Okay, you are right. engines with multiple centrifugal compression stages do exist e.g. the Rolls Royce Dart. I was just stating something that I think a professor said years ago, but having a degree doesn't make you right.

It is been quite a while since I flew at night in DCS, but the ATC already toggles the runway lights like that don't they? I'm pretty sure something as big as not having runway lights is not something they would miss by now. (even if they do, it will be caught in beta)

Things like this should be a great incentive for FSX players to try out DCS. They already don't have weapons.

Axial flow compressors can be stacked for extra compression, while you can only have one layer of centrifugal compressors.

As if the other campaign wasn't mostly flying through hoops. Besides, it still has a "weapon" on it: I don't think it needs a campaign though. Does it have any built in missions (e.g. quickstart)? I have not checked yet.

They need to implement aerodynamic interaction between airplanes first for it to work the way it is explained on wikipedia. Otherwise, physical contact should work, but you might end up damaging your own plane.

There is a difference between "not a full cockpit" and shoving someone in the trunk. With the current canopy an adult would not be able to sit upright in that seat.

As an update to my previous post, You can run around like infantry (only with MANPADS) using wasd. There is camera shake as you run too (quite a lot of it).

I modded in this functionality in 1.2.7, but they were not able to be moved. Has anyone checked this out in 1.2.8 yet?

Isn't it considered fair use if your clip is only a small percentage of the original work? How long was your ringtone?

Last time I checked, the S-3 F-14, and Mirage 2000-5 are all looking old. The S-3 is currently the only NATO drogue tanker in DCS, which is needed for the US Navy, Mirage, and Tornado.

I don't have any experience with the F-15 yet, but some good general advice with DCS is, "Track or it didn't happen." The next time it happens, save the replay and attach it to your post. That makes it much easier for people to help. They should get saved to: C:\Users\UserName\Saved Games\DCS\Tracks Even if you forget to save it, you can still find the most recent flight saved there, so you can copy and rename that.
