Hi I wonder if anybody can help me with this little scripted action: 2 units: Insurgents-QRF-AAA-1 & Insurgents-QRF-MANPAD-1 Unit 1 Activated on trigger / visible before activation - semi truck drives to location - waypoint 8, at the waypoint I want it to perform command, run script to activate unit 2. Unit 2 - late activation (idea to activate when Insurgents-QRF-AAA-1 gets to its final waypoint, but not on zone if possible) Is this something easy to do? Thanks! null

  5. Let's move on. IAG is going to be whatever ED want's it to be, ME will live as long as ED want's it to. For sure, over the years, you can see various features announced and delivered or updated on for few more years is a standard for DCS so, let's see what happens in the future.

  7. IAG is meant for people who don't know how to use ME and don't want to spend time in there. ME is the main source of content for the sim, both free, self made, or paid. While I am sure ME is here to stay, at least for now, it might become secondary once the Dynamic Campaign and things like IAG are in place. For now though ME is not threatened in any way.
  8. So ... And yet, screenshots present the topic from high altitude. I really was looking forward to this map, but I am mainly ground pounder enjoying flying low or low and slow (Apache). The map in low level is terrible, with parts far worse than the old Caucasus we have.

  12. After the recent update it is somewhat better, but still a lot is unfinished / unpolished. Random green / parking lot / petroleum tanks in weird places across the map. It looks good at places but it is not any better than much older Syria map, which I regard as the best map in DCS, for its quality, diversity and much better urban, as well as rural tiles

  15. I thought I am bad virtual Apache pilot. I like the fact that this is going to be tweaked eventually.
  16. DCS 5.0 in 2030 maybe will be graphically matching the above. Terrain graphics degraded with recent maps (SE, Kola, Afghan) and it looks like it is the general direction in preparation for DCS Earth project. However, when in combat one may not have time to notice just how outdated DCS tech is, so maybe it is time to try Tomcat in this more visually appealing scenery and leave combat out for a bit...

  19. Maybe that's why N2 does not include Dover castle and other POIs that The Channel has and vice versa? Hmmm... interesting. I was really looking forward to the Israel update of the Sinai map, definitely did not see this kind of update coming though ...
