS-K faction "Agents of Allah" in central Syria using the HD outposts and other assets not included anymore on 3.0:

  3. I can’t find the outposts. One of my favorite parts of this mod. Is it under a different category? I also am not finding the crews under statics or infantry. Possibly typo's with the lua? Edit: I saw some assets were removed. Any way to allow accessibility to 2.3 as well? Some of my most heavily used assets were not included in 3.0.

  6. Been doing DCS since the OG Lockon. No caucus terrain mod looks as realistic as this.
  7. In DCS MT, in the 4YA Caucus PVE Server, I noticed my CPU/GPU usage were both solidly hovering at about 50%. Notably, my FPS, which I have capped at 60, was a solid 60 FPS 4K single monitor with not stuttering. Excellent performance, excellent texture quality in 4K, yet it seems my CPU/GPU are not using their full potential. With exception of preload radius (set to 35300), most of my settings are maxed out. I have hyperthreading turned on in BIOS, and hardware accelerated GPU scheduling turned on in Windows 10. My system: i7 8700K at 5.3GHz, 3090 RTX, and 32GB DDR4. Samsung Evo Pro 980 2Tb M.2. Is this ideal, or does this indicate my CPU/GPU are not working to their full potential?

  9. One, the Big 'ol Buttkicker Gamer pro. At 100% can register as an earthquake lol. My advise: Unless you use Buttkickers Hapticonnect software (Which I have never used) you will need to download Simshaker for Aviators https://simshaker.com/software/general/. From the same web site, you will need to purchase the Simshaker Sound Module software. My amplifier is hooked up to DCS via a USB sound card just for the amp. There is a way to set the Windows 10 sound settings so DCS will go to your speakers and this sound card simultaneously. Why? So the amp receives pure sound telemetry data rather through a cable splitter, etc. Each aircraft has a profile on there, easy to use software, just need to tune the individual effect volumes to your preference. I have never used in a racing game, but like I said, I fly the A-10C II. I can feel the APU starting up, the engines, flap movement, even cracks on the taxi way and runways. G forces will cause a buffet like vibration, and the gun, I have it set to basically shake the chair without and loud clipping effects. It is totally an extra dimension of immersion.
  10. Been using a Buttkicker Gamer Pro transducer for just under a year with great results with Simshakers for Aviators. I fly the A-10C II. I just noticed Hapticonnect now supports DCS. Does anyone who has used both have any opinion favoring oneover the other! Thanks!
  11. Specific to the A-10C II. I love multiplayer, however find myself due to work schedule flying single player missions. I fly longer missions that require multiple trips to the tanker, and rearming. Would it be possible to direct AI flight members to land at an offsite airfield with me, rearm their aircraft, and continue taking off and rejoining to finish the mission?
  12. I mean the marker smoke in DCS, i.e instant action missions where targets are marked with colored smoke, I struggle through CCD/ IR WH and BH to see anything in the smoke.
  13. Is there a way to adjust the smoke markers so they actually mark my targets, not conceal them in smoke?

  15. Has the A-10C II soundset been updated recently? Idle engine on ground in cockpit sounds different/better.
  16. This pertains to to the latest 2.9 OB hotfix. I have been flying single player missions with a flight of four A-10C II’s, three obviously being ai. When I locate, for example, a platoon of tanks while searching a killbox with the TGP, I’ll set the group of tanks as SPI. I’ll pull up my comms menu, select ‘Flight’ then ‘Attack with’ ‘Armor’ ‘Missile’ ‘From my SPI’. Here have been my results: IF the flight even responds, they will all acknowledge, followed by flying around aimlessly for 5-10 minutes, then, after several repeated calls of targeting the tanks, they will each take turns targeting the same tank I set as SPI. I would think the flight members would sort all the tanks in the group? If not, how can I have the flight sort targets? Another issue is with AI use of CBU-105s. When Ai drop CBU-105s, they do so many times than not about 50 meters away from the target. Are there known issues with Ai completing simple tasks such as being told to attack armor, etc? I did not attach a track because these issues are easy to replicate.

  18. Looking to dive into livery editing. I noticed some amazing squadron decals on many liveries, is there an open source decal library out there? Or are many developers just creating them from scratch?
  19. Excellent livery as usual. Do you have any other A-10C II projects in the works? Would love to see the ANG’s 190th FS “Skull bangers” out of Boise!
