  1. ....looking to see if @Ditch was able to troubleshoot the problem. I plan on doing the same.
  2. yep. it's an Easter Egg. Right?
  3. I doubled checked and the specs are i7-13700K Raptor Lake 3.4GHz Sixteen-Core, MSI - B660 MAG Mortar microATX Motherboard, Ripjaws V64GB (2 x 32GB) DDR4-3600 RAM. I've been playing OB/MT for months with the Reverb G2 with no issues until lately. Also did some troubleshooting back in May 2023 with ED support (Alexander) and he was who suggested OB/MT.
  4. Here's my problem: I use an HP Reverb G2 (v2). I primarily use this device playing DCS. The problem I am having is that over time the performance is degraded (stutters, freezing, etc...) to the point that I have to restart the computer so I can continue flying. What would be the main cause of this loss in performance? BTW - this has really just started in the last month or so. Not sure if the setup or some other reason.
  5. The pashback truck handles that. It will lift the nose wheel enabling the aircraft to be reversed backwards. As far as turning radius, the F-14 could actually turn inside itself. With the nose wheel all the way in one direction with the correct taping of the brakes you could get one main mount to go backwards while the other went forward. On an aircraft that is 65 feet (19.8 m) long this helps. I would assume this could be added to the super-carrier decks. It would be cool if ED added it and the functionality.
  6. I think its a boat.

  8. In VR mode, I have noticed when transitioning from F10 map to another F#, I get a major stutter and an almost freeze. I have been able to alleviate this by pressing Esc while in the F10 map and then pressing F1 (or whatever) and then pressing Esc again. For some reason, this eliminates the stutter and freeze. But it is still a severe problem that has just recently come up.
  9. Beta Testing some of Hawkeye's Warbirds ...and farm equipment. LOL
  10. This strip is perfect for the Bronco.
  11. Yes! Voice Attack is awesome. And, Bailey has created some great profiles: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/filter/user-is-Baileywa/apply/ check them out..
  12. The AGM-88 [HARM] missiles should be loaded from the AA menu not the AG menu. They will show up as "x#x" on the hud while in A2A mode ("#" = number of missiles loaded i.e. "x4x"). I'm pretty sure the max you can load is 6. They can be launched like any other A2A missile, but I would only launch them when aiming the aircraft roughly in the direction of a SAM and when you are being tracked or launched on. It is known that the other AGMs do not work for the player. The AI can launch some AGMs, but it is a toss up and very buggy at this point. I believe Spino has that on his list to fix.
  13. Nightstorm, as you know I love your enhanced F-22.

Sorry for the dumb questions. But, I see in the thread that you made updates 2, Jan 2024. Do you have a change log posted somewhere? ...and is the latest version linked on the first page.

    1. Nightstorm

      Nightstorm

It was compatibility updates for the changes to AMRAAM coding in DCS.  No new features were added.

  14. How much longer must we wait?
  15. Thanks, but still confused. I have tried to discuss this in a previous forum topic: In the video I uploaded, I hope you can see what I'm talking about. The insert on the left is what the FOV is in VR and the back ground video is what I see when I playback the track file in the pancake display config. I would like to possibly change the pancake view to have the same FOV as the VR capture if possible. I hope this makes more sense. Digital Combat Simulator Black Shark 2023.12.23 - 23.00.13.02.m2v
  16. @BIGNEWY While I understand completely the "fairness" issue. Ultimately, it's ED's prerogative who they share that info with and some unofficial modders will just have to deal with not getting it shared with them. ED could use criteria like amount of mods available, amount of mods used by the community, length of time modding for DCS, quality of products, etc...
  17. Just wanted to share a couple creds and other things here: 1. @currenthill, @Spino and @Hawkeye60 - your mods are awesome! I use them on a regular basis and in many, many missions. @BIGNEWY and @Rudel_chw, you guys offer a great amount of support and advice - Much appreciated - keep it up! 2. I agree with @currenthill's reply "I guess one solution would be to share upcoming structural changes in DCS core with mod makers beforehand, ..." 100%. This info does not need to be shared to the entire community, just a few specific modders that create quality mods and request it outside of being in the "3rd-Party club" - you know, make them sign an NDA or something. For me, I use a lot of the VSN and currenthill mods. They are free, for Pete's sake and just plain functional and fun to fly/use as well as being very reliable. This (along with a boatload of other reasons) is why I spend so much time flying around in DCS. But, better communications with the devs would be key.
  18. Please provide more detail admiki. Thank You
  19. So, lot's of people are blaming the problem you describe above on the free third-party mods that hundreds of us use on a regular basis. While I understand it's not technically a "DCS issue", the problem really messes up playing the game. So, in turn it becomes a DCS issue. I wish someone (smarter than me) would put some effort in to fixing this type of stuff that happens on every other OB update. I mean there has to be something we can do as "Open Beta Testers" to troubleshoot these issues and support the DCS community prior to an update. Maybe better communications with the DCS dev team - IDK.
