Issue: Mission Editor corrupting mission files(?)
Gierasimov replied to NoFear1979's topic in Mission Editor Bugs
Sounds almost like something in the background is interfering with the files. Antivirus maybe? -
2022 DCS Newsletter Discussion - Week 1 & Week 2 (no newsletters)
Gierasimov replied to NineLine's topic in DCS 2.9
Perfect - things I am looking forward to in 2022 are: 1. DCS: F/A-18C Hornet Finalising this fantastic module is one of our top-priorities and our goal is to have the project out of Early Access by the end of the 1st quarter 2. DCS: Supercarrier Other tasks for 2021 include plane directors to marshal aircraft to the catapults and off the landing area, the “burble”, deck crew light wands for night operations, unique radio channels for different controllers Some of the new / improved visual effects in development for 2021 includes: Improved helicopter rotor wash over water and ground. Ground unit dust clouds. Trans-sonic shock cones. Fuel explosions. Further explosion improvements. Smoke grenades 3. Vulkan API and Multi-threading With the integration of these libraries, DCS will benefit from improved performance throughout 4. Damage modelling in 2021 will focus on bringing the technology to our modern aircraft like F/A-18C Hornet 5. FLIR New and Improved Forward Looking Infrared 6. AI Units we intend to create or update in 2021: Large Aircraft: B-52H, Tu-95MS, , B-1B, IL-38 Carrier Aircraft: S-3B and SH-60B Ground Units: M1A2, Son-4 “Flap Wheel” radar,, Pantsir SA-22 “Greyhound”, and S-300/SA-10 “Grumble”. 7. 2022 DCS Newsletter Discussion - Week 1 & Week 2 (no newsletters)

That is interesting insight. Surely it would be useful to re-post 2021 roadmap with comments for 2022. I thought that was being planned. -
2021 (and earlier) DCS Newsletter Discussion Thread
Gierasimov replied to NineLine's topic in DCS 2.9
Looking at some Apache screenshots, that Phalanx CIWS mounted to a HEMTT truck will be a nice replacement of M163 units in DCS. Keep up the great work ED! -
Hi, since 2.7.7 I am having issues working with pilot - gunner logic. I ask Petrovich to look at an area where I expect a column of 3xIVFs. He looks there and locks up IFV without asking - no target list to select IFV 1, 2 or 3. Once target is locked I get constant launch tone although I am not aligned at all. In the track I overfly the target to present how the launch tone is constantly present without valid shot conditions. Maybe I am doing it wrong now? Thanks. Track is for Marianas map. BUG CHECK.trk

Funny, new laser guided rockets are included but not any other unguided ones. As am area weapon, it should be rather obvious we need that.

The way I understood progressing this map from early access to release, which was mentioned in June 18th 2021 newsletter, is that the Syria map is feature complete now. Ugra Media are proud to announce the final release of their DCS: Syria map. In the update, the island of Cyprus and a large section of southern Turkey have been added. It is worth noting that DCS: Syria is included in our 2021 Summer Sale and is now available with a 30% discount (Normal Price is $59.99). We will continue resolving bugs and deliver fixes as part of the Open Beta updates.

Hello @IronMike, Recently Heatblur updated the FAQ and listed Forrestal info as such: The free version of the USS Forrestal will have feature parity with the USS Stennis at minimum once complete. So, my question is about Mr. Greenshirt - teased back in 2017. Was he dumped altogether or rather he will he get his buddies to work together on the deck? Shall we expect that, once released, you will still work on the Forrestal deck crew or do you just want to deliver the Forrestal to complete the promise of a free carrier and move on to other projects? Thanks!

Please post a track and report a bug. You know how it goes, no track - no bug. -
Has Deka decided yet? What's their next module?
Gierasimov replied to J-20's topic in Deka Ironwork Simulations
Hopefully. I was expecting it for Marianas release as it was announced in January 2020.
